The last 4 months have taught me, one cannot solve all problems by oneself. Sometimes you have to pass on the problems to others who may have a better solution than you. This turns out to be beneficial for the person who came to you with their problem, for the person who can provide the solution, and most importantly for you.
DAY013
You don't need to have it all figured out to move forward. Day 012
Dale Partridge
Marshall Goldsmith taught me that "Behavioural change is simple. But simple is far from easy" Day 011
The last few days of not being mindful of my surroundings have taught me that it is so easy to fall off the “good habits” train. —Day 010
Today David Allen taught me that “To get more done, you need space and not more time. Mental space to think creatively and clearly.” Day 009
Today Prof. Csikszentmihalyi taught me “The best moments occur when a person’s body or mind is stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile … in the long run optimal experiences add up to a sense of mastery—or perhaps better, a sense of participation in determining the content of life—that comes as close to what is usually meant by happiness as anything else we can conceivably imagine.” https://blog.rescuetime.com/finding-flow-at-work Day 008
Today @robinsloan taught me on the @embeddedfm podcast that “There is a real power in starting a project - no matter how small, finishing it and announcing that it is done.” Day 007
Tim O'Reilly taught me today that "When a single player attempts to corner all value in an economy, they, in most cases end up crashing it or making it irrelevant - look at IBM with mainframes, Microsoft with PCs" Day 006
Today my son taught me "It is easy to talk about being brave. It is difficult to be brave. " Day 005
The assistance I have received from colleagues has taught me that "It is important to build your bridges in advance so that you may cross them when the river is raging" Day 004
Today not helping somebody with something really small taught me that "The nagging feeling you are left with, when you know you can help somebody, but chose not to do so, is not very pleasant" Day 003
Today a craft project taught me "Haste in sticking the tabs leads to a wobbly end product" Day 002
Today my son taught me - "When you are really committed to achieving something, you have the strength to achieve it" Day 001
If you commit to NOTHING, you will be distracted by EVERYTHING
