Kida had her nose so deep into a book and was so hyper-focused that she didn't even notice Cayden enter the room.
"You know, there once was a saying about all work and no play making one dull." He said with a smile as he leaned against the door frame.
"You have been doing well in your studies, have shown great strides in pratical, and your aura control has been growing at a steady pace. So I must ask, why are you cooped up in here?"
A lot had happened in the short time at Aieos. Ruko had enjoyed the time with his family, the friendly games that had been played with each on a team. He may have "accidentally" bumped Lucky into an incoming enemy attack. But Lucky certainly got him back for it later. Than came the day Donnie and his family joined them all. He had stayed behind to let their young charge, one Ms. Katherine, get herself settled after a previous night. It took most of the rest of the entire trip to get her to open up to him about what had occured. He gave her comfort and swore not to tell others until she herself was ready. Than Friede had to leave. Ruko had given his sister and her chosen the distance that they needed before he gave his own goodbyes. @flocessyranch @skullboneandunown

The small mon watched the woman approach. He stared at her, and than let out the loudest howl he could. Dad had shown him pictures. Pictures of those that he should trust. This one was one of them. Which meant she could help. So he kept howling at her for help. Ruko and Blackburn, for their part, had began to panic when they couldn't find their child. They had separated to try and find him. The first one Lucky would find was Blackburn, who was visibly panicked. Upon seeing Lucky she rushed over to the Eeveelution. "Thank Arceus! Lucky, we lost Lancelot. We had stopped to talk to a friend for a moment and next thing we knew he was gone, and I haven't found him yet and if anythings happened to him I'll never forgive myself." Her emotions were high, she was beyond panicked, and she looked like she was on the verge of having a break down
While Ashe is helping the little hybrid out of the tub and to become dry and warm, Lucky has found Blackburn and extended a ribbon as a means of providing a reminder for her to 'breathe'.
He chirps, his words easy for a Pokemon to hear at least; 'He's with Ashe. He somehow found his way into the bathtub and is throwing quite the barky fit over it.' He seems more amused then anything. 'I think Ashe had cuteness aggression just a bit if I'm honest...'
As a dad to at least one or two Eevee kits, he guess he saw the cuteness thing but that was about it, honestly.
Blackburn let out a sigh of relief hearing that her child was safe. "We've been trying to get him use to baths using a kiddie pool. He gets loud about it too, but never really anything else." She was happy to talk about her kid, and there would be a sit down and talk with him. But not today. Today was about meeting family.
"I'll head over now. You...should probably go find my mate. I think my anxiety fed into his so he...might have freaked out more than me, and rushed off without much thought." She loved Ruko, she really did. But he was just a bit exasperating at times, and did not do well when under pressure.

A Riolu/Scorbunny hybrid had made his way into the house and was currently sitting in the bathtub. He had wandered away from his parents when they had stopped for a quick chat. They had been taking him to this place for some reason. And he was impatient so he went to the house himself while his parents were distracted and had started to explore himself which was when he had discovered the bathroom, and got himself into the bathtub without really thinking about it.
After a moment of being in it he began to howl. It was loud, dramatic, and it was because it was like the thing he was given baths in.
Ashe is the one who heard the howling to begin with. It was morning and the kids were already gone to school and her brother was over in Kalos so Ashe was alone... well, she thought she was until she peeked around the corner to see...
Oh. Oh no. The look on her face says it all, and her voice is the absolute epitome of gentle; "What's this then?" She smiles. "Got yourself in a place you don't like?" She kneels down at the side of the tub. She could see in the face that this was Ruko's child, and in the actions, Blackburn's. She knew all too well this was her nephew she had been waiting to meet for some time.
"Now where's your Papa and Mama, huh? They can't be too far." She glances to see her Sylveon who gives a ribbon flick and then heads off out the door to try and find said Lucario and Cinderace.

Ruko would approach the place that Milo had taken up. He wasn't sure if the teen had come by the home last night, though he had a feeling that the poor kid hadn't. So he brought a few things to try and make sleeping a bit easier. Mainly because he had never really been to the workshop out here. He would knock on the door and let out a small bark to announce his presence. He'd also keep himself open to see how Milo was doing.
Another reason he was doing this is to see if everyone was finally giving the poor kid some personal space. Maybe sit and be an ear for him.

(I know it's been a long time. My enthusiasm for the Pokémon franchise kind of died with Nintendo's lawsuit against Pocket Pair. TBH I don't think I'll ever be excited for new game releases like I use to be, but I can still enjoy the stuff I have and enjoy this blog despite that. This is something that I kind of forgot honestly)

Ruko would gently get up and stretch. Blackburn was insisting on watching and carrying their egg, and he was usually helping her watch games between the kids. But today was a rare day where he didn't have anything going on. "Gonna warn you that I'm a bit rusty with proper battles. My training with Terrakion mostly consists of using my own strength to stop the guy." But that didn't mean he wasn't up to the challenge. And he the mega stone in the necklace he wore would probably come in handy.
"That's... alright. Whatever you can... give to a battle is... fine with Pasha and I." He grips Pasha's pokeball before turning and heading for the battlefield. "Whenever you're ready, we'll be waiting." He calls over his shoulder. For now, he'd linger near the battlefield, but within distance of being able to remain in some shade.
Ruko didn't waste any time in heading over to the field. He was excited for a battle. A proper battle that would test him. He just hoped his abilities weren't too diminished from his lack of proper training and battle experience.
Upon arriving to the field he got into a ready stance with a smile on his face. "Don't hold back just because I'm rusty! Because I plan on putting my all into this match!"
Shadow stabs
Blackburn is to go to strike at Shadow for a moment. She knew he wasn't actually going stab her, but right now she was a protective mother.
"... Ruko. Would you... care to have a battle... with Pasha and I?" Grusha had been restless lately, and Pasha was more than up for a little fun. (flocessyranch)
