A lot of people like to explain consent in sexual encounters as âNo means no.â This is true, but doesnât capture as many crucial parts of happy fun sex and experiences as âYes means yes!â Consent should always be informed and enthusiastic, never coerced, and you and your partner should be looking for consent continuously. Stay safe, stay happy, and have fun!
Consent can look different for different people, but thatâs why communication between partners is so important. No matter what it looks like though, consent should not hinge on any fear, discomfort, or pressure.Â

Itâs not friendship, itâs bromance. Itâs not eyeliner, itâs guyliner. Itâs not yoga, itâs broga. Itâs not just silly portmanteaus, itâs evidence of the hilarious fragility of masculinity.

When people talk about how words reinforce the binary it is ONLY ever in regards to bisexuality. I have been to many LGBT spaces where this has come up. âWe need to drop the Bâ or in a personal context âOh I donât use bisexual because it reinforces the binary.â You know what never ever comes up after? How words like âgayâ and âlesbianâ are also reinforcing a gender binary. Nobody ever says âWe need to change our name from âThe National Gay and Lesbian Task Force to something more inclusive because gay and lesbian reinforce the gender binaryâ or âI donât call myself a lesbian because it isnât trans inclusiveâ That is how I know this is just biphobia masquerading as âinclusive languageâ. Only bisexuals have to change, only our words are bad. Even though the bisexual community defines itself as âattraction to same/different genders or more than one genderâ this binary, cis only men and women definition biphobia is constantly imposed from outside the community by cis people doing it in the name of people like me.

taylorswift we need a recipe for these please! đȘđȘđȘ
MMMKAYâ there are two ways you can go about this. The quick and easy way is to make sugar cookies from a sugar cookie mix and just cut open a packet of chai tea and pour it into the batter as you make it. Cause youâre busy and you want making cookies to be a chill part of your day. Pow. Done.
OR
If you want to make the cookies from scratch (thatâs what I did for the 1989 Secret Sessions), you can use this recipe I found on a baking blog I like, joythebaker.com and I believe it was originally from a book called The Pastry Queen. If you want another great baking blog, I get a lot of great ideas from smittenkitchen.com too. This is a recipe for basic insanely good sugar cookies. I added the chai element to the recipe because I thought it would infuse cozy holiday vibez into the cookie and it really did. So Iâll star the part that I added in the recipe.

***after you add the egg and vanilla, cut one chai tea packet open and empty the crushed up tea leaves into the batter CAUSE CHAI COOKIES ARE ABOUT TO HAPPEN UP IN HERE***
I made an icing for the cookies, but theyâre fine on their own. If you want to make icing for them, just mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 1/4Â T-spoon of nutmeg, 1/4Â T-spoon of cinnamon and 3 TAYblespoons <â-(Iâm so annoying, it astounds me sometimes) of milk or eggnog if you can find it this time of year. The more milk/eggnog you add, the more your icing will become a glaze. But glazes are legit too so basically just LIVE YOUR LIFE.
I lightly sprinkled cinnamon over the icing once the cookies were baked and iced, but there are so many icing options you can pair with these cookiesâI mean itâs out of control. If youâre really feeling like living on the edge, you can go ahead and add a few drops of food coloring to the icing to make it festive. No one is going to stop you.
Why?
Cause the bakers gonna bake bake bake bake bake.
Bye.

I thought this said "I want all your arms around me" which was a little weird.
If you obsess over whether you are making the right decision, you are basically assuming that the universe will reward you for one thing and punish you for another. The universe has no fixed agenda. Once you make any decision, it works around that decision. There is no right or wrong, only a series of possibilities that shift with each thought, feeling, and action that you experience.

I need to remember this... like, forever.
honestly, this is so important though. at 18, i had been depressed for so long that i was afraid of what would happen if it were to get treatment. âif this part of me goes away, who am i? will i still be the same me?â i was legitimately afraid of getting help for myself. your depression may shape you, but it doesnât define you.
THIS IS SO FUCKING VALIDATING I CANâT EVEN.
GETTING HELP DOES NOT MEAN LOSING CREATIVITY.
Let me repeat that, in case you werenât clear:Â getting help - therapy, medication, self-care - does NOT mean losing creativity. I know too many fabulous creative people who lose themselves and their art to this nonsense.
I became more creative and better able to produce new work after getting proper treatment for my mental health. Maybe mental illness is part of the creative spark, but itâs not the whole thing.
Get help, get help, get help. This isn't you.
