Berries from the fire, Friends in the Blizzard

Winter has arrived in Bunny Hill, frost surrounding the leaves and flowers in a protective coating before a harsher chill came in 2 weeks later, forcing the flowers and annual plants and trees to hibernate until the rays of spring return. 

BunearyQueen was walking around a frozen lake, wearing a long brown coat with pink fluff along the bottom and collar, and of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a Buneary-themed earmuff. She snuggled tightly as another icy breeze blew through the area, stinging her nose and eyes for a few seconds before the Goddess of Winter ceased her play.

“Whoooo, this will be another bone-chilling year here. I can’t go home yet, I need to find this Cetoddle. The villagers say that whenever it arrives to play on the frozen lake, it produces a blizzard that can last for days. Normally they let it roam as it pleases as the Pokemon doesn’t harm anybody, but lately, the region has been suffering a severe winter and they do not have enough wood to survive its frolics. 

That is why BunearyQueen is here, as a Pokemon Trainer they had asked her to see if she could persuade the Terra Whale Pokemon to come back next year or capture it, ultimately relocating it by having it join Buneary’s team, or releasing it in another cold climate region. Buneary decided if she had no choice but to capture it, then it would stay in her team with Scorbunny.

“Bunbun!!” Scorbunny’s head popped out of Buneary’s shirt, looking at his trainer who was laughing at his antics. He was hugging closely to her core to keep her warm from the day's freeze, both expecting it to drop below freezing the moment the sun had set. The perfect temperature for the Terra Whale to come out and play. “Bun!”

“Hold your horses, Lexi. We need to find a place to pitch up our tent before night falls. I know for one I don't want my bunny tail to freeze off.” She then unzipped her jacket, shuddering briefly as her Fire Rabbit Pokemon jumped out before zippering it back up again. “You go and find the right wood to make a campfire while I set up the tent, also you have an eye for finding the right flintstones, that would help as well.”

“Bu-bun!!” Scorbunny hopped around the trees on the North side of the lake, looking for fallen branches or twigs and a couple of stones to act as a fire starter, as well as looking for berries he and Buneary to enjoy. Nothing better than fire-roasted Asper, Yache, and Pumkin berries.

Meanwhile, BunearyQueen found a section in between several thick bushes and set up the tent. It was the perfect location not only to prevent biting winds from hitting or getting into the tent but she and Lexi would have a clear view of the lake without moving too much. It took about 30 minutes for her to secure the tent, and by that time Lexi had placed and started the campfire before putting the berries on top of a few heated rocks for them to roast. “Wow, you found a good assortment of berries there, Lexi. What is this one?” She had picked up a cream-yellow berry with orange stripes at the lower bumps, and she was caught off guard by its weight. “Jiminy Alcremie, this thing is heavy. What berry is this?”

“Bun!!” Lexi grabbed the Pokedex and handed it to his trainer for her to get some information. “Oh, that is right, it has the list of berries as well.” She entered the information on the Pokedex and activated its camera.

PUNKIN BERRY: Size can reach an average of 1.9 inches, Sour level: 10, Despite the sourness of this berry it has a hint of all other flavors that cannot be detected in the Flavor Level. It is packed with nutrition as it is very dense, be careful in tossing this to Pokemon as concussions have been reported.

“You're telling me, my arm is about to fall off.” She put the berry back on the rock, shaking her arm and wrist to get rid of the tired/stinging feeling. The female trainer was surprised, it weighed half of her Scorbunny. “Lexi, I will leave the cooking to you, you have a knack for knowing when the berries are done.”

“Bun Bunn!!”

BunearyQueen stretched her muscles, feeling her back and hips pop back in place before looking around once again, the area now getting dark as the sun had the last rays before hiding under the horizon. Her nose felt the sting once again as the temperature dropped, she sat on a heated rock Lexi had prepared for the long night and began to eat the roasted berries. “Thank you, Lexi. These are delicious.”

Meanwhile, not too far from BunearyQueen and her Pokemon, Cetoddle was being allured by the scent of its favorite berry, Yache. It always had this blue berry chilled or frozen as of course, it thrives in the cold climate, but the scent of it being cooked made its mouth water like no other. Cetoddle summoned a blizzard in excitement as it got closer, billowing around the area until it reached the bend of the lake.

“To~” It looked curiously at a human and a fire-type Pokemon, scurrying into a type of den it had never seen hiding from the snow. There was a fire nearby, dancing wildly from the wind, and within the flame on top of the stones were blue lightly charred berries. Eyes wide as the delicious berries beckoned it toward them, the Terra Whale slid across the lake to get to its prize. Oh~...They smell so delicious, that Cetoddle could not wait to bite into their juicy deliciousness.

BunearyQueen and Lexi were staking out inside the tent, caught off guard when the blizzard arrived sooner than expected. They looked through the mesh flap eventually seeing a large silhouette coming closer toward them. It was Cetoddle, sniffing around the fire and staring at the cooked berries in hunger. “Awww, it must have smelled the berries, I wonder if the little fella is hungry.”

Little? That Pokemon is bigger than me! Lexi thought, flinching as his trainer flicked his ear. BunearyQueen always seemed to know what he was thinking. “Bunbun…”

“Be nice, let’s introduce ourselves.” BunearyQueen scolded before slowly opening the tent to avoid scaring their guest. “Hey, there little fella, are you hungry?”

“To…” Cetoddle stepped back a bit, unsure of the stranger as she edged closer to the flame and stabbed the Yache with a stick. She blew on it a few times before placing it on a large leaf and giving it to Cetoddle. 

“We have plenty and Lexi here,” BunearyQueen pointed toward her partner Buneary. “Can look for more berries if needed, there are several berry trees here.

“Bun!!” Lexi raised his hand as if to confirm that he could look and cook the berries. “Bunbun!!”

Cetoddle nodded and took a bite of the Roasted Yache, and immediately the juice coated its tongue, filling the senses with the enhanced flavors. The char gave it a smoky kick, and the flavor was beyond what it could imagine. It begged for more, holding the leave and looking at BunearyQueen with a demuring look.

“Jiminy Alcremie, that is hard to say no to…” BunearyQueen sighed, shaking her head before skewering and placing more roasted berries. “Looks like you will have to look for more, Lexi. Hop to it!”

Lexi pouted but nodded, leaving the area for more food. Meanwhile, BunearyQueen was looking at the Terra Whale Pokemon as it happily ate more of the berries. “Now, what am I going to do with you…”

“To?” Cetoddle looked at the female human in confusion, who was staring at it with a slight smile. “Do you know the villagers nearby?” Cetoddle nodded and tilted its head. “Well, they are having a tight spot right now and they don’t have enough wood or food to survive the winter while you are playing. The blizzard you create is causing problems this year, and they asked me to see if you can ease up or maybe leave them be for the time being.”

Cetoddle was surprised at the request, but it understood. Even it saw that food and shelter were sparse, and it wondered if it was its fault. “Ce-to~.” It guessed it was time to leave, as fun as it is here, it didn’t want to harm the villagers who occasionally gave it food and tended its wounds. Where could it go, though?

The Terra Whale Pokemon looked down at BunearyQueen’s waist and saw a few Pokeballs, instantly giving it an idea. Plus, the way the berries were cooked by Lexi was amazing. It can travel and eat at the same time, two starly with one rolycoly. “Tah!!” It pointed toward the Pokeball, letting the trainer know what it wanted.

“A-are you sure? You want to be with me and Lexi?” BunearyQueen was stunned, not expecting Cetoddle to make an executive decision to be her partner. She pulled out a Pokeball and handed it out to Cetoddle. “Well, if you are sure then we need to have a Nickname for you. Hmmm,” She gave it some thought as the Pokemon waited to be named. “I know, how about Laboon! You are just as powerful and it is perfect for you.”

Cetoddle, now named Laboon danced a bit, causing the ground to shake before putting its hand on the button, opening the Pokeball, and allowing it to enter inside. By the time the final click was heard, Lexi arrived back with more berries. “Lexi, look! We have a new friend, Cetoddle or Laboon decided to join our team!”

So that means I have to look for more berries for it, huh? Lexi deadpanned before flinching at BunearyQueen’s stare.

“Lexi, be nice!!”

Candied Fruit

Katsuki didn’t know what he wanted, and it was driving him nuts. He knew he wanted something sweet, but not heavy like ice cream, pure sugar like cotton candy or marshmallows, hell not even an oatmeal cookie. He even asked Sato if he had any sweets he made, but Bubbly Kirby took all of the baked goods, dammit.

Sato did say he could make more, but it would take several hours, something Katsuki didn’t have time for. So, he resigned to heading back down to the kitchen to grab the ice cream to eat instead. He knows it is Izuku’s favorite but he didn’t care at the moment and will deal with it tomorrow.

He got out of his thoughts when he heard the clinking of dishes and peeked in to see Sero in the kitchen, standing over a stove keeping an eye on a pot that seemed to be boiling something. Katsuki took a sniff but didn’t smell anything so it was either water or something else that was odorless. Curious, he walked in and leaned over the pot as Sero left to get a tray of assorted fruits that were drying next to the sink. His mouth suddenly watered as he realized his classmate was making Tanghulu, and that was exactly what he was looking for.

“Oh hey, Bakugou! Didn’t see you sneak up behind me.” Sero said as he set the skewered fruit down. He then tilted the pot slightly and dipped the fruit quickly before placing them on wax paper. “What brings you down here so late? Usually, you are in your dorm to sleep away.”

“Y-yeah, I was a little hungry but I don’t know what to eat,” Katsuki grunted, eyeing Sero doing nimble work with the Tanghulu. The clear melted sugar drips back into the pot as the chill from the fruit begins to cool and harden the sugar into a glass casing. Not a single crack or fog in sight, it was the perfect sugar glass. 

Sero briefly looked at his dormmate, noticing the red eyes dilate bigger than he had usually seen them when the blonde gets excited when he gets to blow things up. “You ok, Bakugou? You uh…kinda drooling over there.” He chuckles as he gets the rare red embarrassment flush from Bakugou as he turns away to wipe the evidence. “You know, I am making a big batch today where they will most likely last past the fruit’s fresh-by date. I will give them to everyone tomorrow, maybe the extra to Uraraka. She does love her sweets.”

Bakugou growled and pouted, surprising Sero. “Pink Cheeks already had her fair share of sweets. I went to Big Lip’s room to grab some sweets but he straight out told me that she took everything.” 

Sero shook his head, “I know I shouldn’t comment on a woman’s diet but she does eat a lot without a thought to share or ask the others if she can have some. I mean, she still had a black eye when she ate Midoriya’s peppermint candy ice cream. Those things are hard to come by and Sato made them just for Midoriya.”

Bakugou paled as he suddenly remembered. “Oh yeah, she was surprised when he did that too. He normally keeps his emotions in check, but when it comes to dessert that is a different story.” He shuddered when an image of a pissed-off Izuku began to berate Uraraka. “He verbally grilled her too and told her all of her flaws both in Quirk and impulse. I don’t think he cared if he made her cry and the other girls were angry at him for a few days.”

Sero chuckled and handed Bakugou a plate of 5 Tanghulu, showing a shine surrounding various fruits like pineapple, strawberries, and most impressively, watermelon. “Yeah, I would have hidden underground if I angered the girls. He fought a war and apparently won.”

Katsuki took the plate and nodded. “Yeah, well, the Midoriya’s have a quiet temper. If you push their buttons enough they will tear you to shreds.” He and Sero sat at the dining table and he picked up one with pineapple, eyeing it and his mouth watered again telling his brain to take a bite. The sheen was so perfect, the glass sugar so clear and not a crack as it cooled it was at the perfect temperature. 

He then took a bite and the sugar casing broke with little resistance, the sugar dissolving onto Katsuki’s tongue as the sweet and tangy combo of the pineapple melded into bliss. Katsuki sighed as his craving began to purr in satisfaction, stating that it was the perfect light yet sweet dessert that he needed. 

“Hehe, didn’t think you could purr, Bro. I should tell Izuku about this.”

“You do, I will find a way to barely kill you as you are too good at Tanghulu to die.”

The raven-haired teen again chuckled at the blonde before the duo ate their treats in silence. Sero had to wrap the others in separate bags and bring them to his fridge so no one could eat them, especially Uraraka. Bakugou decided to help him with that as a thank you.

Finding Filo

“Filo-chan! Where are you? You better not be getting into trouble!” Raphtalia looked frantically for her friend. A Filolial named Filo, who can transform into a racing bird, a large fluffy bird, and a small child at her will. She also had unique powers that rivals the other Filolials, indicating that she would be the next Queen of her flock. However, Raphalia and their Master Naofumi always seem to find her in unusual situations. This time it was a large corn maze.

“Geez, why does she act like a spoiled brat.” Naofumi mumbled, rubbing the back of his head as a migraine was forming. He then stood straight up and took a deep breath. “FILO!! YOU GET BACK HERE OR I WILL WITHHOLD YOUR MEALS!!!”

There was an uproar to the north of them, hearing the scream of despair of their Filo in that direction. “NOOOOO!!! FILO LOVE FOOD!! BUT FILO MUST STAY FOR MASTER AND RAPH-CHAN TO FIND FILO!!””

“Filo-chan wants us to find her? That is unusual.” Raphtalia looked at her master in confusion. “I wonder what she is doing.”

“I don’t know, but that does not warrant a command seal. She seemed eager for us to search though. Besides, I have had fun going through Corn Mazes when I was in my old world. You get to see a variety of things and sometimes win prizes.”

“Prizes? What kind?” Raphtalia said, wagging her tail and stars began to form in her eyes. “I would love to get a prize!”

Naofumi chuckles at his first partner’s enthusiasm. “Then let’s find Filo, then see if we can get to the center of the maze.” He patted her head before taking her hand and guided her through the maze, occasionally looking at double or triple paths figuring out which path to go. It was a ruse actually, Naofumi knew exactly what he was doing and he had asked Filo to help make things believable. Filo was at the center of the corn maze, setting up a picnic of everyone’s food, especially Raphtalia. Today was a special day for the Female Vassal, and they wanted to make everything perfect.

Filo was in her small-winged girl form, smoothing out the large picnic blanket of crimson and ensuring no dust or straw or dead corn leaves didn't get in the way of the plates, food, and drinks. She was happy that the master gave her a special mission for her, and it involved her big sister Raph-chan. It was going to be fantastic.

“Filo, there you are!”

“Ah! Master and Raph-chan found Filo!! Filo is happy!” Filo said, jumping up and down before hugging her big-sis and master. “Did Master and Raph-chan have fun?”

“Yes, we did. Thank you, Filo.” Naofumi smiled, petting Filo and pulled the other to the picnic, leaving her confused. “Ummm, master? What do you mean thank you to Filo?” She looked at the two, who then had certain twitches only she could see, causing her to pout. “You two planned this?”

Filo nodded and hugged Raphtalia again, “Master gave Filo a mission to set the picnic for big sis, today is your anniversary of freedom. Today is also the anniversary of meeting our master!”

Raphtalia blinked a few times before realizing it was. The last and final day she was in a cage, purchased by Naofumi and given free reign, tasting the air once again. “T-thank you, Naofumi, Filo. This makes me so happy. If things were different, I was sure I would not have met either of you.”

“Don’t get sappy and enjoy the picnic,” Naofumi chuckled, teasing her for the tears. “You want your prize, right? Hurry up before things get cold!”

They had enjoyed the food that afternoon, watching the sunset at the west side of the corn maze, and talked about future plans and adventures before deciding to pack up and head home. The glow of Naofumi’s shield helped them get out, and the stars were bright in the moonless sky, indicating that their next adventure would be a fun one.

We Are Having What?

Tsu was nervous. She had just had her third monthly checkup with her prenatal physician, and during the sonogram, she’d received a surprise her husband was surely going to pass out from. She was going to need to butter him up before she told him.

Her husband, Masked Donut, was a Quirkless Pro Hero from the United States who had moved to Japan after they’d met. Four years later, they had two children, and couldn’t be happier. But now—Tsu rested a hand on her pregnant belly—more children were on the way. Masked Donut wasn’t due to get home for another three hours since he was on a rescue mission, which would give her plenty of time to make his favorite meal. 

After her appointment, Tsu then picked up their twin four-year-olds from daycare. Her son, Jacen, was hopping around, showing off his frog jumps while his sister, Eliza, was giggling and trying to keep up with her brother. “Jacen, wait for me!!”

Jacen slowed down and waited for his sister and mother. “Hurry up, Eliza, gero!” He continued to hop around but stayed in place. “When will you get your Quirk, sis? What kind of Quirk will it be?”

Eliza looked at her brother sadly. “I am not sure if I will get a Quirk. I haven’t shown anything yet.”

“There is a chance you may be quirkless, but so is your father, kero.” Tsu smiled comfortingly at her daughter. “He is a Pro Hero in his own right, without a Quirk. It’s proof you don’t need one to make a name for yourself, kero,” Tsu replied before wrapping her tongue around Jacen who jumped too far. “Besides, keeping an eye on your brother is tough enough. What did I tell you about jumping right into traffic, kero?”

“Sorry, Mommy, gero…”

“Babe, I’m home!”

“Welcome home, Daddy!” the twins yelled as they ran/jumped toward their father. He had just finished a week-long rescue from the landslide in Saiko and they’d missed him. “How was your work, gero?” 

“Did you save a lot of people?”

Masked Donut chuckled and let his children climb all over him. “The rescue went well. Luckily there were no deaths, just some injuries the survivors will recover from. I had to make sure some of the ships that sank from the landslide boulders had no oil in the tanks or pump the tanks to avoid polluting Kyoto’s main water supply.” He felt a muscle twinge in his back and stretched while the twins held on to his arms as he lifted up. “Selkie is an awesome man to work with; he knew the lake from the top down.”

“Yes, kero, and he is cute when he acts childish,” Tsu replied, giggling as her mate pouted. “Dinner is ready, I made your favorite.”

Donut lit up like a kid in a candy store. “Tacos!? I haven’t had good ones in ages! Don’t get me wrong Lunch Rush was amazing providing us with nutrition but one does miss good tacos.”

Tsu chirped and smiled before putting a hand over her stomach. “Oof, we got a kicker, I think we may have another frog Quirk baby coming.” She rubbed her stomach. “I think that one will be more active than Jacen by the way it lurched.”

Donut smiled before picking up what she’d said and frowned. “That one? What do you mean, that one?” He walked forward and put his hand over her hand, looking at the bump. “You look bigger than when the twins were brewing at three months, are we expecting more than one?” He smiled as he too felt the kick from his future child, rubbing his wife’s belly as he had a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and euphoria that tears were now flowing down his eyes. He was going to be a father of more little tadpoles.

Tsu grabbed a sonogram photo with her tongue and showed it to Donut. “I went to the perinatologists today and had a sonogram done when I noticed like you said—bigger than my first pregnancy. Take a look at what the doctor found.”

Donut swallowed and took a look at the black and white photo. It showed three black holes, each one with a small white blob, and one had two small masses like one of it was a hand saying hi to the camera.

“Daddy is nervous; he is starting to smell sweet, gero.” Jacen laughed, hopping around Donut again. “What is it, Daddy? Why are you scared, gero?”

“I-I…,” Donut was stunned. What he saw in the photos was making his stomach churn like butterflies, and his heart was fluttering like no tomorrow. Once he got his voice back and his brain fully processed what he was seeing, he yelled, “TSU! WE’RE HAVING TRIPLETS!!??”

All Tsu did was smile and nod, rubbing her three-month baby bump while Jacen and Eliza were jumping and running around their father. Donut just stood there, trying to process again on having to raise three more children plus the two and having to spoil the five of them rotten. The next thing he thought brought him somewhat down to earth: the apartment they are currently living in will not be enough for a future family of seven.

Suddenly, Jacen noticed another piece of paper inside Tsu’s bag, with something pinkish orange printed. He jumped off his father with his Frog Jump Quirk and picked up the paper. “Mommy, why do I see four pink circles, gero?”

“Wait…what did you say?” Donut asked his son, the butterflies in his stomach becoming cold like ice and his legs starting to feel numb as realization slowly hit him. Jacen hopped toward his father and turned the photo so he could see, pointing at a small blob barely showing from the three others in front of it. “Is this inside Mommy’s tummy? Why are there four, gero?”

Eliza giggled. “I think Mommy is getting us four sisters.”

“F-four?”

“No, I want four brothers. Gero!!”

“Triplets…plus 1?”

“Jacen, Eliza, the genders will be a surprise, whether they will be all boys, all girls, or a mix they will still be your siblings. You two will be big brother and sister, kero.”

“Okay!!” they both said before a thud was heard behind them. 

Masked Donut had passed out when he put the pieces together of now becoming a family of eight. 

“Gero, Daddy must have been tired—it is typhoon season.”

“Yes, but Daddy has never passed out like this before. Is he sick?” Eliza asked, poking at Donut’s cheek to wake him up. He didn’t even budge, even when she tried tickling him. 

Tsu arrived with a pillow and comforter. “He was just surprised, kero. He’d only just processed having triplets when Jacen discovered my hidden photo. Four is a lot more than we were expecting.”

“Oh, so it’s Jacen’s fault?”

“Nu-uh, gero! It’s Mommy’s! She has them in her belly!”

Tsu giggled and pinched both their cheeks. “That’s right, kero. Mommy is making babies so be prepared. We have about six months left before they arrive.” She looked at her husband who was now snoring soundly. “For now, let Daddy suffer a bit; he did start the cooking, after all, kero. Now, let's eat dinner and we’ll save some for your father when he wakes up.”

“Okay!!”

If the Swan Fits

Who was he?

Who was the kind gentleman who had come to the ball and danced with Prince Sanji? He was so elegant, kind-hearted, and so full of life that the Prince wanted to know more. All he had gotten was the name Bentham Bon Clay until the clock tower started to chime 12 bells.

“Oh my, I am sorry, my prince but I have to sashay away. My time is running out.” He said, before sashaying away, leaving the prince stunned before coming to his senses.

“O-oi, wait! Where can I find you?” The Prince yelled, only to be heard by deaf ears as he chased the man, rushing down the steps and slowly catching up to him until Bentham kicked a nearby marble pillar, blocking his path as he entered the chariot and fled. 

Many of his servants were asking him if he was ok while he kicked and moved some of the marble to pick up a long swan neck that he saw fall off during the collapse. It looked like it could fit on the tip of a ballet shoe, extending the reach like a swan striking an enemy. 

King Zeff was not surprised that his son wanted to find this Bon Clay, as he could see that the fella gave Sanji a spark in his eyes he hadn’t seen since the passing of his mother, the Queen. “You do what you need to do to find happiness, Baby Eggplant.” He dodged a kick from his son and chuckled at his reaction. “You know damn well if I say no and threaten to put you in the dungeons you would find a way to escape and disobey my orders.”

“Damn right, I would you Old Geezer!”

“You watch who you are talking to! I may be old but I can still bend your ass over!” King Zeff yelled, slamming a heel on the top of his son’s head. “Don’t do anything stupid, and…” 

Sanji glared at his father before noticing him turning around, facing away from him. “Keep your nose clean, you got that?” The prince nodded at the King’s approval and with his selected men, he had set out across the Chef Kingdom for the mystery man, eventually branching out to other neighboring lands and islands. 

Years had passed, and Prince Sanji had lost hope a few times before it was renewed by the Captain and his crew of the Thousand Sunny. Captain Luffy would always laugh, saying that is the fun of the adventure, and if you believe strongly enough you will be rewarded soon. 

They had reached the last island of the Paradise Region, also known as Peachy Island. Prince Sanji’s heart began to flutter again as he took notice of the residents who lived there. They were a mixture of men who took in feminine features, women taking in masculine features, and even those who took in both. 

They look just like Bon, could it be I had found him? Sanji thought as the Captain and his crew marveled at the island. One of them, however, was not happy.

“We came here to look for some trans? Now I know why King Zeff had you leave the Kingdom, you are a disgrace!”

“HELL WINK!”

An explosion hit the discriminatory man, flinging him across the mast before the Captain’s Shipwright tied him to that same mast and a Sharpshooter shoved a tabasco ball down his throat.

Prince Sanji thanked the crew before turning to the person who did the strike. “Sorry about that, I didn’t think one of my selected men would be so…transphobic.” He tried to think of another more appropriate word but decided to rip off the bandaid and be upfront.

“Don’t worry your gorgeous little head, my Prince.” The person said, who upon closer inspection was a tall man wearing a female leotard and a see-through fishnet cape. “We have dealt with a few rotten eggs here and there.” He then bowed low. “My name is Emporio Ivankov, the Queen of Peachy Island. How can I be of service?”

“I have been looking for someone who came to my ball about three years ago.” Sanji started and brought out the swan tip. “He had left this while they were escaping and I have searched all over the South Blue and now Paradise to look for him.”

Queen Ivankov looked at the item with a smirk. “That is an Okama-made item all right, however, I can tell with one look none of us ladies and gentlemen would fit it. This was specially made by none other than my partner Inazuma here.” He said, pointing to a shorter female with clothing and hair split evenly in colors white and yellow. “She may provide further answers.”

Inazuma walked up and eyed every detail of the swan tip. “Yes, I have made this for Bentham Bon Clay.”

The prince perked up at the name. “You know him? Is he here? Where can I find Bon?”

Her features changed and sounded worried. “Bentham is a manservant at Baroque Hall, right over yonder past the Doki Doki Forest. Sir Crocodile and his two children Doublefinger and Valentine live there.

Prince Sanji narrowed his eyes in concern. “What can you tell me about this…Sir Crocodile and his daughters?”

“Sir Crocodile runs an organization called Baroque Works and he has over 5,000 men under his command.” Queen Ivankov said with a frown, tapping his foot in frustration. “He and his daughters treat everyone like slaves or filth. My heart aches for those who are forced to serve under him. As a Queen of Kamabakka Queendom, I should be able to tell him what to do, however, he is in a region where I have no such power…”

Queen Ivankov cried for those lost souls and his people followed, and broke the hearts of the Prince, his men, and the crew of the Thousand Sunny. Captain Luffy put a hand on the prince’s shoulder, lightly squeezing as to let him know that he and the crew will follow wherever he goes.

Sanji nodded and stood at his full height, exhibiting the aura of the future King of Chef Kingdom. “How do I visit this…Crocodile?”

“Bentham! Get over here and clean up this room! It’s a mess!!”

“Right away, Miss Valentine. I will have it cleaned up in no time!” Bon Clay replied with a smile, refusing to let this woman ruin his mood. He began cleaning the damaged room with a wide broom and swept the pieces of wood, glass, and swept them into a large pile before putting them in the trash bins. 

Valentine snorted and kicked a nearby laundry bin. “While you are at it, rewash these, they should be white, not yellow! Use the right soap next time!” She then stormed off, obviously irked that she wasn’t getting the reaction for that queer to get punished. He seemed too chipper and she hated it. It must be one of his freak days.

Bon was internally raging, but he refused to give them any satisfaction of punishing him again. They beat him daily for being an Okama, sometimes poorly made food, or mixing up their laundry and ruining the colors. Those were mild compared to three years ago when they found out he went to the Chef Kingdom’s Ball, and they were not kind.

That’s what was putting him in a good mood. He heard that after three years, Prince Sanji was in Kamabakka Queendom and on this very island. All he had to do was finish cleaning the mess this lemon bitch has caused, wash the laundry, and he will be on his merry way to get groceries for dinner. Or that is what he had let them believe. He was ready to leave this hell and reunite with the Prince of Chef Kingdom. 

While he was taking the debris out a knock was heard at the door. Bon sighed and put the debris down to answer the door but someone beat him to it, Sir Crocodile. He was sure he was going to get yelled at for not answering quickly enough, but when he heard the gentle voice of the Prince, he turned to look back in shock. 

“How can I help you?” Sir Crocodile said with a deep growl, staring at the intruder with a passionless expression. He was surprised that the prince from the Chef Kingdom was here and talking to him.

“Good afternoon, sorry to disturb you, but I have received word that a person I am searching for may be here. Would it be possible if I take a look?” Prince Sanji bowed, subtly looking around before seeing a tall man staring back at him briefly before being yanked away by what looked like an umbrella hook. 

Sir Crocodile growled and didn’t want to let the brat in, however, the Chef Kingdom was no Kingdom to sneeze at and he lived on an island of Kamabakka Queendom that barely made a note of themselves 50 years ago. “You may enter,” He said and stepped aside, allowing the Prince in. “My daughters should be downstairs shortly, I will ring for my servants.”

Ok, so far so good. The prince thought as he walked in, pretending to admire the artwork in the foyer. “Amazing decor, it reminds me of Alubarna in Arabasta Kindom. Were you originally from there?”

“Not really, I used to visit Arabasta in my youth and eventually found a wife who bore me two daughters. She passed shortly after the birth of my youngest, Valentine. A risk she was willing to take to ensure our legacy.”

“My condolences.” Sanji bowed, before looking up at the maids, manservants, and Sir Crocodile’s two daughters. They were both tall but one had deep blue afro-like hair and another was lemon blonde. He took notice of the umbrella that had lemon patterns on the parasol.

“Welcome to our home, Chef Prince.” The eldest bowed, eyeing every detail of the man. “My name is Doublefinger, my sister’s is Valentine.” She pointed to her sister, the lemon blonde and she too bowed. “These are our servants.”

The maids and manservants bowed, and he returned the favor. He noticed that Bon was not in the crowd and that raised his suspicions. “Thank you,” He then returned to his full height, getting everyone’s attention. “Afternoon, my name is Prince Sanji from Chef Kingdom. Three years ago a person arrived at the ball my father, King Zeff, was hosting and I am currently looking for them.”

The servants stood still but for the keen eyes, Sanji noticed a few of their eyes shifted in fear, more specifically at their master. He then pulled out the swan neck item. “I am looking for the person who has the other half of this, and it is designed to fit them.” He looked over the servants again before looking at Sir Crocodile. “If we have found a match then by the request of King Zeff and myself, would like to bring them back with me to Chef Kingdom.”

Sir Crocodile’s eye twitched. “By what authority does the Chef Kingdom have by forcing me to release the chosen servant? You are outside your kingdom and you have no power over me and who works under me.”

Prince Sanji smiled. “No, I don’t.” He then slowly turned and glared back at the man. “I do, however, have information of the Billions who are under your command. Why is it you have them inside our kingdom? What right do you have for ignoring a kingdom’s decree of peace?”

“What absurd accusations,” The man growled, now going to full height and pointing a hook at the Prince. “You have no proof, nor will you live to find proof!”

He swung the hook down at the prince, planning to skewer him before Sanji responded with a kick, effectively stopping the hook mere inches from his skin. “I have plenty of evidence and proof, as of now, you have declared war on Chef Kingdom, and we will retaliate.” He then slammed the hook down hard, breaking the hook before kicking hard at Crocodile’s chest, sending him back a few feet.

“You shitty-” One of his daughters, Valentine, suddenly lunged at him and pointed the tip of her umbrella at the prince. She pressed a button and a blade appeared at the end, now thrusting in a fencing motion trying to skewer him before someone else jumped in and blocked it with their own sword.

Sanji smiled, “Make sure you don’t hurt her.” He said before going back to Crocodile, “We are not murderers, Zoro.”

The now-named Zoro smirked, “No promises.” The swordsman then off-balanced Valentine and with the back side of the blade, hit the vagus nerve and knocked the woman out. Once that was complete he pointed the blade tip at the eldest. “I have no issue fighting anybody, even against Baroque Works.”

Doublefinger scowled before raising her hands in defeat. “Those Billions should have killed you when you turned down our offer.” She then looked at her father who scowled disapprovingly. “Go look for your Cinderella, then leave.”

“Oh, we will,” Sanji replied then picked up Valentine, much to Crocodile’s annoyance. “Once she tells us where she has taken Bon Clay, then we will take you two to Kamabakka Queendom.” He stared at Crocodile who was now sporting a vein on his temple, visually throbbing as his blood pressure rose to dangerous levels. “However, we are also here by request of Emporio Ivankov of Kamabakka Queendom.”

Crocodile’s vein throbbed even more, and a hint of fear started to fill his mind. “What does a Trans Queen want with me? I have done nothing to his kingdom and left them in peace.”

“You have taken their sons and daughters and used them as servants and even slavery, and they have proof. You are wanted by the Queen and we will take you to face trial.” Sanji then proceeded to take Valentine upstairs and turned to Zoro and the sharpshooter who just came in after the first task they had completed. “Zoro, Usopp, make sure they don’t escape.”

“Roger.”

“You don’t need to tell me what to do.”

Minutes had passed before Valentine woke up with a headache from the strike before staring back at the Prince whose smirk was unnerving her. It didn’t take long for her to reveal that she had tied up Bentham and hid him in one of the towers. Everything was falling apart with Crocodile and his family, losing his servants, the Billions, declaring war on the Chef Kingdom, and now facing trial at Kamabakka, they would not be able to recover even a fraction of what they had lost.

 The people of Peachy Island treated Bentham to travel health before the Prince asked him to come back to the Chef Kingdom with him and his crew. The Okama man hugged him tightly with tears flowing heavily, smearing whatever makeup he had. “I would love to return to you, my Prince. For years I have thought about you and the heartache of me having to leave you. Please forgive me for my unplanned exit.”

Prince Sanji just chuckled and returned the hug, much gentler. “I have almost given up if it weren’t for my crew, and I am glad they never let my hope die out. Bentham, you are amazing and beautiful, and I knew we were meant to be after that dance. You have passion for what you believe and what you love. I would like you to be my partner and live with me at the castle, and together when the time comes we rule as King and Queen of Cheff Kingdom.”

“Oh that reminds me,” Sanji said suddenly and pulled out the swan neck. “I believe this belongs to you. I was searching far and wide looking for the person who can fit this swan. Many have tried to claim over the years that it was theirs, but with my observant eyes, none of them would be a perfect fit.”

Bentham smiled with a pout. “Of course, it was designed for moi only, I am the only person who the swan will fit.”

Both laughed and sailed back to the Chef Kingdom, and King Zeff welcomed them back with open arms. The Prince has returned with his mate, Crocodile, and Baroque Works had fallen, and Crocodile will forever be in Impel Down, as his daughters faced community service with the Okamas of Kamabakka Queendom.

Te Amo

A chilly wind came from the south, indicating that soon winter would arrive in La Casa de Madrigal. When provided the wood, Casita would start the fires and tend to them so that her residents could wake in warmth and comfort.

Though, for two, there was much more than warmth from the hearth. Pepa, Dolores, and Mirabel knew there was love brewing between the “Theatric Kid” and a foreigner they had allowed to live with them for the time being.

That morning Camilo and their guest, Aria, were sitting down having breakfast with Pepa, while Dolores and Mirabel were getting food from the kitchen. Julieta was cooking whatever delicious food her heart desired. 

Pepa decided to do a little tease with the two. “Camilo, are you going to ask Aria out or what?”

Camilo spat his drink out while Aria stared at Pepa in shock, turning beet red at the sudden question. “W-what? Mama, why ask such a sudden question? We are just friends.”

Aria snorted yet looked kind of sad that the boy sitting next to her claimed to only be friends with her. She knew that he probably wasn’t aware but that gave him some charm. 

“Don’t be silly, hermano,” Dolores whispered, bringing more food over with Mirabelle. “Aria thinks highly of you and wants to be with you. She loves you. Not sure why, you are just an overdramatic brother. Hm.” Aria blushed and chuckled a bit at being caught too, slightly shrinking into her chair when Mirabelle laughed and continued the teasing.

“Dolores, don’t be mean to Camilo. You know he might not realize it, especially when he makes everyone happy,” Mirabelle said, chuckling as well. “It is obvious though that he smiles more with Aria around.”

Aria decided to speak up then, now that the cat was out of the bag. “Well, yeah. Who doesn’t love him? He fills my heart with nothing but warmth and sunshine.”

Camilo looked at Aria in shock. “Wait, you love me!?” He was confused. “How can you love someone who doesn’t have his own personality? All I do is mimic…” He said after shapeshifting into Aria, looking at her with those same ruby eyes. “What do you see in me that I haven’t yet discovered?”

Aria looked at him with a soft yet mysteriously pure smile that left him breathless “I always have loved you, way before I got to know you. You made me smile when I was down and confused. You tend to others when they need help, and the kids adore you for your energy and charisma. You have a golden heart and your soul is pure. I see you as you, Camilo. Even with all your transformations, you can’t change your soul. Your charm is what makes me complete.”

Camilo looked into Aria’s eyes as he slowly transformed back to himself. They were so bright and clear like crystals, showing no doubt that what she said was true. He smiled and grasped his now-girlfriend’s hand, kissing her knuckles gently before leaning together to touch her forehead. “I guess all I needed was you to reveal who I truly am. I love you too, Aria.”

Atem's Last Adventure

Yugi was nervous, but it was nothing compared to the ache in his heart knowing that his spiritual friend Atem, who had been with him for several years, would have to leave now that Zorc Monster was defeated and return to the Shadow Realm.

Yugi, for the hundredth time, stop overthinking. It is hard enough for me to say goodbye soon when you flood me with your thoughts and emotions.

“S-Sorry. You and I have been together for years ever since I solved the Millennium Puzzle and I see you as a big brother of sorts. Hard to say goodbye to someone who is like family.”

A big brother? Atem chuckled as he gave it some thought. I guess that fits considering all the trouble you and our friends seem to get into.

“Hey! A good portion of it was because of your reincarnated enemies!” Yugi yelled back, huffing as he put on the choker. “Luckily, now that you have your memories you remembered a spell that lets others see you for 24 hours.” Yugi chuckled lowly, causing Atem to sweat nervously as his host blocked his ‘thoughts’. “You know Teia will be using that to her fullest.”

Atem chuckled nervously, aware that she was a plan demon and would create an entire itinerary in one day.

“You two are late!” Teia yelled, glaring at Yugi and Atem while Joey and Tristan snickered behind her, pointing at the duo. Yugi apologized profusely while Atem just gave an eye twitch of annoyance. “What took you so long?!”

“We happened to run into Kaiba and Mokuba on the way here,” Yugi said, removing his shoes before sitting on the picnic blanket. “He was saying goodbye to Atem in his own…unique way.”

Joey snorted and laughed. “If you mean giving a long-winded speech about losing one of his rivals and having a slight ego trip, then yeah, then that sounds like Kaiba all right! Always complicates things.” 

“True but in a way it is refreshing. The Seto I knew had the same persona, and he was a dear friend to me. He may be crass, but Seto has a pure heart.” Atem replied and sat next to Yugi before being handed the sandwiches and drink. “So after this what do we have planned?”

Teia smiled. “Well, after this we will go to the amusement park, then shopping though I know it will be pointless since you won’t be able to take the items home, but there are a few outfits on sale I need to get, then the movies will be after this followed by dinner…” She continued to  list everything in her planner, again causing Yugi and Atem to sweat nervously, and Joey and Tristan fell asleep within a minute of her monologue. “Then we can take an hour to two break before the night festivities in Kyoto before watching the sunrise at the Shrine!”

“Teia, we are supposed to give Atem a fun time not run him ragged,” Joey replied after waking up. “Besides, there are things we want to do with him, it wouldn’t be fair if we just use your list. I mean, I want to show him one of the best eating joints where I haven’t even shown Yugi yet.”

“Joey’s right, we should be mindful of others' choices, including Atem’s. After all, he will have to leave in a few days.” 

The mood suddenly changed to something somber, their hearts aching at the thought of their friend leaving. They may not have known Atem as long as Yugi, but they have had so many adventures together that he was one of them.

Joey suddenly chuckled, remembering the day they officially met Yugi’s Alter Ego. “Remember the first time we met?”

Tristen snapped his fingers at the memory. “That’s right! We’d been trapped in our favorite cards by Yami Bakura and that was when we got introduced to Atem, or at that time Yugi’s Alter Ego.” Everyone chuckled at the remembrance.

“Yeah, a complete surprise to us all. Talk about a difference in personalities, and height! Itte!” Joey hissed in pain as Yugi slapped him in the back of his head, huffing at the height jab. He glared at Yugi before grabbing him in a light choke hold, bringing him close, and noogied his head. “You are the runt of the group, Yugi, even Yami/Atem here is a few inches taller!”

Everyone laughed as Yugi struggled to get free from Joey’s grasp before finally being released, huffing and glaring at the offender before laughing himself. “Yeah, it was definitely a weird experience, and feeling the magic of the cards was interesting. Atem protected us as much as possible too when our lives were put in a dangerous situation.”

“Don’t remind me,” Joey shuddered as he remembered almost disappearing from life and the Shadow Realm. “I was seconds away from that Reaper taking my soul. Monster Reborn was the Ace I didn’t know I needed.”

“Too bad it didn’t help improve your intelligence.” Tristen snickered, before leaning back as Joey went bighead.

“HEY!!”

Everyone laughed again at the interaction, and Atem was smiling at the familial rivalry the duo had, again reminding him of the rivalry between him and his cousin Seto a millennia ago. They battled constantly to improve their abilities to summon monsters, rivals even to this era.

“You know,” Atem sighed, getting the attention of his friends. “This has been an amazing adventure. From meeting Yugi and helping with not-so-normal duels, getting to know everyone and rediscovering my name, to saving the world from a millennia-sealed monster, I can’t think of anything more fun than dealing with challenges alongside my friends.”

“Hell yeah!” Joey agreed. “It beats a normal life any day!”

“Well, it beats my old life that's for sure.” Yugi looked down as he remembered the bullying in middle school. “I never had any friends until I solved the puzzle. You gave me the courage to stand up for what I believe in. I am blessed to have the friends that I have now and will have in the future.” 

Atem’s lips slightly wobbled as an emotion tried to escape him before putting a hand on Yugi’s shoulder. “Well, now you have friends to continue your adventure. Mine will be in another Realm, but no matter what I will always have you all in my heart.”

Everyone hugged Atem, nearly crushing his ribcage from their monster strength. “I-I don’t think I want to enter the Realm this way, guys…”

Again everyone laughed before Teia looked at her watch and squeaked, yelling at them to finish and pack up before the movie started. She may not have been using all of her itinerary, but she was not going to let him miss the movie, no matter what.

Overheat

Natsu woke up sweating one morning, his body aching and shivering like the flu, and he felt hot. He hated that feeling: the heat radiating from him like he was a nuclear reactor, then combined with the chills and shivers, the lethargy and nausea. It was way different than the magma sensation he was used to with his type of magic.

He knew he wasn’t sick, because this had happened before. Around seven years ago, he suffered the same…condition, and when Master Makarov had sent him to Porlyusca for treatment, it took a few days for her to figure out what was wrong. It wasn’t until Porlyusca asked Gray to come over and try cooling the Flame Mage down that anything worked. 

As it turned out, it was something rare that affected only flame-based mages, known as Overheat. Overheat usually happens with Ancient Magic or mages with a potent, magical core. Natsu had not only a powerful core, but Flame Dragon Slayer Magic, an Ancient and Lost Magic that was one of the most powerful since it was developed by a dragon to combat dragons.

Now it was happening again where his magic was overwhelming his body. He struggled to escape his hammock without feeling dizzy or falling over completely. Both failed as vertigo slammed into him the moment he took a step, sending his vision swirling. A massive cramp hit his stomach and bile burned his throat as he landed on all fours and threw up last night’s dinner.

“F-fuck…” Natsu moaned, spitting out the bitter taste before crawling to the corner of the room. “This sucks.”

“Yeah, seeing you in that condition really does suck, Natsu,” Someone said softly across the room. “Last time wasn’t pretty either.”

With Overheat burning through him and preventing his vision from focusing, he could barely see the tall raven-haired man standing before him. His nose was still somewhat functioning though, so he recognized his friend. “Gray…sorry, still learning the trigger…on this Over…heat.”

Gray walked over and began to cool the surrounding area. Even halfway across the room from the pinkette, he could already feel the intense heat radiating off him. “Well, this is only your second time. However, since it was about 7 years ago, our Celestial Mage may have figured out the trigger for it.”

Natsu lifted his head somewhat. “Lucy? W-what did she find out?”

“I don’t know if you know that the sun has solar max cycles, but it happens on average every 9-11 years.” He said, sitting next to him now and putting his hands together to start his Ice-Make Magic. “Apparently, it’s reaching its peak early right now, so if she is right you will feel like this for a few days until your body readjusts to the surge.”

Natsu gasped and shuddered in bliss as Gray’s Ice Magic surrounded him and encased the corner of the room in a cocoon of ice. Immediately the excess heat started to bleed away and his heat-radiating skin no longer looked pink or flushed. The cramping and nausea also slowly faded, following the slight reduction of lethargy. The Overheat was starting to fade away, and he chuckled as he became more alert. “Thanks, Gray. So I will be going for a rough ride until then. At least it will be tolerable with you around.”

Gray smirked back as he noticed the change in Natsu’s complexion and reaction, showing that the Overheat was fading. “Like I said last time this happened, I’ve got you. You may be a pain in the ass, but you are still my best mate.”

End of a Hero

Uraraka Ochako woke up with a migraine and scanned the area, trying to figure out where she was until she realized she was shivering, arms tied above her and some kind of gag was in her mouth.

“Mff mfmmmph!” She tried to use her Quirk to lift her higher to the top so she can remove the chains but it became futile when she felt her feet tug at the chains below her, preventing any kind of leverage. 

Damn, just my luck. I need to get out of here, and fast.  The brunette tried thinking of something while trying to gauge the information of who she was scoping. Her agency had asked her to look at the last known location of this Mother Hen and see if she can find any evidence of sex trafficking or exploitation. 

She gladly took the case as she strongly believes that trafficking is illegal and she would gladly beat the living daylights out of the person who they say is Quirkless and can’t say shit about overuse of power. All she could say was that she had a weapon and reacted in self defense and the Agency and News will lap it up as a Heroine doing her work.

The Quirkless deserve no role in society.

Just then the curtains moved and she hissed in pain as her eyes were being stabbed by the bright morning light. She must have been out for hours as according to the sun’s position on the high-rise it was almost 10. 

“Well, looks like the kitty marshmallow took my bait.” Said a female voice right behind her, causing Uraraka to jolt and stiffen. “Now I get to play with the Quirkless discriminator.” She removed the gag to allow the brunette to talk, for now. “It took quite a bit of planning to bring you here to my hen house. How do you like it?”

“Try and you will be charged with sexual assault and battery against a peace hero.” Uraraka growled, looking at the woman with such venom. She was tall and wearing a blood red corset with the same color silk skirt with a slit between the front legs. The brunette shuddered as she saw something large underneath. “Great, a Quirkless bitch who is also a shemale. I will make your life miserable.”

The woman laughed loudly and removed her skirt, showing her prize. “Not really but I have this nice toy ready for you, though from what I can see…” She smirked as she lowered her hand to graze Uraraka’s folds, causing her to pinch her legs. “Looks like you won’t be able to handle this yet. Such a pity, an average virgin can handle 5 inches.”

A jolt of anger coursed through the brunette’s veins as she was told she could not handle an average dick. All her school years she was told she was below average. Below average in strength, speed, size, and some even had the gall to claim she can’t handle good dick. She still became a hero but they only accepted her as an office worker. She was glad they offered her this task but now it was a trap.

“Let’s see what we are working with.” Mother Hen replied and flipped on a switch, causing the chains around Uraraka’s legs to widen. She tried to keep her legs closed to keep her dignity, but she was too weak for the machines. “Oh by the way, even though we are high up the window can be seen from noon to one, so I will need to prepare you. Some guests might be coming over too, they are excited to play with a Hero.”

“I will ruin yo-mmmph!” Mother Hen shoved the gag back into her mouth and tightened it, causing Uraraka to gag from the shape. She had replaced the original gag with one that has a dildo at the end.
