Still a wip but I wanted to share a Timpani/Blumiere piece for SPM's anniversary! I imagine that awhile after arriving in their new world together, they'd want to have a proper wedding since their initial one was...rushed lol. My Timpani is Ryukyuan and it's very special for her to wear a traditional ryusou/ushinchi for such an important day and be able to share her culture with Blumiere too (which he's honored by, of course!). I particularly love the Benigata pattern I found for Timpani's outfit. The colors suit her perfectly! 🥰

HAPPY 19TH ANNIVERSARY SUPER PAPER MARIO!!!!

I'm so freaking delighted to present the completed Timpani mega collab, with a grand total of 57 submissions across different platforms. I am over the moon with how excited people were about this project and I'm definitely gonna have to do another one for the big 20th next year!!!! Everyone's creativity was such a joy to see exhibited together. One of my favorite things over the years has been enjoying seeing everyone's unique interpretations of Lady Timpani, and I'm so glad we were able to bring together a handful of them to celebrate our love for this game that means so much to all of us!!!

My Timpani for @pixelatedfairy 's collab! I had to make this a quick and kinda sketchy one since I've got lots of passover stuff to do atm but I'm so excited to see everyone's all together!

I take the line where she says she's an "ordinary girl" literally so my Timpani wasn't born into nobility, instead being a country girl who only became a lady after marrying Blumiere. I also don't put much of Tippi into her design cause I personally feel like her time in that body was pretty traumatic for her...😅 Anyway! In my headcanons, she's Ryukyuan (Okinawan) and has ADHD, and her main hyperfixation is gardening, which she loves to infodump/share random fun facts about. People in her village, sadly, often thought of her as a know-it-all. Blumiere (who I think of as being autistic) was able to understand her on a deeper level and made her feel comfortable being fully, unapologetically herself. I love them (and SPM!) so very much! 💖🦋
