Just heard someone say "RIP my car" and honeslty that's syntsctically kinda intetesting. Is "RIP" here identicsl in function to "fuck" (as in "fuck my car") and "thank" (as in "thank my car")? Those two words are verbs, has "RIP" become a verb? Can you say "I RIP:ed my car"? I've nver heard someone say that. Is "my car" here a subject, or simply an adressee, as in "Rest in piece, (said to) my car"?

This artwork was found floating in front of a stone wall near the Emptied Palace in Totlokhashae shortfly after the disaster. The language has been identified as Proto-Tlomahan, though it is unknown how someone in the palace could had any knowledge of Proto-Tlomahan, as the Emptying predates any attempt at linguistic reconstruction by approximately 200 years. The words read:

Remember not who lived here

Attempt not to find out

Think only of she who came from a place we always knew

Where the unfettered mind watches the world dream

Only she matters

Only our Queen

May she find you as well

It is unknown what the meaning of any part of this is, but presumably it relates to the Emptying in some way.

In Proto-Tlomahan, the words are:

Khorau mi shishie latta ya

Mavou mi tlishe kha

Eshau koma ta khia nu rea khea mada so

Tlomalai sishe kho ava khatte mada

Ta koma imi ya

Nu yo khairomi koma

For example, "i speak" is [doˈwuːb] and "you speak" is [doˈwuːrxɪ], which I romanize as <dowūb> and <dowūrxi>. But "I speak Qūbhun" and "You speak Qūbhun" are not [doˈwuːb ˈquːbʱʊn] and [doˈwuːrxɪ ˈquːbʱʊdβa] as might be expected (don't worry about the -dβa suffix) but are rather pronounced as [doˈwuːʔˈɢuːbʱʊn] and [doˈwuːrxε ˈquːbʱʊdβa]. So.... should I romanize these as <dowūb qūbhun> and <dowūrxi qūbhudva> or as <dowūʔ ġūbhun> and <dowūrxe qūbhudva>?
