My collection of clothing references for writing.
Ya know what , I’m adding. Here are more useful references that I use;
Julius Schmid (1854-1935), Beethoven, 1901, oil on canvas, 95 x 145 cm. Wien Museum
Norman Lindsay (1879-1969), The C sharp minor quartet, 1927, etching, engraving and stipple.
James Jebusa Shannon (1862-1923), Jungle Tales, 1895, oil on canvas, 87 x 113.7 cm. The Metropolitan Museum of Art - “Jungle Tales” portrays the artist’s wife reading to their daughter, Kitty, shown in profile, and another child. The painting’s title and date and its London origin suggest that the little group is captivated by Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book, which had appeared in 1894. The intensely realistic faces contrast with the decorative patterns of the dottedmuslin and lace costumes and the elaborate design on the brilliant blue backdrop. - Mysterious Art Century Instagram - Facebook - Twitter - Pinterest
Illustration by Louis Rhead (1857-1926) for The History of Over Sea by William Morris, 1894.
John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) was an English painter of the Victorian era known for his Pre-Raphaelites and mythological subjects. - John William Waterhouse Instagram - Facebook - Website

oh to live in a gothic manor house and spend my days reading, taking leisurely walks in the garden and finding hidden staircases to long-forgotten rooms🥀
