Taylor trying to sew baby blankets for all of her pregnant friends in a timely manner
Hello everyone! My name is Cess, I am a frontliner, I work as a medical technologist/scientist in a hospital in the Philippines. As you all know, we are all battling covid-19. We are experiencing a shortage of PPEs, N96/3ply masks, alcohol, goggles, gloves. Not just in my workplace but also in other hospitals all over the Philippines.
So I decided to start a fund raising to be able to help my fellow medtechs, nurses, doctors and all health workers.
You can drop your donations here. https://www.paypal.me/PrincessShalada
pls add “for covid-19 in your message”
Thank you everyone! Together we fight covid-19! PLS STAY AT HOME FOR US!
BTW you can check my facebook if you are in doubt https://www.facebook.com/cessyouu
also, I will be posting the medical supplies that i’ll be able to purchase from your donations. And ill be updating this post with screenshots of your donations!
If ever I gather enough donations, I will be helping other hospitals too, because almost all hospitals in MANILA are already lacking from med supplies. Thank you so much! <3
If you have any questions pls message me! STAY SAFE!

I find the concept of growing in love so much prettier than love at first sight?? like one day you look at someone and you suddenly realize you see them in a different light than you did the night before. that’s falling.
Today is the 7 year anniversary of the RED album.
Taylor Swift’s music always relates back to my story, but RED in particular was released at an enigmatic time of my life—where three of my four great love stories were intersecting; some ending, some repeating, and one starting anew.
Each song on RED takes me straight back to a particular memory of that time, and those melodies and lyrics will always be the literal soundtrack to that year for me.
It’s possibly my favorite album of all time for that reason, and I’m so thankful it exists, and it came into the world at the time it did. She was singing about things that were manifesting in my own life. It was like magic and fate came together to bring me some of the most personal music of my lifetime.
So I’m listening to that record all day today, remembering nostalgically the highs and lows and wild times of epic love I experienced.
Grey love, blue love, love that sparkled like starlight and came back around one Last Time. Love that was a state of grace— sad beautiful and tragic, love that stood on holy ground. Love that began again, and love that I knew was trouble from the very start.
Love that was Red.
I’ve had four epic romances in my life. I’m not sure people are guaranteed more than one. So even if I never fall in love again, I consider my story one worth remembering, appreciating, and embracing.
Im a lucky one.
And if I bleed, You’ll be the last to know
(1/2) “This album is a love letter to love itself – all the captivating, spellbinding, maddening, devastating red, blue, gray, golden aspects of it”
ok i know i JUST SAID that i wasn’t gonna read the pitchfork reviews but i caved and read the fearless one because 1. it’s my favourite album and 2. the review was by a female author named hazel, which was my grandma’s name, so i automatically trusted her just a little bit more than the average person. but anyway this part made me fucking CRY:
“On her self-titled debut, Swift established herself as a precocious storyteller who could write love songs vague and ageless enough that anyone might find herself in them, perhaps to prove to Nashville that a teen could do it. Her second album, Fearless, is a rebuke to that approach, with Swift bringing listeners straight to the dreaded football-game bleachers and mean-girl maze of high school. She took her teen self seriously and demanded others do the same, navigating the cloying innocence of a girl who simultaneously experiences relationships like a dog-eared Nicholas Sparks novel and also has the wisdom to know that not all kisses end in a rainstorm.”
‘she took her teen self seriously and demanded others do the same’ is one of my favourite things that’s ever been written about taylor. that one sentence perfectly encapsulates why i love fearless so much. fearless is very much an album that only a 17-18 year old girl could ever have written. it’s PROUD of that. and grammy voters decided it was the best album that was put out in its year of release.
teenage girls are often negatively stereotyped as being too emotional and too romantic and too MUCH, and taylor refusing to apologise for any of this had such a profound influence on me as a teenager that i can’t even put it into words right now. i will always be so grateful that taylor recognised the magic in teenage girls and gave me, and so many other young women, that freedom to embrace the parts of ourselves that so many people tried to teach us to hate 🥺
I was good. I was really good.

taylorswift we need a recipe for these please! 🍪🍪🍪
MMMKAY— there are two ways you can go about this. The quick and easy way is to make sugar cookies from a sugar cookie mix and just cut open a packet of chai tea and pour it into the batter as you make it. Cause you’re busy and you want making cookies to be a chill part of your day. Pow. Done.
OR
If you want to make the cookies from scratch (that’s what I did for the 1989 Secret Sessions), you can use this recipe I found on a baking blog I like, joythebaker.com and I believe it was originally from a book called The Pastry Queen. If you want another great baking blog, I get a lot of great ideas from smittenkitchen.com too. This is a recipe for basic insanely good sugar cookies. I added the chai element to the recipe because I thought it would infuse cozy holiday vibez into the cookie and it really did. So I’ll star the part that I added in the recipe.
http://joythebaker.com/2009/06/giant-vanilla-sugar-cookies/
***after you add the egg and vanilla, cut one chai tea packet open and empty the crushed up tea leaves into the batter CAUSE CHAI COOKIES ARE ABOUT TO HAPPEN UP IN HERE***
I made an icing for the cookies, but they’re fine on their own. If you want to make icing for them, just mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 1/4 T-spoon of nutmeg, 1/4 T-spoon of cinnamon and 3 TAYblespoons <—-(I’m so annoying, it astounds me sometimes) of milk or eggnog if you can find it this time of year. The more milk/eggnog you add, the more your icing will become a glaze. But glazes are legit too so basically just LIVE YOUR LIFE.
I lightly sprinkled cinnamon over the icing once the cookies were baked and iced, but there are so many icing options you can pair with these cookies—I mean it’s out of control. If you’re really feeling like living on the edge, you can go ahead and add a few drops of food coloring to the icing to make it festive. No one is going to stop you.
Why?
Cause the bakers gonna bake bake bake bake bake.
Bye.
did taylor swift really just show up out of the blue on tumblr only to drop some betty crocker shit on us what the fuck
I’m reblogging this solely bc Taylor Fucking Swift just wrote a whole thing about cookies and ended it with a reference to her song.
I have so much respect for her right now.
Making these TODAY. I’m so PUMPED.
@taylorswift
this has 500k notes. iconic.
someone on twitter really said I’m oppressing rich fans by “morally kidnapping them with my poverty”
when u dont know what words mean
We don't have to blame ppl if they were born with silver spoon in their mouth. Yes, it's unfair to compare but some ppl here - mostly americans flaunt their wealth that unfortunate ppl can't relate and feel oppressed. That's why miscommunication, and let's be honest envious among us surface in the means of calling out to privilege ppl who can afford anything. But don't forget also that there are few rich ppl who have good hearts and willing to pay for others for them to attend concerts.
We just need to be honest with ourself & to others. Because if half of this fandom can splurge thousands for merch and numerous shows tickets and can donate amount of money to struggling artists and causes - I believe that they can do that also to their fellow Swifties who can't afford such luxury & stuff.
Lol being an international fan and broke, believe me, going to Taylor's concerts is not even at the top of my worries. I've made peace with admiring her a whole ocean away and seeing her only through a screen. BUT you can't tell me/anyone to "save up more" and to quit whining about feeling excluded. If I had the means I would 100% go to her concert and so would the rest of her poorer fans. Maybe just let us vent and not feel attacked just because you can afford to buy tickets/merch?
“You’re just another story I can’t tell anymore.”
