Ahora, me pregunto yo?
-Christian I. Valles PowerCoupleCritics

Imagine visiting the guitar capital of the world; truly a musicians paradise. On July 25, 2016, the guitar town of Paracho, Michoacan united in order to try to break the Guinness World Record by having over 6,000 guitarist play three traditional Mexican songs all at the same time. Over 3,000 musicians of all ages, and from all over Mexico brought music to all the spectaculars ears. Although the world record was not broken, they did accomplish the continental record of most guitarist playing. Next year, Paracho, Michoacan, will try again to break the World Record. Clubbing: Train, Queretaro
Queretaro, Mexico is one of the fastest growing developing cities, thanks to it's striving business, and culture. Knowing that this city has money, I knew that its night scene had to be off the roof! After researching some of best night clubs, I came across Train. A club right next to “Los Arcos” a well know architectural structure in the heart of the city of Queretaro. Train, is a small inclusive club that requires reservation. As soon as you arrive, you are taken to the rooftop of the club where the you are greeted with a good selection of bottle service ( remember to ask for any promotions). The rooftop experience allows you to pre-game as you have front view of “Los Arcos”. Good music allows you to begin getting in the mood for what the night will bring. Around 12:30pm everyone is escorted downstair, where the real party begins. From the moment you step inside, you are taken into an underground railroad. After walking over a rail track you come to the main club area. The cave structures and the illusion that a train has crashed into the wall of the club, makes you automatically get in mood to dance all night. Train is a classy, sophisticated place to spend on a Saturday.
Riverfest has been one of the most anticipated event in Farmington. New Mexico. Riverfest was turning 30 year and we knew that this year was the year to experience the infamous Celebration.
We decided to avoid the crowds so we attended on the last day of Riverfest. As soon as we arrived we headed over to the caravan of food trucks. While eating our cheesy curly fries, and fried chicken on a stick. I was quickly distracted by the most unique food truck at the event. Is that a lemonade stand? Yes, it was. We savored our food but, we were eager to rushed over to see the tiny camper they had. Zach and Casey were running the State Fair Old Fashioned Lemonade stand and were super excited to talk about their 1961 lemonade camper at the Riverfest. They have been taking part in Riverfest for the last four year and their favorite part is selling lemonades and watching the wiener dog races.
Riverfest coordinated the event to fall on Memorial weekend. This is perfect because it allows families to attend the event during these special times. There is no doubt there is an activity for all ages. Whether if you love the trill of flowing down the Animas River, want to show of your dog or if you simply want to relax and have a drink while listening to a live band. I would recommend Riverfest to those who enjoy nature and want to have a relaxing day with your family or friends.
Crown Plaza Albuquerque, New Mexico
Crown Plaza Albuquerque, New Mexico October, 2015 The purpose of this trip was for a leadership conference, so I was able to get a whole overview of the hotel’s services, culinary experience and overall stay. At the beginning I was quite perturbed from the hotels location, which made me wonder if it would be like every other highway run down hotel, as you hear often on most online reviews. All changed once I entered the lobby floors. I arrived fashionably late, yet I was welcomed by friendly staff, and guided us to the conference room in which dinner was almost ready to start. From the moment our group sat down in the Southwest Ballroom the hotels caters kindly serviced us in every way we needed.
Culinary experience: Rate 5/10 Culinary Service: 8/10 Due to the fact that it was a conferences catered event, food was a little cold by the time we got to eat. Although I wish the food had a little more texture and presentation, I was quite happy with the caters services. During my visit I was catching a cold, and one of the waiters noticed and offered a hot tea with honey. I found that gesture quite extraordinary since I have never approached in a matter where a waiter notices just small details, in a big group of people.
Room Stay: Room Service: 4/10 First night in my room, I was quite cold, due to the fact that the room thermometer did not work. At around 12pm, I ended up calling room service to get the problem fixed. They mentioned they will send a tech to my room, I waited for about an hour but no one ever showed up. One thing I did enjoy was the complimentary oil sleeping creams and spray. It made me forget about the cold room and made me fully relax.
Overall Hotel Rate: 7/10 The Royal Crown is a great place to Host conferences, and Meetings. Will be returning during the summer to sojourn at the outdoor swimming pool, and the Bar Lounge.
