Why did the producer leave?

There were complications with communication between team members and over time, a decrease in productivity and motivation. He chose to leave in efforts to not be a burden or feel disappointed/let down with how the project was going. Plus he was in the midst of his senior year of college, so life was just a giant culmination of things that all came together at the wrong time. No hard feelings on any end, it just means changes to the story and design in the future!

SEMI-HIATUS

Hello all, This post comes with a bit of unfortunate news. There has been absence of productivity and dedication in the Pokescapades team, which was followed by a change of production lead and the exit of our previous producer, Joshua. It’s been both a challenging and unique experience thus far, but unfortunately things are in the process of change again.  At this point, I will be putting Pokescapades on a bit of a back burner due to my new job starting and the absence of any artists involved in the project anymore. The project is going to begin into a transition from a voiced-over animatic to a comic style project, which will hopefully bring about new interest and potential artists. At this point, I am looking for sketch artists, character design, illustrators, lineart, anything! Haha!  Feel free to message or send an ask in with suggestions, comments, concerns, or interest in joining the new team! You can contact me on my personal page as well at @sinnamon-bxn  *SIDE NOTE*  I will be picking the top 5 blogs from the 100-follower giveaway to star in the comic once things pick back up again; I will release the winners in the next update! Hi! I was searching voice casting call and came across this. I was wondering if you could tell me more about the series, and who you need voices for? Thanks!

Hello Thanks for asking! Pokescapades is an animated mini-series that more or less details the story of an Ampharos (named Procyon) and his friends as they try to stop a technologically gifted megalomaniacal Hypno (Sirius) bent on taking over the world. The cast is continuing to expand, but right now we’re looking for voices for these characters:

Tags: A hippie Magby with a penchant for hardware and tinkering.

Isabelle: A Meowth with a shady past and hacker extraordinaire.

Catherine: A Lopunny allied with Sirius who might be even more power hungry than her boss - with fighting skills to back it up.

🔑 - For a key fact about someone (Kelsey)

Before meeting her current batch of friends & acquaintances, Kelsey was a cartoonist, though anonymously. She ran the most popular strip in 300 different newspapers for a full century (you can see some of her character designs in the background), then retired when folks finally began asking how the strip had kept going for so long. 

Careful not to spoil her well-guarded secret - no one ever found out it was her, and she intends to keep it that way!

🔑 - For a key fact about someone (Sirius)

Sirius is very protective of those she sees as friends. In fact, prior to their falling out, she once risked her life to save Procyon. When asked about it now, she pretends it didn’t happen, or that she’s forgotten.

You just say that because you think you can create some kind of empathy for me, don’t you?

Who are Kelsey and Sirius?

“I’m the fun one. Call me Kay, if you like! I hang out with Pro a lot - together we’ve solved some real tough puzzles! Not to mention that whole saving his life like three times thing…”

“I’m not sure why you want to know who I am if you don’t already. I’ve got a lot on my plate, and it doesn’t include answering these types of questions, but whatever. I’m a Hypno, a scientist, and a visionary. I also don’t get along too well with the Mew on my left, or the Ampharos she’s talking about.”

*Procyon, shouting in the background* “We’d get along a lot better if you weren’t a power hungry nut case!”

“…As I said, we’re not on the best of terms.”

He’s not a bad guy. A little loud sometimes, but I think he means well. Now if I could just convince him to take his silly asthma medication before recording for me…
