I'm a musician, writer, and artist, and if I feel like it I may end up posting some of my original content on this blog (as well as my main).
This blog will be MOSTLY TF2, since that's the entry in the series everyone knows, but if I happen to find any content from the other games that I like, I'll probably reblog them to here.
I'm also gonna post, like, headcanons as well as things pertaining to my RP sideblogs, @mostlypracticalengineering, @slaughterhousebrothers, @icecoldinventing, @godsgreatestrocketman. Because I can. Cope and seethe.

I'm mid practice session on my trombone as I write this and I keep crashing out because I keep missing the same note
and I just think that, using my own experience, this is the experience Soldier TF2 has whenever he tries to actually play something on this bitchass instrument every once in a blue moon

made a little arrangement of one of my favorite TF2 tracks in FamiStudio. Currently working on another arrangement of More Gun that I may or may not post, but this one is getting posted because it was short, simple and relatively easy lol
I play a lot of Soldier whenever I'm not playing Engie (because haha funny blow things up) and I've noticed a trend where 4 out of 5 Pyros I come across hit me with the useless airblast as soon as they see me, right as I switch to my shotgun and fill them full of lead
either bc they expect me to forget I have a secondary or bc they don't notice that I don't have a banner equipped or it just doesn't occur to them that I'd actually use a shotgun
and it's really funny but also I fear I do the exact same thing the very second I hop on Pyro so I can't even talk that much
Hello! This is a list of my TF2 RP blogs! Don't be shocked if you see stuff in here that's inaccurate about the canonical characters. Think of them as AU variants.
Feel free to harass 'em if you want. I might make a separate post for some other non-blog characters that I've characterized, who knows.
NAME: Dell Conagher
BLOG: @mostlypracticalengineering
INFORMATION: The original RED Engineer. Relatively similar to canon. A bit more sadistic, he's picked up a few hobbies to engage in from his older brothers, Zed and Maynard. He enjoys a good chat, and, as long as you don't give him a reason to do otherwise, he'll leave you be and might even offer you a drink.
Enjoys playing the guitar and talking about his buildings. Dislikes his buildings getting destroyed, people that piss him off, and people that don't treat their teammates right.
NAME: Mister Jane Doe
BLOG: @godsgreatestrocketman
INFORMATION: The original RED Soldier. Relatively similar to canon. Ever-so-slightly more sane, the Soldier is at least aware enough to know what's going on at any given moment – even if it is at about the same rate as a kindergartener. Best handled the same way you'd handle a hyperactive toddler if you want to prevent as much damage as possible.
Enjoys the American Spirit, fighting the war, and playing his bugle and trombone – ask him to play a solo, maybe you'll get lucky enough to hear some fine playing! Dislikes people that aren't patriotic enough and pretty much anybody he decides is worth the effort of disliking.
NAMES: Zed Conagher, Maynard Conagher

INFORMATION (ZED): The oldest of the Conagher brothers, Zed is a highly volatile and aggressive Engineer, formerly working for the RED team. As of present day, he co-owns the family slaughterhouse alongside Maynard. He's clever and sadistic, and enjoys nothing more than putting those that irritate him in their place. Rather protective of his younger brothers, though he certainly doesn't have an issue with socking Maynard in the face if need be.
Enjoys smoking, engineering, and general torment. Dislikes people that are just slightly too annoying, people that stick their nose where they don't belong, and any disparaging words about his family.
INFORMATION (MAYNARD): The middle child, Maynard is your average "forgotten sibling", formerly an Engineer for the BLU team. As of present day, he co-owns the family slaughterhouse alongside Zed. Equally as clever as the rest of his family, he partakes in the same activities as his brothers, though he rarely gets a chance to have any fun due to Zed never giving him the time of day. Despite the way the two bicker, Maynard enjoys his brother's presence, and enjoys the work they do together.
Enjoys drinking, general torment, engineering, and playing the piano – he's quite proficient at composing as well as playing. Dislikes his brother hogging the spotlight, disparaging words about his brothers, and shitty beer.
NAME: Jedediah (Jed)
BLOG: @icecoldinventing
INFORMATION: A clone of Dell Conagher. Works as an Engineer for the BLU team. Missing a portion of his left leg due to an error in the cloning process, which he has accounted for with a prosthetic of his own design. Extremely intelligent, Jed can throw machines and buildings together in just about the same way Dell can. Presents with severe anxiety and PTSD due to several nasty encounters with the three Conagher brothers, as well as a few with the RED Medic. Very sweet and kind if you can get him to open up. Has relatively poor vision due to being attacked by Dell on the occasion of a failed infiltration of the RED base, resulting in him staying near his machines more. Despite this, he seems to be just fine at defending himself if need be. Very prone to stints of flashbacks and periods of mumbling to himself about things that have happened to him.
Enjoys pleasant conversation, a cold drink, playing the guitar and banjo, and hovering around his BLU Medic. Dislikes anybody that wears RED, people mentioning his similarities to Dell, and really just anything and anyone he perceives as a threat.
Decided to make a little post for my BLU Engie! Isn't he such a cutie?
I might make a blog for him at some point, who knows.

FULL NAME: [REDACTED]
AKA: Jed
INFORMATION: A BLU Engineer. A clone of RED Engineer, Dell Conagher, he has since named himself "Jed" and refuses to answer to anything else. An error in the cloning process resulted in him coming out missing his left leg below the knee, which he promptly replaced with a prosthesis of his own design, demonstrating that he possesses the same mechanical knowledge as the RED Engineer.
Jed is much mellower than the RED that he was cloned from, and seems to show almost zero interest in the sadistic hobbies which the RED Engineer is prone to participating in. He's very sweet outside of missions and will often offer you a drink or a song on his guitar, but he is shown to be severely anxious, or perhaps even frightened, around those not on his team.
Whether this is due to pre-existing paranoia or due to previous encounters with certain other parties – namely the Conagher Brothers – is unknown.
Interestingly, after an event involving Jed and the RED Engineer, Jed's vision was heavily impacted. He has described it as difficult to focus, and he has stated that he often grows dizzy or nauseous from how blurry and doubled it can be. This seems to have virtually zero effect on his performance in a mission – it is likely that the muscle memory simply takes over. As a result of his poor vision, he can often be found lurking near his buildings.
He WILL speak to those not on the BLU team, but he appears to behave incredibly avoidantly, often offering only one-word responses in hopes they will leave him alone. Interactions with the RED team are especially unproductive – interactions with RED Engineers and RED Medics in particular should be carried out with extreme caution. For unknown reasons, he seems to take comfort in Soldiers, regardless of team affiliation, though he does not know why. His teammate, the BLU Medic, is also noticably good at soothing him.
Occasionally, he can be found mumbling to himself about past encounters with RED team members. The mumblings are often about harm that has come to him, and they seem to accompany flashbacks.
Jed can generally interact with most to some extent, but attempts at socializing him with a RED Engineer have all caused some sort of total shutdown.
I know ur rp blogs said non selective but are you ok with doubles interacting... I wanted to Double (pun intended) check...
Especially if said doubles strey so heavily from canon they're basically new people... /pf
(This is more specifically aimed to the Dell and conagher twins blogs but I'm just really scared of interacting becuz hi what you characterize them so fucking well???)
o fuck I didn't even think about that! yeah doubles are 100% okay!! i find the concept of "doubles dni" a tiny bit silly so I say that anybody can interact with them as anybody!
and no I love it when people essentially make new characters from canon ones, it's awesome!

Most people assumed Dell Conagher was much tamer than his older siblings. He'd never stoop to their level of violence and lunacy.
The BLU Engineer, just wanting to gain an upper hand for his team, is the unfortunate soul that finds out just how untrue this is.

my liking for Helmet Party is actually a fair bit more recent. I saw exactly one (1) piece of fanart and I was like "actually yeah they SHOULD kiss" (because they totally should)
though ultimately I am a big fan of quite a few TF2 ships, except for SpyScout (for obvious reasons that I should not need to state here). There's other ones I don't like too ofc but I'm way too lazy to list out each and every single one I dislike, so if there's a specific one you want an opinion on, you'll just have to send in an ask about it lmao
good luck pulling any of this out of either of my RP blog characters though if you follow either of them btw. You can certainly use this knowledge for evil, and it might get a funny response out of them, but you'll probably never hear them straight up admit anything
