In the Fall of 2008, PRIDE Dance Competition was created with the intention of celebrating a modern universal culture that is encompassed by elements of fashion, music, art and dance. Although every individual is of a diverse origin and with different traditions, this modern universal culture knits us all together in an impenetrable bond. The Dance Competition itself has become an outlet for crews from all over the east coast to express themselves and presents the audience an opportunity to support and celebrate in this inﬂuential and progressive culture.

PRIDE 5 is in FOUR DAYS! You will be seeing Mos Wanted Crew's Lando Wilkins, Bam Martin, Jawn Ha, Movement Lifestyle's Ellen Kim and Amanda Suk, and Rhythm City's Alonzo Williams!!! Purchase those tickets! See you THIS SATURDAY, November 17 at the NJ Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, NJ Remember we will be collecting items and monetary donations for Hurricane Sandy. On November 17th, 2012, PRIDE 5 will be hosted at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, New Jersey. Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. has been a loyal sponsor of Pride Dance Competition and have teamed up to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. If you are interested in helping out the local community we will be collecting the following items at our booth at PRIDE 5 for RAFFLE TIX AND PRIZES!!! • Adult Diapers (Medium & Large)

• Child Diapers (Medium & Large) • Deodorant • Disposable Razors • Toothbrushes • Toothpaste • Men’s and Women’s underwear • Lactose-free milk • Canned Fruit • Dry Pasta • Protein Bars • Cereal • Band Aids • Decaf Coffee & Tea • Feminine products Monetary Donations will be accepted and be donated to Wish Upon A Hero. ---- Any donations received at PRIDE 5 will go towards the Hurricane Sandy Relief Night hosted by Rutgers Kappa Phi Lambda, Rutgers alpha Kappa Delta Phi, Rutgers Sigma Psi Zeta, Rutgers Lambda Phi Epsilon, and Rutgers Pi Delta Psi. This event will be the day after PRIDE 5 on Nov. 18th from 8:30 - 10:30 pm. Donations will be accepted that day as well at the Red Lion Cafe on College Ave at Rutgers University.
