idk how many can relate but im a transgender age regressor, so my agere experience is kind of confusing because i enjoy boyre content a lot but girlre content sometimes speaks to my personal experiences more as someone who was born female and was raised with a “girl childhood”

ANYWAY this moodboard is for those who can relate to that feeling, for the trans regressors who had a childhood experience that doesn’t align with their current gender identity, boy regressors who grew up as girls, girl regressors who grew up as boys, and everything in between 😁

youre valid regardless of if you were raised as the opposite gender, or if you like regression content of the opposite gender!!!

(side note: don’t come for me about stereotypes because some may not relate but some DO, and someone’s lived experience shouldn’t be called a stereotype)

Lou gets a tad bit discouraged when people water down agere just to being "TikTok cutesy pastels" , or go "I want dirty and messy regression depicted more often, I hate all the cutesy content!" Because although there's nothing wrong with wanting to have more depictions of how messy, emotional and not pretty agere can be... it also makes me feel as if people see. "Cutesy , dumb, pastel" regression spaces as less valid.

Lou's regression is so utterly messy, it's my coping mechanism after all. I'm a traumatized kid. My personal reasoning for wanting to mainly depict my regression with cute , soft and gentle pastels and things is because it is what soothes me. My regression is ugly, that's why my safe space is cute and pastel. Lou would prefer to have softness to come to among all the messiness.

Everyone's regression is valid regardless, no matter how you choose to depict your safe space & how you genuinely experience it. I do wish more than just the pastel and cute side of agere was shown most popularly as well ! Shout out to my more spooky and gothic babies & caregivers, as well as neutral ones too. Whether depicted or not, know your spaces are valid regardless of popularity. It's just the feeling of people watering down "cutesy regression" as less serious that worries me.

another offputting weirdgirl who is literally me.. another super niche headcanon i doubt many people have thought of , i know i said i was likely not going to be on here for a while but i will likely be a quiet presence , posting some stuff but not as interactive sorry. not sure how to cope at the moment , huge betrayal by closest person on here has me not well at all and does not look like i will be getting an apology or explanation so ^-^;; when that one person who you think really views you as a person ends up seeing you as just another piece of meat to treat like less than dirt. i know i have some requests so i'll try to keep up with this blog it will give me something to do but i am also struggling to come on here as i shared my regression a lot with this person and am not sure how to feel anymore about involving others in it. so i'll be on here less at least for now likely.

i don't mean for this to seem rude/mean but its very hard to see your doodles in pink as it hurts my eyes :( idk if anyone else would/has this problem or if I just have sensitive eyes but I'm just letting you know

I'd just say those doodles are probably not for you then. I usually draw in a softer and pink pallete for my agere art. My go to's for lineart are cherry red brown with a pink background , I don't always draw in a full pink on pink pallete... but pink is usually incorporated , as well as pastels.

I'll start tagging my art as brightness warning. I didnt necessarily think I'd need to before, but I don't wanna hurt anyone else's eyes. Ty again !
