It is really, really funny that the new Spider-man movie decided to solve the "why is this one vigilante kid the only person in a world of superheroes tackling this threat" problem by stating that it's because Yelena Belova is currently in charge of deciding what rises to an Avengers-level threat and she mostly decides based on vibes. i think when Frank says ‘you look exactly how I thought you would. nice kid.’ It’s because he’s been picturing his own son who would’ve been close to peter’s age by then, and Frank would’ve been so proud to have a son like him papa frank you are real to me

Also I really like how they had Peter apologize for kissing MJ, like in that specific situation there's not really any way he could have known it was all a ruse, but its still really nice that they had him explicitly apologize onscreen for violating her boundaries

I love how in Daredevil, Frank Castle is like this intimidating guy who's a well matched threat to the hero but in Spiderman he's still the same character but Peter just... does not treat him with the same amount of gravity. He webs Frank's mouth shut for swearing and tells him to go home after breaking his van. He argues with the man who's whole deal is he has a lot of weapons and WILL use them like two New Yorkers who got into a fender bender. Peter Parker and Frank Castle see each other coming and they both go "This fucking guy again." I love it.
