Theo after he is orphaned by his father’s debt driven suicide, forced to flee across the country with stolen cash and pills, leaving behind the love of his life, risking homelessness as a high school sophomore:
basically
diary of a wimpy kid as the goldfinch 1/?
love that Boris’ laugh is so loud and sudden that it’s described as a bark
you come into my house. on the day of my engagement to a girl I don’t like and who is also cheating on me. and you ask me to go to Amsterdam with you. to steal back my bird painting

so u guys just decided to make the goldfinch trend for no reason huh 🤕
i love how the goldfinch fandom has collectively agreed that the book is very good and the movie is very bad, but the movie is aesthetically very nice. so we’re all sharing photosets & edits of the movie with each other. but we all understand the photosets and edits are all about the book, not the movie. the movie is just there in the photos for aesthetic purposes.
when the latin american version of the goldfinch drops and theo says i love you
happy anniversary to the first time boris saw the goldfinch

Got reminded of my favourite book recently, so decided to do a little doodle of the boys.
