Send me a sentence for my muse's reaction
"Are you even listening to me?" “Are you even listening to yourself?” “Are you sure they won’t find out?” “Are you sure this is legal?” “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” “Are you threatening me?” “Be mine.” “Can you be anymore obvious?” “Do I know you?” “Do you love me?” “Do you remember this?” “Do you trust me?” “Don’t go.” “Don’t let me die” “Don’t look at me like that.” “Don’t make me beg.” “Don’t you dare come near me!” “Don’t you dare.” “Explain yourself.” “For you, I would _____” “Give it back.” “Give me another chance.” “Have you ever even done this before?” “How drunk are you right now?” “I already regret this.” “I am not wearing that.” “I can’t believe you missed that.” “I can’t do this anymore.” “I can’t even look at you.” “I could kill you!” “I dare you.” or “I dare you to _____.” “I didn’t do it.”“ “I didn’t know you could do that.” “I don’t want to look at you right now.” “I guess this is goodbye.” “I hate you.” “I have to go.” “I just want to cuddle.” “I know your secret.” “I love you, but I really wish I didn’t.” “I love you.” “I miss you so very much.” “I missed you.” “I need a drink.” “I need a hug.” “I never really loved you.” “I owe you.” “I think I broke it.” “I think I’m falling in love with you. “ “I think I’m forgetting something.” “I think it’s broken.” “I trust you.” “I want to be yours.” “I want to try this thing I read in a book.” “I want you. I can’t believe you right now.” “Very good, you had me fooled.” “Want to hear a secret?” “We need to talk.” “We’re moving too fast.” “Well that was unexpected.” “What are we doing here?” “What are you afraid of?” “What are you touching?” “What are you?” “What do you need?” “What happened to you?” “What have I done this time?” “What if someone catches us?” “What sort of noise was that?” “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” “What were you thinking?” “Where are my clothes?” “Where did you find this?” “Where do you even find this sort of thing?” “Where were you?” “Who’d have guessed you could pull such a face?” “Why are you wearing that?” “Why yes, I am as think as you drunk I am.” “You could have died!” “You could have killed someone!” “You coward.” “You don’t need to be so gentle.” “You drive me crazy!” “You have ten minutes, so make it quick.” “You lied to me!” “You mean everything to me.” “You owe me.” “You. Come. Snuggle. NOW!” “You’re all out of ____.” “You’re an idiot.” “You’re bad for me.” “You’re dead to me.” “You’re pregnant and It’s mine” “You’re really good at this…” “You’re so weird.”“ “You’re under arrest.”
Thinking back a few hours in hindsight this horrible boredom could’ve been avoided.
Hope had heard that the opera was coming to town, and being the extremely cultured and mature woman she was…How could she let the opportunity pass by? So, she’d bought her ticket online- Some balcony seat waaay up high- and arrived in the appropriate rather fancy attire.
At first she had felt some excitement. She loved musical theater, and was always up for a show. This couldn’t be too different right? Though, a few minutes in she found herself spacing out. And halfway through the first act she was slumped in her seat, just waiting for it to be over. Even ballet was more exciting than this. In the shows she loved there were jokes or catchy tunes, or at least a riveting story! Whether that story be depressing (Les Miserables…Sideshow..) or just plain amazing (Wicked..Rent..) Maybe at intermission she could ditch this snore-fest and see if Annie had another show lined up tonight…
Hope’s eyes drifted about until they landed on the shiny watch of the person next to her. Straitening up, she whispered as quietly as she could where he could still hear her, “D’you have the time?”
Raul was no stranger to operas. He loved the sound of the strings and wind instruments complimenting one another, and the sound of the percussion adding punctuation to get the point across. The stories the music told was captivating. What made it particularly riveting to the man was the fact the story was told without words. Words were powerful but sometimes feelings and experiences told a grander tale.
His attention was momentarily snatched from the music when a very bored looking women asked him a question. With a small nod, he replied, "Plenty." Taking her question more seriously, he glanced at his watch. "It's quarter to eight. Do you have a place to be?"
"You look like you could use a hand."
At first it doesn’t register that the statement is directed at her. She keeps up the awkward shuffle, holding a cardboard box filled with novels and manuscripts to her chest with difficulty. It’s only when she trips and nearly flings the box onto the man that she realizes he’d even said something to her.
"Sorry," Connie blurts quickly, attempting to stop the slow tumbling of books out of the pathetic excuse for a moving box. "I’m in my own world today, thank you so much for offering.." She bends down to repackage the literary avalanche, hand halfway back to the box when Connie realizes that she’s been rude again and assumed.
"If that was an offer, even…"
"Oh.. That’s cool. Must’a been an interesting childhood."
Connie let herself stay quiet for a few tens of steps, usually she’d be asking questions left and right, letting herself get to know a person, but she supposed that his family was some sort of sore spot for him… If they weren’t a sore spot, he just didn’t talk about them much and Connie didn’t want to make him uncomfortable.
"About the egos, I know the editor in chief of the New York Times, so I understand where you’re comin’ from there. I mean - just ‘cause there are countless girls walking around the office in high heels and tight skirts doesn’t mean that he’s allowed to chase them for fun and drop them when he gets bored. He can practically buy normal women, and that’s just sad!"
She stopped abruptly at the corner of her street. “Sorry, I’ve been known to rant a bit when I’m provoked.” Connie shifted on the balls of her feet, high heels making her heels sore. “And by provoked I obviously mean by the mention of the big shots in this town who would rather make themselves ‘better’i than give to others.”
"There was nothing strikingly interesting about it." He admitted, "Though I suppose those who didn't live it may find it so."
Raul respectfully let the silence fall between the two. The talk of childhoods and family was a topic he liked to avoid. The less he gave out, the better it would be. He'd already encountered several people who tried to look up him up. It was very uncomfortable to be approached and asked if he was a secret agent of some sort.
"Normal?" Came the inquiry. He knew where his company was coming from, but he disagreed with her choice of words. Though, he supposed, not everyone was constantly analysing their speech. Instead, Raul shook his head and stopped beside her. "No need to apologize. You've caused me no offence. In fact, I agree with your standpoint. I've always wondered what it was about money that transformed a person. Did you work with these 'big shots'?"
His curiosity was getting the better of him. Maybe this was information she wouldn't want to share.

Similar Landings
No. A simple thought with repercussions he hadn’t thought through and a list as long as his arms as to how it had all gone wrong. The TARDIS sparks once more, and he can’t help but yell, one foot on the brake, his hands flailing as they try to steer and direct all at once. The monitor blares, and the ship groans at his futile responses. She had had enough mistreatment, and soon her gears begin to grind and she begins to land. He thanks his stars, but holds onto his position, like it was helping in some mystical way, when he’s thrown back in a stuttering halt by the machine.
They’d landed, or so he hoped.
His groan of pain comes soon after that thought and he sits up, the once grated ground having etched itself into his back. So much for Barcelona. Long legs stretch and he checks his fingers for damage. Once he’s sure he’s in one piece, he sits up, looks about and the flinches at the angry sparks that mean it’s time for him to take his leave. He’s on his feet, fingers gingerly brushing the console, but the TARDIS is too cross to take into consideration his silent apology and he walks up the ramp, the wooden door feeling heavenly beneath his fingers as he steps through it…
Only to come face to face with a man, on a street, and a smoking police box right behind him. The doors slam shut and he blinks, lips parting and his brain short circuiting as he manages to speak.
"This… This is one of those completely explainable things, just give us a mo’."
It was something. It was close and coming in fast. Alarm shot through Raul as a strange wind picked up and his heart kicked at the idea of encountering something new. No matter how old he was in terms of mankind, he knew he would never exist long enough to encounter everything the universes had to share. And if he did, then he’d be damned for doubting it. It pleased him that the little voice in his head, telling him to stay, was not wrong.
Moments before the chaotic landing of the TARDIS was made, the man took a step back. Luckily he did since the blue police box materialized a mere two feet from him. The wood groaned and hissed as pillars of smoke rising to the clouds. What made this box intriguing to Raul- aside from the fact it nearly crushed him- was the flash of the space-time continuum that twisted like a vortex in its path. He couldn’t take his eyes off of it. Just above the box’s light, it flickered as the last trace of it receded like a wave. How peculiar. Somehow, whatever was in front of him had been created not only to travel through space, but time as well. Raul knew he was not mistake in the tendrils he saw. Now what race would have the culture and intellect to accomplish an invention like this?
A disgruntled man opened up the doors, stared Raul in the face with what he registered as shock, and spoke. It caused Raul to tilt his head to the side as he inspected the man. Questions rose but he elected to hold off on them until they had established mild familiarity with one another.
“I would hope so. But starting at the basics would help… what is that box?”

"If that was an offer, even…"
"Yeah. Not necessarily new, per say, just different. A place on my own, rather than with my college roommates whom I’ve been stuck with since we graduated." An amused smile crossed her face as they started off towards her apartment. Connie walked with an air of unease, her thumbs stuck in her jacket pockets and her steps larger than usual.
"Nice to meet you, Raul. I didn’t know that people other than cheesy celebrities still hired limos." It was meant to be a joke, or at least she’d hoped that it would be funny. Connie wasn’t too sure about this man just yet. If taxi drivers in New York City were shady, then surely limousine drivers would be a step up. How much of a gap between the two was yet to be discovered.
"Are you Danish? If you don’t mind me asking…"
He let out a breathy laugh and nodded his head in agreement. "You would be surprised with the clients my company attracts. People who need to boost their egos by toss their money at expensive car rides. But who am I to judge if it makes them feel good about themselves?" It was a common sight to watch people with money spend large portions readily on themselves needlessly before they'd ever give to the poor. It was a pity considering those on the bottom were usually there because of the very people Raul drove around.
At Connie's innocent question, Raul went quiet. Of course she would be curious about his accent, it was different than any you'd hear in America. After collecting an appropriate response to her question, he shifted the box in his grasp and spoke, "My father was Danish but I grew up in Norway where my mother was born."
Duality at Trinity
It was a marvel to experience. Trinity, as the three suns of Scarlet IV were called, would be lined up in perfect synchronization in 18 minutes Earth time. This spectacle only occurred once every couple of millenniums. Of course, to many, Trinity was a spiritual event that marked when the realm of the gods touched that of the mortal world. It worked wonders for the planet's tourism since people of all races and galaxies were drawn to it like light would attract a fly.
There would be traditional dancing, food, activities, and of course, everyone's favourite but hidden, drugs. All seven of the scarlet planets were known for their native elements that caused just the right kind of buzz. In more primitive times, these various elements were used to 'see the gods'. There was no doubt that tonight would uncover that long lost tradition..
But that wasn't any concern of Raul's. The man walked up the red cobble steps of the city's centre and observed the events for himself. The air was high with energy and excitement. Green, six limbed creatures entertained the planet's guests through dance; children were eating questionable pieces of fruit and meat on a stick, thick with a shiny coat of candy gloss; and merchants were bordering the premises, trapping all in the massive centre to buy their religious goods or be 'disappointed you went without'.
Raul was merely here to observe and leave. He would take a look at some trinkets many claimed could channel the gods' energy and read up on them later. Though he didn't fit in to most cultures, he was certainly interested in learning about them.

Parked outside a hotel in New York, Raul leaned his head back on the seat, pondering what he should do for the three hour wait until his clients would need him once more. They had excused him, told him to make his time alone worth while. What did that entail? He supposed he could drive the limo to a secluded area, get out, and make one of his trips. It's not like he would be late.. Raul wasn't the type of person to be late unless it was intentional. Or a mistake.
Putting the vehicle in drive, he took it down a few blocks before pulling into an alley and moving the joystick to park. Taking a moment, he soon got out and flattened the wrinkles on his black suit before he began to walk. He had made the decision to check up one of his friends but something had kept him in place.
WIth narrowed eyes, Raul walked down the street. An instinctual feeling told him something interesting was about to occur and he didn't want to risk missing it. And so he walked, watching and waiting for any clue that the itching feeling in his body was not mistaken.

"If that was an offer, even…"
Relief washed over her. Connie was truly thankful for his help, it seemed she’d underestimated the weight of novels - no she hadn’t, she just didn’t want to make two trips - when she’d packed up her old apartment the night before.
"No, not far anymore. A few blocks down that way, then a…. Right I think. I’m just moving into a new apartment building, so the directions are still hazy, but there!" Connie laughed nervously, suddenly aware that in her four years of living in New York she’d never been approached by a stranger if she was struggling.
And considering the amount of time it took for such an occurance, Connie wasn’t so sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing.
"Sorry, I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Connie Oswin."
Raul was quick to pick up her tone. There was no surprise that a girl all by herself would become anxious when a man approached, inviting himself into her life even if his intentions were not ill- especially in a city like this. But his interest to help was genuine. It always amazed him how people could walk past a situation where another was in obvious need; they wouldn’t even blink an eye of acknowledgement. However, Raul was accustomed to such actions. Didn’t he do the same from time to time?
"Ah, needed a new beginning? I can relate." After the two had placed all books back into their temporary place, Raul lifted the box into his arms and rose. "It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Connie. My name’s Raul Jorgensen."
With that out of the way, he began to walk slowly in the direction she had indicated. He was already quite interested in her tastes- he had spotted several plays and old novels that he had read over and adored. Did she love the arts as much as himself? Would it be inappropriate for him to ask? Maybe it would appear less predatory if he gave some information about himself before asking about her.
"I’m chauffeuring a couple of CEOs for the Times for the next week or so and then it’s back to LA for me. I never thought getting into the limousine business would require so much travel but I’m glad it does. Maybe I just got lucky."

As the item at hand lurched in his direction, causing books and papers to rain onto him, Raul reached out a hand in an attempt to steady the too-big-for-Connie box. He knelt along with her, setting the box flat on the ground while assisting in packaging it back up.
Raising his eyes to observe her, he couldn’t stop the smile that formed on his mouth. She seemed to be flustered for whatever reason. Was she late for something? ”It was indeed an offer. Do you have far to go? I could carry this box for you if you’d like.”
