Joesph Joestar goes from using hamon overdrive to hermit purple, easily one of the weakest stands to exist in the Jojo universe. I keep asking myself why would he keep using this hermit purple thing when he could and should regularly use his hamon to take on and overcome some of the more punchier foes in Jojo?

It greatly boggles my mind how he simply forgets what he once was and this leads me to explore if the Jojo's would be better off with hamon or stands?
