My New Years Resolution

My goal for 2015 is to be more active. I've spent far too much time on my couch this year. All I do is sit in my room, smoke, and watch old tv shows. I love to chill, but getting baked and watching M.A.S.H. shouldn't be the only enjoyment I get out of life. I think my problem is that I'm just a chip off the old block. As I was growing up, my dad never really did much but sit at home. I learned from watching him.

This year will be different. I'm tired of feeling all rotten about my life. The old me is gone, and the new me will sprout from the ashes.

A foodkin is a person who identifies as something that would generally be considered food. But really anything can be eaten. Even people. So in a way, we're all foodkin.

Just an update.

I have a viral disease, probably mono but we are awaiting the test result. I have been sick for over two months, including having seizures. This string of illness is especially hard due to my beliefs. I already have a restricted diet, and for the past week and a half I have been unable to even swallow water, leading to extreme dehydration and malnutrition. I have been hospitalized several time throughout this, but hopefully am on the worst of it, before I start improving. Thank you followers for keeping up with my journey, and if you would like to ask a question, or just talk, feel free to send me an ask! I love you my little tater tots.

I’m so glad I can inspire you with my journey! My advice for coming out is pretty simple. Be honest with yourself and everything will fall into place. As long as you know and love who you are, you will be much happier. I’m not going to lie, being out as a potatokin is hard. It feels like all eyes are suddenly on you. However, trust that it does get easier. You will find others out there who understand what you’re going through and they will help you a great deal. After making this blog and seeing the support I had, my quality of life has greatly improved. I’m a whole new spud. Good luck my little sprout, I’m always here if you need anything.

potato is a fucking starch, and the potato itself isn't a plant anyways. if you're going to make fun of plantkin by pretending to be plantkin, at least have basic fucking knowledge of plants. speaking of which, I don't get it. what have they ever done to you? does it just get you off to make fun of people who have never done you harm? you're creepy as hell. grow the fuck up, and get a hobby.

This kind of close-minded bigotry is what is holding us back as a society. Plantkin, potatokin, dandelionkin, and just about any other type of otherkin are simply separate parts of the same whole.

You don’t have to believe me. You don’t have to agree with me. You can think I’m weird, creepy, stupid, irrational. You can think whatever you want. 

The message I am trying to get across is simple.

I am what I am. I am who I am. My opinions are simply that. My opinions.

Respecting an individual, no matter how strongly their views contrast your own, is what is important.

We are all together on this earth. Let’s support each other instead of tearing others down.
