What's next
For the past two or three weeks i have been considering what is next for me. Currently I have been with the same company for three years. I am in position i would never be in if it wasn't for this company or friend. I have earned my position for being hungry and wanting to show my ambition. Hopefully, it hasn't been from my friendship with my friend that has given me this. I think it has been me seeing opportunities and grabbing them. Right now, i feel there are better opportunities out there for me. I can't be complacent for a year or two. I preach patience. But i don't think have it anymore. I've been told, you never know in a year or two there could be something for you. I want to prove myself now. I know there's more it out there where i can prove my POTENTIAL. Let me get one thing straight, I hate that word. I know what I have, I know I have more than potential. It's the outside view that thinks I have potential because that's what the meaning of potential is. They think that you have it in you to do a particular job or skill. I just answered my own question

In one word, this song is: Potent.
A mix I put together on 8tracks of remixes, instrumentals, and all out smooth, chill music.
Time travel through this new song from newcomer, Jimi Charles Moody. It is straight blues/jazz that is timeless.

Elliot Moss [Slip - Hippie Sabotage Remix] Dang! Hippie Sabotage seem to knock everything out of the park on their remixes. They don't let this one "Slip" through their hands and handle it extremely well. "Slip" has been transformed into a bouncy, energetic song with the bass and the claps.
Made In Heights [Ghosts] This new song by Made In Heights will have you screaming like some "Ghosts". OK, not really but you will still dig this new jam from them. The title fits perfectly with Halloween coming up. It is a fast paced, trap beat that doesn't lap the singer's voice. I kinda want to be a ghost now for Halloween because of this song, lol.
This is the debut single from a duo group out of Minneapolis named SideVValks. Their debut single shows us that they are not playing any "Games". It is very fresh and gets you in the right vibe for the weekend. I can't wait to hear more these guys.
Here are 13 tracks that I put together. I figured I would do something to catch people up on the music that I have forgotten to post! It is mostly relaxing with some chillwave, electronic and even some trap to get you ready for the new fall season!
Alanis Morissette [You Gotta Go (Ayah Marar Rework)] A little flashback to the 90's on this one. A young British songstress, Ayah Marar, has her own version of Alanis Morrissette's hit, "You Gotta Go". The thing is, no one knows who is behind the production of this rework. It is a completely different sound compared to the original. With the a thumping bass line in the background the entire time, this new version is a great progressive house hit.
Wayward [Belize] If you want another song for the summertime, look no further than Wayward and the duo's track called "Belize". It's easy to fall for this smooth, piano laden house record. Plus the vocals of the songstress add another warm element to it.
Lana Del Rey [West Coast Munk Remix] This is flat out the best remix of 'West Coast' I have heard yet. It will be hard to beat. Enjoy a new and easy beat for one of Lana's stand out records on "Ultraviolence".
Baby Queens [Red Light] This is a beautiful song that makes you stop and look at life. The singer's voice fits perfect with the simple, chill beat. Then the group has the ability to switch it up when a guy comes and spits a quick rap verse that adds another dynamic to the song.
Ed Sheeran [Bloodstream] This is one of my favorite tracks off of his sophmore album, 'x'. Sheeran has really projected himself as someone in the spotlight rather than working behind the scenes. Be sure to grab his new album as it was released last week!
