The beauty industry really is just a direct pipeline of cash going from women’s wallets to men’s pockets. Men create beauty standards for women, then make women pay out their own hard earned cash to live up to the beauty standards men create.

it’s really cruel when a woman is acting excited that her boyfriend or husband or even just a guy friend did something that was actively feminist & people are like “the bar is literally so low” “YES all men EVEN your boyfriend” “don’t hand out cookies” etc. like a woman should be able to express joy and frankly relief over this type of thing without you assuming she’s making a political statement about how actually men are all good people.
