I mean I have (in various blogs and including this one) been one of the people from the very beginning calling them bad armchair historian who blatantly makes stuff up but they have yet to delete or lose most of their followers. It’s deeply unfortunate because they’re wildly antisemitic, anti-Rromani, and have been lying about their race for years.

And we KNOW they’re lying because their old blog is archived and you can see them talk about being German and pale/white, talking about spray tanning and selfies pre-their self tanning photos – they even previously said their mother called herself a “crazy white lady.” They talked about being from an Arizona native tribe that isn’t in or from Arizona. They claimed their uncle was mestizo because he had a mustache. They claimed their Rroma grandmother was smuggled out of Nazi Germany by “white Jews” in a suitcase – a claim which is easily debunked by Rroma and Jewish bloggers and anyone who’s ever studied Nazi Germany. Like its so frustrating knowing that ACTUAL light skinned/white passing POC are demonized and interrogated over our families and genes but when this Rachel Dolezal fake ass goes out and does this shit and we have PROOF they are white German – they get to make $1,500 a month for it!!

San Francisco-based designer Frieda + Sophie devotes her time into the construction of her unconventional, yet beautiful and eco-friendly jewelry. All gemstones and mineral stones, geodes, and natural specimens are acquired honorably.
