Welcome to PositivelyTolkien, a blog made by tolkien roleplayers for the tolkien roleplay community. The main purpose of PositivelyTolkien is to spread positivity across the dashboard by sharing what you, the roleplayers, think of other roleplayers! Here is a list of all the things we provide: POSITIVITY: Shout outs, recommendations, or just plain gushing. All encouragement and promotion of roleplayers within the Tolkien community sent in will be posted! FRIENDLY REMINDERS: Just some kind little messages for roleplayers to come across as they scroll. This may be reminders to drink water, be sure to eat, have a nice day, stretch your muscles, or break away for a moment to just relax! PROMOS: Sometimes it’s really hard to reach out to the community, but don’t worry! We’re here to help! Just link us to your promos or ask us to promote you and we’ll gladly do it! MASTERLIST: while spreading positivity throughout the fandom, we’re hoping to gather all the tolkien roleplayers in one place and make you all easier to find for each other! However, We do have some rules that we need to speak about in order to make everyone’s experience here as comfortable as possible: POSITIVITY: We only accept positivity meant for roleplay blogs within the Tolkien roleplay community. We will not turn away any positive remarks about ANY tolkien roleplay blog. Do not ask for us to refrain from posting positivity for a specific blog. That’s just not nice. We do not post positivity stating that ‘X’ is the best ‘Y’ roleplayer. Or ‘X’ does the best portrayal of ‘Y’. These sort of messages are very discouraging and can easily hurt another roleplayers feelings. We insist you use your favorite, instead. As a continuation of the previous rule, we will never post any messages that purposely put another roleplayer down. We’re a positivity blog! All messages will be posted anonymously! GENERAL: Obviously, we wont accept hate in any fashion. Period. Our submit is open to those who cannot fit their positivity or questions into the askbox. Be polite and use this wisely. Please don’t pester us to post faster. We’re only human after all. If you are curious on whether or not your message sent, feel free to IM us! But remember to be patient. And that is just about it! If you have any further questions feel free to send them in.

@vezely has been a staple across all of my accounts' dashboards. She's such a wonderfully fleshed out character whose story's very obviously the fruit of much thought and effort spent. Watching her go through her developments through the centuries of her lifetime's proven an absolute marvel to behold to me as a reader and roleplay partner — and I'm proud to have been able to play some part in that. Not to mention, Vezely's mun is a joy to plot and chat with!
@tearfulmaiden is such a talented writer! All her verses are so well thought out and detailed. Nienor is captivating ( and also super cute ) and imo unique while being true to the limited canon.<3
for @bydoommastered; ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A BEAN!!! I love this mun and muse with all my heart! We've been friends for many years now and our characters just mesh together in this wonderful, dysfunctional way. Turin is such an amazing little ball-of-fluff and I can't wait to see what they do with each and every post! It's wonderful how you can have this doom-baby be so nonchalant, yet so loving and caring once you get to know him <3
for @artaresto; all hail the sass queen! It's such a riot watching them interact with their family members, canonically or just crack! I can't help but get a big grin on my face when I see the shenanigans run onto my dash! Though even in serious roleplays between the muse and other characters are fantastic! For @wxxpingkxng / @rxlxctxntkxng; This mun and their muses are so wonderful! The many AUs that we've discussed and actually interacted in have brought me great joy through the time we've been together! Though I've mainly interacted with their Bard, their thranduil is quite the character as well! I can't wait to see what the future holds!
@mikhailvalhidris Wow oh wow! The many things I could say about this lovely mun and her muse <3 Mikhail is one of the loveliest and kindest OCs I’ve ever interacted with! Though shy and quiet at first, if you really get to know him, he becomes a feisty, lovable bean that I just want to hug and squeeze and love on all day! I’m so proud to have them as my role play partner, and most of all friend! The mun is the cutest and has helped me immensely through our years of friendship!
@edhelaran writes a FANTASTIC thranduil! he feels real and rounded, and his personality is never compromised on! it’s amazing to write with the mun, and watching their threads is always a joy <3
@kili-of-erebor is one of the sweetest Kili roleplayers out there. I love seeing them on my dash and to be honest, they are one of the most amazing writers I have ever seen. I can really hear Kili in their words. 10/10 would recommend.
@fatecarrier is such a fantastic Frodo who I absolutely love, and who deserves all the love! not only for being an amazing Frodo, a talented writer, and having such wonderful headcanons, but also for being a total sweetheart and doing so much for the tolkien rpc community.
@prxnceling has such a unique portrayal of Legolas, I really love it. So fresh and unique, and the ability to change the parts of him and his personality that need to change to fit that AU background are definitely changed and suit it, but other parts of him and his personality keep him enough at his core that it's definitely still Legolas and not a completely different character. That can be a hard balance to strike and I'm so impressed with this Legolas!
I love how much @riiverdaughter loves Goldberry! she's such a wonderful, underrated character, and I love seeing her getting love. welcome back to the fandom, we're so glad to have you!
@galwechil has this incredible ability to seem so agelessly old and wise in every one of Elrond's posts, it's amazing. are you actually an Elf? how do you do that! everything they write flows so beautifully, it's an absolute delight to read.
Is there a masterlist for characters outside of the fandom yet have a tolkien verse?
as of right now, positivelytolkien doesn’t have one. however! if you guys would like that, i’d be willing to set up a masterlist for muses outside of tolkien that have a tolkien verse!
@mincepiesandmusic is such a lovely Bofur, and I really love the way that it's so evident in all of their writing what Bofur is thinking and feeling at any given time. It's a really nice insight to their muse, and makes their writing so rich.
