who else is up permanently feeling like they did something Wrong
“why is the among us show actually good” “oh why is the among us show funny” “oh i can’t believe this cartoon is good and not just shitty references” “i thought this show was going to be trash”
i’m so disappointed in y’all. did infinity train teach you nothing? of course it was going to be good??? it’s owen dennis????? and they let him do whatever he & his crew wanted????? it was always going to be good what happened to supporting animation??????
among us is about the exploitation of poor laborers under capitalism and the way corporations deliberately keep workers at odds with one another to avoid accountability and cut costs. and it is also clearly being a lancing criticism of the animation industry (with themes referencing HBO’s treatment of animated shows, movies, and the creators they threw under the bus and deleted works of, particularly in the Warner bros merger and beyond. one of which being owen dennis’s pervious show infinity train)
and uses its creative freedom given to it by funding backing an existing IP (silly video game) in order to explore these themes in a very not-ironic plot and writing style about little space blobs and also STILL has some of the best animated expression work i’ve ever seen.
plus every character is nonbinary. everyone should give it a watch. it’s really funny
I PROMISE IM NOT ACTUALLY MAD ABOUT THE SPACE BLOB APP SHOW I JUST LIKE ANIMATION A LOT
oh god, and i didn’t even mention how the show wrapped and then got stuck in corporate limbo for about 2 years before it was unceremoniously dumped onto streaming with not a sniff of warning or advertising to the point where the artists and actors who worked on it didn’t even know it was out. 👍 NO BIGGIE‼️
Original comic by Rasenth
Leelah Alcorn was a trans girl, a teenager, who sadly committed suicide nearly 10 years ago. I'm happy that her comic touches the hearts of so many people, years after her death.
I saved screenshots of her blog and last message to the world. Her parents had a lot of control over how she was perceived after her death, but it was also to prevent deletion by Tumblr itself. Even back then, Tumblr has been shadow banning trans women on this platform.
My heart goes out to all trans women who are struggling with society's expectations of who they are supposed to be and who they are allowed to be. May you find peace, growth, and respite from whatever you're going through. You deserve happiness, most of all. Thank you for living, thank you for being here with us.

every time i watch some piece of media about how abused children need to put in the work to understand their poor put upon parents i think about the scene in the asoue netflix show where klaus is told his shitty boss had a terrible childhood and says "i'm having a very terrible childhood right now". like damn gottem pack it up we can stop doing this narrative in film and literature now
So if Caine and Kinger finally have a father-son relationship… does that mean Kinger calls him by his first name, all three middle names, and last name when he’s about to unleash the full force of his parental wrath
We watched toy story 2 today and they say suicide prominently in the first act. So whenever someone says "unalive," they are operating at a sub-toy story level of vocabulary maturity
The pigs in Mississippi just murdered a baby, A BABY! A ONE YEAR OLD INFANT!
Protests erupt in Senatobia after one-year-old Kohen Wiley killed after police responded to report of shoplifting
Even if she HAD stolen the diapers... Why are you shooting at someone over diapers. That wasn't because he cared about no damn theft. He wanted to shoot, and he killed a one year old over it.
Dont lock me up for this one
According to the Covington Police Department, Murry Foust was last seen on April 27, captured on surveillance footage in the city’s Latonia neighborhood walking down a sidewalk wearing a yellow backpack. Friends of the student told local ABC affiliate WCPO that Foust was planning to go to class but left their phone at home. The backpack was later found on campus, per WCPO. Charlie King, a close friend of Foust’s, noted in a Facebook post that Foust’s car was found a block from their apartment in Latonia.
The CPD and most media sources currently refer to Foust using they/them pronouns. In response to a request for comment from Them seeking clarity on how Foust identified, an NKU spokesperson referred to social media posts made by friends of the student.
Those posts note Foust is a trans man early in his transition who uses he/they pronouns. (In the interest of facilitating the search, we will mention here that Foust’s legal name is Alexis.)
“I encourage people to respect that,” King wrote in a follow-up to his initial post, referring to Foust’s he/they pronouns. “I frankly don’t really give a shit what you insist on calling him though; I care that he is found and people are looking out for them.”

They still haven't found him, I'm linking a Facebook page with the information and updates as to what is being done to find Murry. If you're in the area, please help search 🫂
I swear to GOD I’m not vagueing my situation, but I made a post recently about books I was planning to read this year, and I find it very….. interesting that multiple people came into my inbox afterward to tell me that all the queer authors in the bunch had sinned. like maybe they had, I dunno. it wouldn’t stop me reading (I love Interview with the Vampire, I have Thoughts about Anne Rice, etc). but it is interesting that none of the non-queer authors merited this whisper campaign, despite some of them honestly deserving it. not saying anything outright here, just making an observation. listening and learning. you know
