Education is everything. Sure Bill Maher might make politics sound funny, but his opinion on religion, on Islam especially, is nothing more than irrational generalizations based 0% research and 100% opinion.
This video speaks for itself.

"Yeah, I'm a little bit fascist."
How disgustingly ironic.
This is from 2011 and it shows the kidnapping of Palestinian boys by Israeli undercover forces in Ras Al Amoud in Jerusalem. The video description says that one of the boys was later taken to a graveyard and was beaten by the soldiers. This is for those who are actually trying to say that the current campaign carried out by israel is but a “reaction” to the kidnapping of the three settlers. No. This shit has been happening for decades now. Israel didn’t and doesn’t need a reason to be the fascist “state” that it is.

It seems that, like Mohamed calls them, Hyphenated Americans, really are not as American as other Americans.

American citizen Tariq Abu Khdeir, 15, a high school student from Florida spending his summer vacation in Palestine, was arrested, handcuffed and brutally beaten by Israeli border police. He was denied medical treatment for several hours, and is now being held without charge. Tariq is the cousin of Muhammed Abu Khdeir, who was abducted while waiting for dawn prayer and burned alive by his settler-captors. As America has been silent about Mohamed's case, they are being silent about Tariq now! Get on twitter and use #StandUpForTariq and #FreeSoltan Enough is enough!
A few kind words I read in my local Bahrain newspaper:
“Over a week or two, I have been thinking more and more about the amount of evil, war, bad acts happening around the world and what can I do to minimise this. Whenever you open a news channel or read a newspaper, you hear or read more...
Bashar al-Assad's election posters in Syria.
There's plenty wrong with this picture.
This video is a small gift to the Palestinian families who were forced out of their homeland, Palestine, on May 15th 1948. A day of heartless killing and oppression like never seen before.
We stand together until the day of return. Nakba day, we will never forget.
I would like to thank my great friend Saif Shawaf for featuring me in his video. It has always been his dream to make this video, and it finally happened.
Me to people who'll be voting for Bashar al-Assad in the upcoming Syrian elections.

What makes me even sadder is that Bashar al-Assad will be having elections this year, and some will even be voting for him.
Emphasis on the 'some'. Still, it grinds me gears.
