but like can anyone tell me why i woke up feeling so bad about my art... and can someone tell me how i can look at it one day and be like wow i am a god. and the next day be like. oh... yikes...........

i mean i know the answer to this lmfao its just the cycle of things, ive been going thru it for like 10yrs at this point but like fuuuuuuuuck. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck why am i not better. comparison is the thief of joy n all that but gotta admit. i am comparing and contrasting regardless. and i am comparing HARD and of course comparing numbers today too which is even worse than comparing art

i had ungodly amts of engagement when i was objectively worse at art. and its like. because i was drawing stuff for a MASSIVE fandom. but my brain wants to tell me that i shouldnt NEED to draw peoples blorbos, that my art should be worth sharing on its own, that i want people will go "oh yea i dont even go here but this is great im gonna share this". like if it actually had soul it would speak for itself. but it just feels so dead and fake

but anyway ya its a weird limbo to be in where i know i am at like at least an intermediate level skill-wise, with some pieces landing a bit higher than that based on effort, but there are things about my art that just wont seem to budge. and some days i look at it and feel straight up mortified and embarrassed that i even try to claim any sort of skill. but ya. anyway. idk SORRYYY LOL
