My cello teacher said I was ready to learn vibrato today. After playing the same studies for forever, vibrato made everything new and even more beautiful. I couldn't stop smiling the whole lesson and the ride home :D

Since I was about 10 years old, I’ve been dreaming of the day I could actually learn all of the Elgar cello concerto in e minor. Today is the day that I finally finished learning it. My cello teacher gave me absolute confidence in my lesson today, when just the night before I was having a breakdown thinking about how bad I would screw it up on my jury. With a month still left to fine tune some things, I’m highly satisfied with what I’ve accomplished so far. It is still so exciting to be playing my “dream piece” this semester, and I’m still as in love with it as the first time I heard it. #sorrythatwaslong #imjustreallyhappyrightnow #cello #music #elgar #celloconcerto

New job, new premed major

I’m happy to say I’ve just been hired at MUJI Toronto! :D Ever since I saw their stationary on Tumblr I’ve always wanted to work there. In other news, I’ve decided to major in performance cello instead of biology. I think I’ll be much happier doing this as premed. I’ve spoken to people who took a similar premed route to find they were very happy with their choice. (2 music majors and 1 English major are now doing med school in America)

I’ll let you guys know how the new journey goes. I’m so excited for what’s ahead :D

question about your note outline that your posted. do you read ahead a little in order to do the outline at the beginning? ive been trying to follow that structure, but creating the outline then kinda throws me off

Hi anon, y u anon? Now i can't follow you :( lol. In my textbooks it tells me the topics of chapter at the start of the chapter so I just write the topics first to find information in my binders more easily. I've actually realllly been meaning to update my format since I've changed quite a few things since then. I might take that post down. I'll make a new post on Friday. For now, stay tuned, anon ~

Actually I’ve been hoping for a designer to make clothing based on our precolonial clothing especially ones for weddings. I’m not getting married any time soon but I would love my dress to be inspired by the beautiful clothing our ancestors wore. Something like this.
