It is a very weird thing to reflection on life and realize all the other lives, other paths, other mysteries you could have taken, people you could have been; but instead you are you, for better or worse. I think this is why I've been so stuck feeling for the last few years. So much mourning over intangible possibilities that never were but could have been, so much sadness over the potential that I wasted because I couldn't be honest with myself and let fear control my decisions. I'm now at the end of my 20's and not even a fourth, or an eighth, or a nth of a fraction where I had hoped and dreamed I would be. But it is never too late. Time to pick myself up by the bootstraps and carry on.
