Continuing their "Portraits in Leadership" series, they take a closer look at the central character, Emmy Crawford and how the series develops Emmy's role in the community from hunted victim to someone people turn to in times of need. How does this transition happen and how does it affect the rest of life and the relationships around her? What does leadership look like when there are precious few people to turn to for role models? And does helping and harming people in your community need to be mutually exclusive activities when you're a reality warping witch in an isolated rural community?
