To fanfic writers or artists in the TF2 community!!!
There’s this game on Roblox to a great reference for when drawing the mercs in their base. Or for writing to help keep yourself consistent with the room placements. I love the way the whole map of both bases are done and the game did have a recent update too so it looks even better!
Just looking around the map is a great way to get a better understanding of the base and its surroundings if you have trouble with that. It’s very well modeled too. Though it has cannon rooms there also is fanmade rooms as well. So just keep in mind the map isn’t canon to the real TF2 in all ways.
Anyways I’ll put some images of the game below for if you just wanna take a quick look at the game. It’s such a great game with amazing environments but literally nobody plays…
Hey there!! I really wanted to participate in an October prompt list, but seeing as I've been really hooked on TF2 for this entire year, I figured it would be fun to do a TF2 themed list!!
If you participate, feel free to tag your posts w/ #tftober !!! I'd love to see what other people do <3 This list should be perfectly doable for any medium (art, writing, sfm, etc!)
Below the cut is a list of all the prompts with some extra flavor text/ideas! Things are kept vague in a typical drawing prompt fashion
DAY 1 - Main
Who's your main? Who do you play most often?
DAY 2 - Hats!
It's not called a glorified hat simulator for nothing! There's plenty of cosmetics at your fingertips in the game!
DAY 3 - Relationships
Everyone knows someone. Whether it's a family member, a friend, a lover, or even an arch nemesis!
DAY 4 - Pyrovision
Put on the goggles and take a look at things with a new perspective!
DAY 5 - Battlefield
Probably where a mercenary spends most of their time
DAY 6 - On Break
Battles don't rage on forever. You've gotta take a break eventually
DAY 7 - Offense
The front lines. The moving force
DAY 8 - Defense
The back lines. Makes sure nobody gets too far

DAY 19 - At home
Everyone comes from somewhere. Everyone has a home.
DAY 20 - Headshot
Looks like you stood a little bit too still.

DAY 22 - Australium
A divine and valued substance rarer than gold
DAY 23 - Administrator
There's more to a war than just the fighters

An inevitability of war
DAY 26 - Control Points
A constant back and fourth

DAY 29 - Ubercharge
A miracle of medicine
DAY 30 - Sentry
Sometimes the best way to get good aim is to not be the one aiming
DAY 31 - Scream Fortress

“[Sniper] said nothing as he extracted a thick brown cigarette from his front pocket, a lighter from the other, and lit himself a smoke…The pair stood in mutual silence, bathed in the flickering yellow cast of the porch lights.”
Nature Versus Mann Chapter 4 update! AO3 link.
In this chapter, Scout finds himself tormented by the threat of failing again. A strange man with blue eyes has been stalking them—he must be—and he’s losing his mind trying not to go insane. They talk, they bond, they bicker, but Scout can’t forget the burden of seeing what the others don’t seem to understand.
I FINALLY GET TO PUBLISH THIS RAAGHH and it is LONG. This is by far the beefiest chapter I’ve ever written for anything, ever. Such is the way of fixing my own pacing errors; live and learn. But I’m surprisingly proud of how it came out, considering how arduous the writing process was!
I’d say I have a story playlist brewing, but it’s honestly 90% the Eureka album by Mother Mother and like two other random indie alt songs.
So a bit over a year ago, I made a post about my headcanons around the mercs and their driving abilities. I figured it wouldn't hurt to do a new one! Only because I have been thinking about Scout and driving and decided okay the others can get updated too a bit. As a treat. Who knows, maybe I'll update some other old posts too.
Scout: A little known fact about Scout is that he knows how to hotwire a car. A logical assumption based on this knowledge would be that he can also drive a car. This assumption would be, in fact, false. One of his brothers had taught him how to hotwire, because you never know when you'll be in a tight spot and need to 'borrow' a car. He knows how to drive in the technical sense. He knows how to start a car, where the brakes and accelerator are, et cetera et cetera. But when he actually tries to drive, he's really bad at it.
I believe this is because Scout is small and agile, used to having a lot of flexible mobility. A car, in contrast, is a big metal machine that is very much not flexible. Once he's in a driver's seat, he loses all spatial awareness, and feels awkward and out of place. This is also why he can drive something like a motorcycle, because a motorcycle is small and 'agile' in comparison to a car. RIP Scout TF2 you would have loved Smart Cars. Anyways, in a really dire situation, he can technically drive. He's just really bad at it and is guaranteed to hit something. Traffic laws will be broken.
Soldier: Like Scout, Soldier is an abysmal driver. Unlike Scout, Soldier believes that he is actually a good driver. This makes him a much greater danger around any automobile. He has been known to steal the company van for undisclosed reasons, and it always comes back a little worse for wear. Sometimes when the van disappears, the car keys are still back in the garage where they're meant to be. Also unlike Scout, Soldier doesn't actually know how to operate a vehicle. He just pushes and pulls at things until the car moves forward.
Additionally, the only person who allows Soldier to ride shotgun with them is Demoman. Having Soldier as a passenger is only marginally less dangerous than having him as your driver. He's loud and disruptive, pushes buttons he probably shouldn't, and historically has caused most of the accidents where the driver was someone who actually knows how to drive.
Pyro: No one has seen Pyro drive, and they all assume Pyro can't drive, because they have no way of confirming Pyro can or cannot drive unless they put Pyro behind the wheel. Which is a scary idea in the scenario where Pyro cannot. But the truth is, Pyro not only can drive, but does drive.
It just so happens that by some weird law of the universe (cartoon logic), nobody has noticed this. Somehow, every time Pyro takes the company van out for whatever they want to go do, nobody has any reason to go into the garage and notice the missing vehicle, and nobody needs to find Pyro for anything.
Demoman: Demoman is probably one of the most average drivers of the bunch. He can drive perfectly fine, he obeys traffic laws, and he somehow gets by without any depth perception. However, he has to be in the sweet spot where he's had enough to drink to avoid withdrawal, but he hasn't had so much to drink that he's in a state of incompetence.
There's also the tiny issue that if he gets pulled over, he will automatically fail any breathalyzer test, no matter how much he's had to drink, because his body literally produces its own alcohol. So Demoman is rarely the driver for the full team when they have somewhere to be, and most of his driving is done on his own time.
Heavy: Heavy can drive, and Heavy will drive. But this does not mean that Heavy likes to drive. Because most vehicles are designed for puny baby men, and not giant men who can crush skulls in their fists. Having to be hunched over in a tiny driver's seat puts Heavy in a bad mood, and nobody likes when Heavy is in a bad mood. So he only drives when he absolutely has to, such as in cases where everyone else he is with is unable to drive, such as seen in Expiration Date, where he has to drive because he's with Scout and Soldier, who cannot.
Engineer: Engineer is all around good with vehicles. He knows everything about any automobile you could bring him, and if he doesn't, he'll just take it apart and find out. He can also drive just about anything, with perfect precision and skill. Being a tinkerer, he often takes the opportunity to 'operate' on whatever vehicle he has at his disposal.
This includes those that aren't even his, such as Spy's car. It however does not include Sniper's van, as his first and last attempt almost ended in bloodshed. Spy's car nearly went the same way, but upon seeing how much faster it could go with the upgrades, Spy decided to find it in his heart to forgive the labourer. Sniper was not so easily persuaded.
Medic: Medic never bothered to get a driver's license. It seemed like such a waste of time, to get something he would probably end up losing in the future anyways. If there's anything Medic has learned, it's that licenses are overrated bits of paper, and it's the actual skill that ultimately matters. He happily drives around in his makeshift ambulance, stocked with emergency equipment and small organ refrigerators.
If any police officer dares to pull him over and ask for his license and registration, well, who is he to say no to more free organs? Medic has also had a history of grand theft auto, a most notable example being when he stole a catering van with some doves from a wedding.
Sniper: Sniper feels most at home when he's on the road. He's lived in his van as long as he's had it, that being since he could drive. The van is practically his soulmate. However, there are times when he has to be away from her, such as when he's driving the company van for everyone else. He and Engie are the most common picks for driver, with Sniper being picked just a bit more often. He's especially comfortable driving large bulky vehicles. In another life, Sniper would have been well suited to the life of a professional truck driver.
Spy: Spy drives an extremely expensive cherry red convertible sports car that easily costs more than a house. The car also has the ability to turn invisible for a period of time, which comes in handy when you need to make a getaway. And of course, a broken speedometer, courtesy of Engineer. Spy also knows how to drive a motorcycle, drive a speedboat, and fly a helicopter, but these are skills he employs less often.
This is a repost from my TikTok, where I usually put these, but I might as well put this here. Remember this if the wording gets patronizing, because it is a lot harder to have civil analysis on that platform LOL
Spy, I think, has a lot of misogyny that goes quite unchecked by the fandom due to his relationship with scout’s mother. yes, he does love her to some extent, but there is also a lack of respect for women that he views as “unclassy” that we see in expiration date. Plus, I’d argue his relationship with Scoutma actually supports the whole misogynist argument, but we’ll get there when we get there.
voice line wise, spy doesn’t have nearly as many misogynistic quotes. the one notable one is “good lord, you fight like a woman!” when dominating a pyro. However, his misogyny is a lot more covert than most of the cast. He does not necessarily scream it out from the rooftops, but his actions show how he (SUBCONSCIOUSLY) sees women as lesser
In expiration date, when advising scout of how to engage with miss Pauling.
"im not one of your fried chicken tramps! im a WOMAN." He implies here that women who are interested in casual sex are inherently devalued, despite not treating men like scout or even himself to the same standard.
In “Meet The Spy”, he humiliates Scout by publicly showing off Polaroids of him and his mother’s sexual affairs to him and his colleagues. Later on, it is shown that he does have some sort of romantic affection in the short, but he still uses her and their relationship as a vehicle to embarrass and emasculate another man. Not only this, but keep in mind that he abandoned scout. He may love her, but by all means, he has done little in terms of actual help for all of his child’s developing years. He likely didn’t mean to hurt her, but he is still using the woman he left with a baby as a thing to humiliate him with.
Both in expiration date and MTS, he implies women with higher sex drives are lesser, and that women can be categorized into neat groups depending on it. It’s very indicative of the Madonna-Whore complex. In MTS, he uses sex with women, specifically someones mother, as a means to show superiority and "ownership" of someone elses property to humiliate them, rather than treating said woman with respect as his lover.
In the comic, he is cowardly when on the subject of acknowledging that he is Scout’s father. In the two times he has the ability to take accountability and be honest, he doesn’t. He instead disguises as Tom Jones and lies about simply being a friend of Scout’s. Though this may seem sort of an improvement, it just shows that spy still has issues with accountability and to get to, which I think applies a lot to his relationship with scout’s mother.
I want to be very clear when I say he does not hate scout’s mother. There is clearly some sort of love he’s got for her. But it is very telling that he uses those photos of her, a woman he holds closely, to humiliate another person with. He has very clear biases.
Here's a snippet of my script for an SFM short, as promised by my poll that I published 3 days ago (thank you to all who voted 💞). The short itself is called “Friendly Fire” (see what I did there? Hehe) and it heavily centers around Scout and Pyro, with minor appearances from the other mercenaries. This is my first time writing script/screenplay and I appreciate any feedback you can provide. Click “keep reading” to see it!
SYNOPSIS: After being forced to spend time with Pyro, Scout begins to realize that there's more to them than just bloodlust and pyromania.
DISCLAIMER: YOU DO NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO USE THIS WORK IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. ESPECIALLY IF IT INVOLVES AI. THANK YOU. (if reading it inspires you to write or draw something obviously that's fine lol)
Notes: This takes place only a few months or so into this era of the Gravel Wars, when the mercenaries are still getting to know one another. Some of them aren’t as friendly with one another yet, especially SCOUT and PYRO.
All of PYRO's lines will be unable to be understood by both the viewer and all of the mercenaries expect for ENGINEER. In the actual script, they do have lines, but those will remain a secret to the public. If anything involving voicing any of this comes out, maybe you'll be able to understand if you can decipher their mumbles ;)

SCOUT
Pssh, I don’t care when it was last looked at. If we’re done here, I’m leavin’.
SCOUT rests his bat on his shoulder and turns on his heel to leave the room. But just as SCOUT turns around, the metal doors suddenly slam shut, separating him and PYRO from the rest of the group. Both the alarm and the flashing red lights resume.
SCOUT and PYRO both step back in surprise.
SCOUT
Hey! What the hell?!
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER inputs the code once again. This time though, the light flashes red and a loud, disaffirming beep resounds throughout the room.
ENGINEER
(visibly confused)
What in the-?
ENGINEER tries the code again. The keypad beeps again.
SPY
Something wrong, Labourer?
ENGINEER
Unless someone changed the passcode in the last two minutes, (pauses as keypad beeps, then looks to the door) there shouldn’t be.
INT. INTEL ROOM
SCOUT quickly drops his bat and runs up to the door. He bangs his fists on it a few times.
SCOUT
(shouting, slightly panicked)
Yo! Guys! Lemme outta here! This ain’t
funny!
DEMOMAN
(shouting, muffled)
It’s not us, lad!
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
DEMOMAN
(shouting)
The system’s gone bloody haywire!
As ENGINEER talks, he continues inputting the code into the keypad. He starts to try different number combinations.
ENGINEER
Not ‘haywire,’ exactly, more like… (pauses as the keypad beeps) ugh, difficult. What is this damn thing’s problem…?
INT. INTEL ROOM
SCOUT crouches before the door. He attempts to lift it open with his hands, visibly struggling and making no progress.
SCOUT
Grr… c’mon, let… me… outta… DWAH!
SCOUT falls backwards, landing on his behind. PYRO continues standing behind SCOUT, looking around the room as the alarm finally goes off for the last time but the light continues to flash.
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
After the fifth or so beep from the keypad, SOLDIER suddenly shoves past ENGINEER.
ENGINEER
Hey-! Solly! What’re you-?!
SOLDIER now stands in front of the keypad, his face about two inches away from it. He jabs his finger into its buttons as he talks, but he’s not actively typing anything. Just poking.
SOLDIER
(angry)
You listen to me and you listen good! If you don’t let my brothers in arms outta that room, I’m gonna rip you apart limb from robot limb! Do you understand, maggot?!
ENGINEER slowly steps towards SOLDIER, placing his hand on his shoulder.
ENGINEER
Alright, now, Solly. Take it easy.
SNIPER (O.C.)
(muttering quietly)
That thing don’t even have limbs…
SOLDIER brushes ENGINEER’s hand away as he turns to face him.
SOLDIER
(still angry)
‘Taking it easy’ is for hippies! I will not rest until my comrades are back where I can see them! Even if I have to pull apart metal pieces of crap like this one!
On “this one,” SOLDIER jabs his finger at the keypad again, accidentally hitting the enter button and causing another beep to sound from it. SOLDIER turns back to the keypad with a glare.
SOLDIER
Ohhh, so that’s how it’s gonna be, eh?
SOLDIER cracks his knuckles.
SOLDIER
Well, lucky for you, I kick rust-covered asses like yours for breakfast!
ENGINEER slowly seems to realize what’s about to happen and moves to hold SOLDIER back.
ENGINEER
Wait, Soldier, don’t-!
With a resounding battle cry, SOLDIER punches the keypad three times and breaks it off of the wall before ENGINEER or anyone else can do anything. The buttons are completely knocked off and clatter to the floor along with the now smashed frame. Sparks fly from the remaining wires and circuit boards that are now exposed and hanging from the wall. Everyone stares at either SOLDIER or the broken keypad.
ENGINEER sighs as he puts his face in his hand, shaking his head.
SPY
(angry)
What the hell was that, you imbecile?!
SOLDIER
It’s what that rust bucket deserved. That’s what.
SOLDIER nods affirmingly. DEMOMAN steps forward, placing his arm around SOLDIER’s shoulder.
DEMOMAN
Lad, y’know I’m usually on your side for things like this, but now we got no way to open the thing!
(smiling) Unless, of course, ye want me to get me launchers out here ‘n make another door the old-fashioned way!
MEDIC
I vote we keep the base intact, thank you.
SPY
Oui, we cannot afford any more damages to the building. Or the Administrator will surely have our heads on pikes.
DEMOMAN
Ach, ye lot’s never fun.
HEAVY
Is not fun when taken from Heavy’s paycheck.
SCOUT
(shouting)
Wait, wait wait wait-
INT. INTEL ROOM
SCOUT
Whaddya mean ‘no way to open it’?? You’re not sayin’ I’m stuck in here, right?? Not with-!
SCOUT stops mid-sentence to glance over his shoulder. Ominous music plays while PYRO stands still in the same area. They’re facing the back of the room now, staring at the red light. It's impossible to tell what they're thinking. SCOUT turns back to the door and cups his hand.
SCOUT
(whisper-yelling, trying to be quiet but not doing a good job)
Not with the freak!
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER
(rolling his eyes)
Y’know they ain’t deaf, right? And I thought I told you to quit callin’ ‘em that!
INT. INTEL ROOM
SCOUT
(still attempting to whisper)
Dude, I can’t help it! He’s friggin’ creepy! You’ve seen the things she does to BLU, right?
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER
And? It’s just a more heated version of what we all do! Now hush up and quit complainin’! Heavy, can ya try liftin’ this?
HEAVY gently nudges past his teammates to get to the door while ENGINEER, DEMOMAN, and SOLDIER step to the side. As this happens, SCOUT speaks;
SCOUT
(yelling, muffled)
Aw, you’re just sayin’ that ‘cause it protects your stuff from Spies!
ENGINEER scowls. HEAVY begins trying to lift the metal door, but it’s locked in place, meaning not even the strongest mercenary on the team can open it. HEAVY strains against the door for a little while before giving up with a loud sigh.
HEAVY
Is no good. Door is stuck.
ENGINEER
(muttering)
Damn it!
INT. INTEL ROOM
PYRO
[Mph?]
SCOUT whirls around and immediately moves away from the door. PYRO has now stepped closer, their head tilted quizzically as they look at the door. SCOUT is visibly uneasy.
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER perks his head up and walks closer until he’s touching the door with one hand.
ENGINEER
(shouting)
Pyro? How’re you holdin’ up, buddy?
INT. INTEL ROOM
PYRO
(shouting, sort of)
[Mph. Mph mhmph?]
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER
Solly busted the keypad, got all heated ‘cause the security system ain’t workin’ right. It’s gonna take me a minute to fix it, I won’t lie.
PYRO
[Huh, mphm.]
DEMOMAN
(whispering to SOLDIER)
How the bloody hell does he understand that hellspawn?
SOLDIER shrugs silently.
INT. INTEL ROOM
SCOUT
(shouting)
Hey, how long’s ‘a minute’ gonna be? Not like… that long, right?
MEDIC
(shouting, muffled)
Not to worry, Herr Scout! He’ll have it fixed soon enough! Just sit tight for a bit!
SCOUT
(quietly)
This is un-friggin-believable…
INT. OUTSIDE INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER turns to the rest of the group.
ENGINEER
Well, like I said, this may take a while, so if you boys have other things you’d rather be doin’, go on ahead. Y’all’ll know when it’s fixed, trust me.
SOLDIER gives ENGINEER a confused look while DEMOMAN, SNIPER, SPY, MEDIC and HEAVY either smirk or quietly chuckle. Then, SOLDIER speaks up.
SOLDIER
(shouting to SCOUT and PYRO)
You will not be forgotten, maggots!
SOLDIER salutes in the door’s direction before darting off to who-knows-where. DEMOMAN watches him go down the hallway before sighing and shaking his head.
DEMOMAN
I’m gonnae go make sure he doesn’t punch the daylights out of every appliance in the base. (shouting) Oi! Wait for me, mate!
DEMOMAN runs down the hall after him. SNIPER silently leaves shortly after DEMOMAN.
SCOUT
(yelling, panicked)
Hey, hey, wait, you guys aren’t just leavin’ me here, right? Right??
MEDIC
Oh, not for forever, just until the machine is fixed! But you two might as well get cozy in there, it could take some time like Engineer said! (chuckle)
MEDIC then leaves. HEAVY follows a few seconds later, leaving ENGINEER and SPY. SPY steps closer to ENGINEER, being careful to talk low so SCOUT doesn’t hear.
SPY
As much as you choose to say otherwise, Labourer, I don’t trust that- (sighs) I don’t trust Pyro alone with Scout. The respawn system isn’t active outside of battle hours and there’s no telling what Pyro may do. Scout does have a point, you know.
ENGINEER
Look, I know that they’re… unpredictable, but they wouldn’t hurt anybody without cause, especially outside the battlefield. Scout will be fine.
(pause)
…Why’re you so worried about him all of a sudden, anyway?
SPY pauses. He glances at the metal door before leaning closer to ENGINEER.
SPY
(lowering his voice, frustrated)
Just find out why the system is malfunctioning and get him out. Otherwise we’ll have to put up with his whining all day. Not to mention the likelihood of the whole room being set ablaze due to Pyro’s sheer boredom.
SPY abruptly cloaks and walks away, leaving ENGINEER miffed over SPY’s attitude.
ENGINEER
Tch…
ENGINEER turns back to what’s left of the keypad. Then he looks to the door.
ENGINEER
(shouting)
Alrighty, you two just hang in there.
INT. INTEL ROOM
ENGINEER
(shouting, muffled)
I’ll have this thing fixed in a jiffy!
SCOUT’s shoulders slump as he puts his hands behind his head. He exhales shakily. Slowly, he turns back to look at PYRO. They are now looking in his direction, which causes SCOUT to gulp nervously. He quickly turns his whole body around so he is now facing PYRO and allows his hands to fall to his sides. They stare at each other.
The silence goes on for an uncomfortable amount of seconds before SCOUT finally breaks it.
SCOUT
So, uh… this sucks, huh?
PYRO doesn’t speak. Instead, they look back up at the red light, which has not stopped blinking since the doors shut despite the alarm no longer blaring. SCOUT follows their gaze. It’s quiet for a few more seconds.
SCOUT
Uh… yeah, that thing’s gettin’ kinda annoying, ain’t it?
PYRO looks back at SCOUT for a moment. SCOUT doesn’t look away from the light. While SCOUT continues looking, PYRO begins moving off-camera.
SCOUT
Like, yeah, we get it, the briefcase supposedly got stolen. How about ya stop blinkin’ and-
Before SCOUT can finish his sentence, PYRO takes their axe and smashes it against the lightbulb, effectively shutting off the light but now getting broken glass on the floor. SCOUT leaps away from PYRO.
SCOUT
(alarmed)
Woah, woah, woah!
PYRO lowers their axe once the light is out, but they don’t put it away. The normal fluorescent lights slowly flicker back on, but the shoddy lighting only adds to PYRO’s intimidating appearance. They look at SCOUT, who is now even further away from PYRO and staring at them with wide eyes. More silence passes for a moment.
SCOUT
Haha, uh… thanks? I think? (whispering under breath) Godpleasedon’thurtme.
PYRO tilts their head to the side.
PYRO
[Hudduh hmph?]
SCOUT blinks. He has no idea what PYRO said.
SCOUT
Uh… (chuckles nervously), uh, look, I’m just gonna go…
As he talks, SCOUT begins backing as far away from PYRO as he possibly can.
SCOUT
…over… here now. Yeah. I’m, um… claw-stray-phobic. That thing. Real bad. Yeah.
PYRO looks blankly in SCOUT’s direction. They're still standing with their axe in hand, looking not much unlike a typical slasher villain. SCOUT puts his back against the east side wall once he reaches it and slides down to the ground to cower, not taking his eyes off of PYRO.
─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───
(ending on what is currently page 27)
Oh man! What will become of Scout and Pyro? Will Scout learn to accept them as his teammate and potential friend? Or will Pyro live up to their reputation and incinerate Scout alive? Find out more… whenever I'm able to finish this and turn it into something LMAO
Apologies, I wrote this completely for fun and don't really know what to do with it yet. I have a couple of other TF2 scripts in progress, but this is the one that's closest to being done. It'd be cool if I could do something with it, but alas - I cannot yet. Especially now, when I'm not in the greatest living situation lol.
Again, feedback is greatly appreciated and I hope you enjoyed reading! <3
Is this considered a rare ship? not sure ... anyways this is how I invision different traits of their friendship or relationship depending on if you ship them or not.
After a long day of battle, Pyro loves to sit next to Sniper while he cleans his rifle. Sometimes, they’ll get too close, and Sniper will playfully nudge them away, but Pyro just leans right back in. It’s like they don’t even realize how comfortable they make each other. Sniper enjoys the warmth Pyro gives off, and often, they’ll end up sitting there for hours, silently sharing the peace after chaos.
Pyro has a strange habit of collecting things during missions—little flowers, shiny rocks, or even just odd bits of string—and they always give them to Sniper when he least expects it. Sniper is always amused by these "gifts," but he keeps them in his backpack as a quiet reminder of their special bond. One time, Pyro gave him a Golden Pin of some sort, which Sniper wore proudly, even though he thought it was kind of ridiculous and probably belonged to the enemy team at some point.
After a day of fighting, Sniper and Pyro often find themselves around the campfire, just enjoying the crackling of the flames. While Sniper idly strums a guitar (not very well), Pyro watches intently, often playing with the fire to make shapes in the air. They share a quiet companionship, a kind of understanding that doesn't need words.
While Pyro is all about fire, Sniper has an unusual fondness for watching them play with it. Occasionally, Pyro will show off their fire tricks, making sparks float in the air or creating mesmerizing patterns with the flames. Sniper watches in awe, not just at the flames but at Pyro’s passion for it. They both know the fire represents more than just destruction—it’s part of who they are, and watching Pyro’s skills always gives Sniper a bit of an appreciation for them that goes beyond the battlefield.
We never get bronislava content in the tf2 comics..any headcanons on how she's like as a person? And other headcanons bc I love ur art!!
Thank youuu!! As Bronislava's self-proclaimed no.1 fan, I'm so devastated about the lack of canon and non-canon media of her. A lot of my headcanons and ideas of what Bronislava is like is based around the way she presents herself in the comics, since there's not much to go off of personality-wise within dialogue 🥀
BRONISLAVA HEADCANONS
— the youngest of Heavy's sisters, with Yana being a year older and Zhanna being 4 years older. She tries her best to appear sensible but can't help but be her lively, loud self around people she trusts. Out of her sisters, I'd say she's the most extroverted and optimistic, with Zhanna being very monotone and Yana being soft-spoken.
— VERY brutally honest, but not out of malice or anger - if she likes you, why would she lie to you? That dress is ugly and she won't let you go out and embarrass yourself like that! She gives you her true opinion with a smile and loves to give her own opinions on things
— speaking of her opinions, she has a lot of them, and she likes to drone on and on about them. She won't do this around new people (unless trying to awkwardly flirt with them). Could go on for hours about one topic. Tends to repeat the same point over and over on accident, especially when speaking English, since she finds it hard to find the words to express what she means.
— she has a passion for art, though she isn't exactly naturally inclined with the paint and pen - that's where her kick for photography started. She got her first camera after the death of the administrator and hasn't put it down since.
— A very lively and fun person who enjoys including people in her work and discussions. Quite a touchy person aswell, a pat on the shoulder to get your attention, shaking to emphasise a point, etc. She communicates with her body, throwing her hands around whilst talking.
— gets crushes quickly, but has a hard time shaking them off (happened with Sniper). She heard Mischa talk about him briefly and instantly had a thing for him, but meeting him in person? Life changing. Insane. She had to get her hands on that man or she'd DIE.
— big fan of travelling, mainly for the opportunities for photography, but she also loves to go to art museums and galleries. Never stays in them too long, but loves to have a walk around, pointing at things and acting like she's a true art connoisseur
— BIG fan of doo-wop music. She loves doo-wop. That's it. Think;
And;
— she's an ENFJ - empathetic, authentic, charismatic, outspoken and idealistic. She's very attuned to others and that's where her brutal honesty comes in, she feels as if she needs to tell others what they can't see in themselves to help them.
Can't really think of what else to say about her, but I hope this gives you an idea of how I characterise her!!! Again, tysm for your ask and have a good day!! <3
