☆Hi everyone☆

I'm a 20 yo nerd from Italy (you'll forgive me all the spelling mistakes in this blog, right?) who shares here her multiple passions. I mostly talk about comics, anime & manga, tv shows and movies, but I'm also passionate about Formula 1 (and motorsport in general), dance and figure skating, so you'll find posts about those stuff too with their proper tags!

I've been having tons of fanfic ideas these days but have very little time to write (I'm studying for my C1 English exam that I'll take at the end of July – send help!)

Plus, it doesn’t help that now that I've graduated from college I have to actually decide what the heck I wanna do with my life before September and I feel paralysed in everything I do, but that's not the point of this post!

The point is that today I woke up thinking about sskk. Specifically, a sskk fic where an ability user has the power to show a snippet of the future of the person they touch (pretend you don't see a correlation with my current life situation pls) and... you know where this is going, don't you?

Basically Akutagawa and Atsushi find themselves inside a random moment of their respective future (to them it's kinda like watching a movie) but... they're together? Why is that so? Oh well, because they actually are going to share their future – but they don’t know yet! And chaos ensues as they keep going back and forth between fighting the ability user in the present and having to witness the most unbelievable, terryfing version of future they could imagine where your archenemy apparently lives with you and invades your personal space 24/7 and many, many other awkward things happen.

It's the most challenging, exhausting, energy–draining fight they've ever had. And they mutually agree NOT to talk about it ever again – well they probably will, in about 5 or 6 years when the future they accidentally got a preview of becomes, much to their surprise, their actual present... but they'll deny it all as long as they can, of course.

Must-said sentences include:

-- "What the hell are you doing in my future, weretiger?"

"What are YOU doing in mine??" --

-- "You're too close. Get off of me immediately."

"That isn't ME!"

"Your foolish future self is doing... something to my future self–"

"AGAINST MY WILL!" --

Look I don't think Supergirl (2026) is secretly a perfect masterpiece or anything (I personally thought it was like. a 6/10 fun time) but I do think it's wild that Tumblr isn't going crazy for it because this Kara is one coattailed suit away from being a Tumblr sexyman. she is the flawed messy female character people have supposedly been clamouring for. she's the popular archetype of a gruff self-destructive alcoholic middle-aged man begrudgingly having to look after a kid and growing fond of them but genderswapped and also 23. she's allowed to be visibly messy and kind of gross and her hair is constantly all over the place and she literally cries, screams, throws up, and pisses onscreen. she's caustic and mean and puts up an act of carelessness but has a heart of gold. she's heavily traumatised and coping with it terribly. if anything happens to her dog she will kill everyone in this room and then herself. she spends most of the movie in a trench coat and baggy band T-shirt. she gets into bar brawls and breaks a guy's hand. she is Going Through It 24/7 and looks the part. she stabs a guy in the throat. how is everyone else not obsessed with her.

This morning I caught myself singing Champagne Supernova and obviously I couldn't help but think about PHM, and then I remembered that the song IS actually in the movie when the end credits roll and suddenly I'm pissed again! Because not only had I found about the song AFTER I'd watched the movie (I was an emotional mess and too overwhelmed to notice that an orchestral version of one of my favorite songs was currently playing as I was staring at the screen laughing crying... yeah) but I ALSO didn't catch it the second time I watched it in theatre because I was too busy commenting the final scene with my friends and when I remembered about the song it was already over!!! So pissed I swear

I just love how Supergirl isn't really about the revenge or the dog or anything that goes on at all. Its about two grieving girls trying to keep going in diffrent ways and teaching each other how to survive with the weight of it all while also inspiring each other to be better people. Its about not letting your past overtake your future. Its about prioritizing yourself instead of being fuled by your trauma. Its about being good no matter what.

Can we talk about how incredibly funny is to rediscover cartoons you used to watch when you were 10 in your 20s and actually get into them as fandoms? I'm having a blast, truly.

Am I the only one here who gets watery eyes just THINKING about that masterpiece called Spirit? No cause seriously, I was talking with a friend of mine and we were saying that we haven't seen that movie in forever because every single damn time we watch it we cry like babies and I googled it to check when it came out and the frame with Spirit and the eagle popped out and I low-key got emotional!!! Like I could hear the music and Spirit's voice and the eagle screaming just looking at that frame (bc I obviously know the movie by heart)... like people who haven't seen it DO NOT UNDERSTAND, if you grew up with that movie it has you in an emotional chokehold for your entire life. It's rooted in your soul. It's everything.
