again the allure of letters pulled me in, new characters, new stories, new people, none were real but felt like my own,

bleak existence creeps within myself, these dreary thoughts are clawing my legs, I can't move ahead or feel anything, numbness is all within

when i look back now all i see are the pieces of myself i tried to bend into keys to those empty houses which never were meant to be home

if i drew out my mind, would you look at the smugs of sorrow and hairlines of happiness and still love me the same?

and today it rains again, along with my tears the sky's agony dances in a melody, the melody of rain, the white noise of silence

and when the time comes to atone for my choices, i will accept the impending fate, for i never regret for i never fear
