Hello! Complete stranger here. I saw you reposting my "Things that suck #1" post and I read your tags (I always check when I get reblogged). And so I saw you mentioning the Hawk. I hope you don't mind me asking but do you mean... The one I think you mean? Hawkeye? *-*

Its this guy! His name is Hawk, and he’s from the LDR short “Blindspot!” It came out around March of 2019, so hes pretty new!! I love him very much and i hope him and the Short hes in gets more attention soon!! :D

i've considered having their form be based on some sort of angel hierarchy - it's been a lot of fun reading how they've been classified in different religions - but i'm not sure if i want to use that after all! for now, they're all equal.

the angels quickly realized that most creatures would fear them less if they looked similar to them. while the results weren't perfect - the "reshaped" angel would still be made of the same substance and glow - it was enough for them to approach most animals. humans were an interesting case. while many required the same treatment as other creatures, some didn't seem to mind their real form - and some were even interested in seeing it.

Solar and Lunar and the Eclipse Brothers, not twins tho. Lunar is older then Solar. In my AU Eclipse is not one but two beings. Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse, but short it's just Solar and Lunar.

Solar has the bases if a lion fish, kinda.

Lunar is a mix between a moray eel and those electric eels.

I imagined Sun swimming and wanted to draw that, something simple but I got excited and tried to add light and shadow.

And then I wanted to draw Moon too so I did, swimming a little deeper and being happy 👍

Wooo so have this guy. Idk why long eel-like tails is the way I went but I sure do like it. Danger Noodle time. This one is the Balloon World glitch as a mermaid. (*Note: I actually like to separate them and the entity "Eclipse" so there's also an Eclipse here. I like to call this one [Entiy Unknown] tho.)

Buuuut anyway! Unknown is much darker in coloration than the others. His missing arm was lost a long time ago when he and Eclipse were chased out of their old territory by another group of merfolk.

He's more suited to darker depths and prefers to lurk around while keeping an eye on Sun and Moon since they're fairly young for merfolk. However...

He glows!! As a whole, their specific species can control their bioluminesence and use it as a form of underwater communication similar to Morse code. Other forms of communication include a form of sign language and "singing", though they seem to be capable of learning humam languages.

Will be doing Sun, Moon, and Eclipse soon.
