The exchange is open to works that are character studies (solo), general (friendship, non-romantic/sexual), or ship-focused (romantic/sexual) in nature. Any creator willing to create a new fanfic or fanart piece within the deadline is welcome!

I see the light surrounding you

The chair is large enough for both of them, so Felassan curls up beside Solas, and the sea and the sky are so big and silver that they manage to quiet even his unquenchable mirth. He lies there beneath the stars, his head against Solas' chest, his collarbones rising and falling. Enclosed in that great luminescence he seems small, and young, and terribly vulnerable.

Felassan is just an anonymous soldier in Fen'Harel's rebellion, until a routine mission goes wrong and he is forced to make a perilous journey alone with the Rebel Wolf.

At first Felassan finds Solas deeply obnoxious - then, somehow, things change. A tentative connection is born between them in that remote place. But can it survive the return to the Lighthouse?

Now that creators are revealed I'm sharing the piece I wrote for @nateeseart.

Nateese's art and style makes me feel like I'm staring upon beautiful stained glass windows. So I wanted the piece I wrote to be connected to the concept of divine symbols, how history can be altered and coloured perspectives. There are 3 perspectives in this piece.

I was really pleased to write something for Nateese who contributes so much wonderul art to the Dragon Age world (and Solavellan).

A snippet: By the Grace of the Maker, I come before you today, Revered Mothers, Grand Clerics, and our Most Holy Divine Victoria, that the purity of the Maker’s truth may be preserved for generations to come. We are gathered to consider a matter of grave consequence: whether the records of recent history—those concerning the Herald of Andraste and her association with Fen'Harel—ought to be preserved in their current form, or guided toward greater clarity that remains in accordance with the Chant.

Solas knows that Felassan is only doing this to get under his skin. Solas knows that of all the petty revenges this is the easiest and most effective for Felassan to do. He knows all of this and yet still all he can do is sit across the campfire from Felassan and watch through the smoke. It is insufferable how the two of them carry on. It is all Felassan, for Solas has had a chance to speak with Hal a number of times and he does not seem the type to do such things. Felassan can be, however, extremely convincing, something Solas knows well from experience.

A Rivaini pirate once said that there are many facets to a story and many truths. That as the Ages pass only some of that prevails to become the unequivocal truth, the one known story. That in due time it doesn’t even matter what the actual events were, for the legend has taken on a life of its own. Not many heed his words, for he was verily drunk when he said them. Sadly, Solas couldn't agree more.
