Any ideas for a good exploud moveset?
The last time I did an Exploud moveset was almost three years ago, I might do another moveset post for it but honestly I don't see it changing too much from this one.http://pokemonmovesetsdaily.tumblr.com/post/79463917985/pokemon-set-of-the-day-exploud-exploud-has
You doing okay champ?
I'm fine, still building myself up again. It's hard, because right when I feel like I've built myself up to a healthy state of mind my ex does something to bring me back to square one. Sorry about the lack of posts and all the personal stuff, it's just been a rough 2017 so far.
Speaking of Gen 4, how about a Magnezone moveset?

Nah, gimme gen 4 remakes!
BUT MY YOUTH ANON I CAN'T BE OLD YET
Am I the only person who doesn't want to see Sinnoh remakes just yet?
It's not that I don't like Diamond and Pearl, it's just that I remember those games coming out when I was like 13 and if there's a remake I'm going to feel old as fuck.
Hi, do you have any cool Escavalier movesets? I've looked at a bunch of smogon movesets for it, but I'm hoping for something more unconventional to keep my smogon-happy sister on her toes.
This is the Escavalier set I wrote for the blog a while back! Have fun beating your sister! http://pokemonmovesetsdaily.tumblr.com/post/107422158150/pokemon-set-of-the-day-escavalier-escavalier
On my Z-Conversion Porygon-Z, should I keep Tri Attack or should I replace it with a coverage move like Dark Pulse/ Psychic?
If this is Z-Conversion Porygon Tri Attack probably isn't worth running. Generally, you order your moves so Porygon ends up as an Electric type so I would probably do something like Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Focus Blast as far as coverage goes.
been thinkin abt the REAL questions
I’d like to respectfully submit a third option
Definitely the third one
On the subject of Froslass: I think it's going to have to be played more carefully this Gen since D-bond can't just be spammed anymore. It's going to require more thought than just slapping a Sash onto it and using it as a suicide lead.
That's fair, I still think Froslass isn't going to change much just because it still forces switches and has enough utility moves to keep it relevant.
Pokemon Set of the Day- Vikavolt (TBD): (As requested by anonymous) Pokemon Sun and Moon definitely pushed Bug types in a big way, and Vikavolt is one of the many buzzing their way into the metagame! This hard hitting cannon of a Pokemon is ready to light enemies up! Vikavolt @ Choice Specs Ability: Levitate EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe Modest Nature - Thunderbolt - Bug Buzz - Volt Switch - Hidden Power [Grass] - Vikavolt is one of the hardest hitting Pokemon given to us in Sun and Moon, and this moveset looks to abuse this trait. Maximum Special Attack EV investment along a Choice Specs item allows Vikavolt to hit as hard as possible. The Speed EV investment allows Vikavolt to out speed uninvested Skarmory with the rest of the investment essentially put into HP for additional bulk. - Thunderbolt is the Electric type STAB move of choice, dealing accurate and solid damage to the opposing Pokemon. Bug Buzz is the Bug type STAB move of choice, for the same reasons Thunderbolt is so effective. Volt Switch grants Vikavolt switch initiative, allowing switch momentum and escapes from poor matchups. Hidden Power Grass is the Hidden Power type I opted for. Hidden Power Ice is useful for hitting threats such as Landorus-T and Garchomp, but against Pokemon such stall matchups using Pokemon such as Quagsire or Gastrodon Hidden Power Grass will be significantly better. - Vikavolt is slow, everyone knows it and this weakness has been talked about to death online. The moveset I proposed is primarily for wallbreaking, however Trick Room options are available to deal with this shortcoming better. There's also a bit of a bulk issue, and normally while Vikavolt's bulk wouldn't be too much of an issue it's not enough bulk to justify Vikavolt's poor Speed stat. Outside of a Trick Room/Wallbreaker option, Galvantula will most likely grant better results due to a better Speed stat and a bit better utility moveset. Vikavolt best pairs with Pokemon such as Heatran, Terrakion, Rotom-W and Slowbro make for good partners to cover Vikavolt's weaknesses. How did you like this set? Have a Pokemon you want me to make a set for? Let me know!
so what do u think about froslass in today's metagame? i speed-crept one to outspeed garchomp (not scarfchomp sadly), and with investment it comfortably ohKOs a few common threats. for mine, i did some sp def investments so it could survive tapu koko (i felt like a scientist lol), and im currently running thunderbolt/willowisp/icebeam/shadowball and so far its surprising a few folks ANYWAY whats ur opinion on it as a whole?
Froslass generally tends to go down to the lower tiers at the start of a new generation, and towards the end of the generation it moves back up to OU or close to it. Honestly, the biggest thing in Froslass's favor is the fact most people don't know what to do with when facing one. Ice/Ghost is a typing that doesn't look good on paper, but in practice I can't tell you how many times someone has tried to hit it with a Mach Punch. Even against experienced players it can be a headache, as Froslass can carry Taunt to mess with other leads, Spikes to punish switches, and Destiny Bond assures it almost always goes 1 for 1. Froslass is really the epitome of an annoyer Pokemon in my eyes, to the point I've even had people forfeit on Showdown because they see a Froslass on your team.
