when i first started this blog, i never imagined i would continue with it. i always thought it would be something i would leave to the side after a few weeks and just become one of the many other blogs i had started but lost interest in.Ā
but here i am, 9 months later with a blog that has grown far bigger than my wildest dreams. i have met and interacted with so many incredible people on this site and made friends when i never thought it possible. i also joined as an admin on @officialninepercent (though iām very incredibly sorry i havenāt been able to help out as of late)Ā
i had a pretty bad experience on social media in general at the start of this year and i wasnāt expecting much out of starting afresh on tumblr. but the amount of effort i put into my blog even surprised myself and iām so glad i persevered to the end
this was a special year for me in general.Ā
first of all, i graduated high school and can finally say that senior year is in fact the best year of all (to all those who arenāt seniors yet, it truly is the best experience of your life)Ā
i managed to keep this blog up and running in the midst of my studies and excel in both (well not really with the blog but for me it was pretty incredible)
i made new friends and lost some along the way. i was able to have a spectacular schoolies trip as a result and lived to tell the tale (driving on windy roads is scary yāall)
i managed to make it to the top 0.1% of the country with my finals results (donāt ask me GPA bc i have no clue lol)Ā
and somehow, people still remember me on this blog even though iāve taken a month long hiatusĀ
i donāt think iāll ever be able to express my gratitude to all those people i have met along the way. your support has meant so much to me and is one of the main reasons why iāve decided against closing this blog down.Ā
