hello! i'm back with a greatly reduced muse list (but anyone on this blog is still available by request only!) and a super lowkey private blog! i've been back on obi-wan (lightendures) for a little while now so i think it may just stick lollol

obi-wan sighs, reluctantly. he knows that bail is right — knows that he should just listen to him. but something in obi-wan finds it hard to be taken care of. he should be doing something, not just sitting and waiting. but he knows the man before him is just as stubborn, so he relents.

“alright, alright.” he says, taking a seat at the counter. “i’ll sit. are you happy now?” he teases, holding his hands up in surrender. his wounds aren’t all that bad — not by his definition, anyway. he’s been hurt worse, but he won’t lie… he is tired. he was going to give it a try — let himself be taken care of. “what are you making?” he asks, curiosity winning out.

she was just getting used to life with clarke again .. not allowing herself to feel how much she had missed her when she had been hidden away in her cell. the minute she saw her in the dropship though, caught a sight of blonde curls and worried blue eyes and it was clarke, down the aisle from her. clarke though hadn't noticed her until they had hit the ground, until nina had all but launched herself at all, needing to feel the brush of hair against her cheek, needing familiar arms wrapped so tight around her it made her chest ache.

now ? now clarke was gone again and nina was trying to be okay with it, but god she missed her best friend, missed her other half with a vicious throb in her heart, the heart that had given up on her, the heart that had brought her back .. she had never even told clarke that, not because their hadn't been time between their rescue and her attack on kane .. but because clarke needed to go and nina had to let her ..

" oh, hey, " nina hadn't even heard bellamy's footsteps approaching her, but his voice was so familiar, so welcome she didn't even feel the urge to flinch. he looked like hell, looked about as bad as she expected .. she wished there was something, anything, she could do for him because she was failing him, failing clarke so, she pulled up what she hoped was a convincing and reassuring smile, " i'm .. i'm doing okay. thanks for checking on me, "

she doesn't ask after him, and he's glad. or at least, what part of him that retains that ability is. most of him is too fucking tired to feel much of anything at all, but he hates the way they all look at him, ask after him like he's the one bloodied and beaten. like he deserves that, after what he and clarke had done to the people who'd helped them. he shifts, leans against the doorframe.

" listen, nina. " gaze drops to the floor, jaw tight. the subject of clarke is near-tangible, heavy and unspoken in the air between them. not for the first time, anger thrums low in his gut. or maybe it's hurt. he doesn't know whether to feel pissed or -- left.

" i tried to talk her out of it. i'm sorry. " and then he seems to run out of words. he'd thought to say more, but what else is there?

Willow’s never really been a good shot. Since she and Kenny parted ways she’s had a little practice with the gun he left her, but in the heat of the moment it means sweet fuck-all. It got to her before she could even draw her gun. Runners are fast. Faster than the slow kind she’s used to back where she’s based. They move differently, the more you travel.

The people, though, they’re aways as hostile as she remembers them to be. Panting on the floor, Willow raises her hands in surrender.

“—No bites. Look.” She pulls her sleeves up, hands shaking, to reveal only bruises. Skin in tact. No blood. “I’m clean.”

ellie's gaze settles on the girl's hands -- it's true. no bites, or at least not that she can do. an ounce of tension leaves her taut frame, the gun shifting a fraction, but it doesn't lower yet. her eyes shift to the treeline, searching for movement among the brush.

" are there more of you? " jackson isn't unwelcoming to strangers; cautious, certainly, but not hostile. sometimes ellie struggles with that. so often in her life, people have proven unable to be trusted.

she watches him, and he holds her gaze. maybe he's making a mistake, but time will tell -- and they do need more able-bodied people for patrol. that isn't a lie. clearly, she can handle herself, or will be able to once her strength is back up -- if she wanted to, she could be an asset to them.

jesse doesn't know what had happened in california; only the stilted yet horrific bits and pieces that had been dragged from ellie, and that's 'enough. he doesn't want to know more. " when medical clears you for patrol, find me, " he says, " and i'll fit you in. you good with horses? "
