The fact that Taika Waititi not only made a movie partially about a comedic Hitler, but openly sold it as a comedic movie about Nazi Germany in 2019 blows a massive hole in all these white cisdudes who can't stop bitching and moaning about making jokes in PC culture, and shows the real problem is they're actually just neither creative nor empathetic enough to make the jokes they want to make. They're just bitter their low-hanging fruit is being taken away and now they have to think about what they're saying. And worse yet, there are people like Waititi who are perfectly willing to do that thinking and succeed at making non-PC humor work. Their whole world is warping around them and I couldn't love it more.
