many eons ago I had an idea for an au fic where instead of yeeting bloom into some portal to a rando destination that just happened to be earth, daphne sends bloom to eraklyon and she's raised there... i think about reviving it every once in a while

something delicious to me about the idea of erendor feeling obligated to have her brought up at court as some kind of atonement for his complicity in the genocide of her homeland.... but her being a living, breathing personification of his guilt..

and for bloom, exploring what it means to grow up KNOWING she's a princess of a lost world. being raised as a princess, but owing everything you have ever had to the "kindness" of your dead parent's friend, and never truly being allowed to forget it. knowing what you've been given can be taken away at any moment should you break the rules or lose your usefulness... some real dark fairytale ass shit. which is very eraklyon-core
