We were able to go over to Disney's Polynesian Resort and watch Wishes and try Dole Whip for the first time! Check it out!

THE DAY HAS ARRIVED. We all got checked in early yesterday morning and moved into our cute little apartment in Patterson with every roommate we linked with. Most of the girls spent all day unpacking, I had my Post Offer Employment Testing not long after check in, then casting straight after that, than had lunch with Maddie, Mara and Mara’s family. We got done with lunch and finally everyone came home and it was the first time we were all officially together. We did our roommate gifts and then spent the night in Disney Springs to say goodbye to my family. Today half of the girls have casting and the other half of us have our housing meeting. Hopefully after the housing meeting I’ll be able to actually unpack because I haven’t been able to do that yet. But that was yesterday! It was super busy and chaotic but I’m excited to see what today brings!

Pssssst, hiya💕💕 I just came across your blog and was curious? What exactly is the Disney College Program? What and where are you studying that landed you in this wonderful place? O.o

Hi Hailey! The Disney College Program is a 4-8 month paid internship in either Florida or California with the Walt Disney Company. You work at one of the parks or resorts and earn college credit through your college depending on where you go. You need to be at least 18 years old and have at least one semester of college done before applying for the program. I am currently attending Arkansas State University and although I do not earn college credit through my college (because the internship doesn't correspond with my major), I'm still incredibly blessed to be able to take part in such an amazing opportunity with one of the most well respected companies in the world! ❤️

DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM COUNTDOWN: 35 days!!! Check-In is in 35 days!!! My journey to Orlando, Florida begins in 31 days but I officially start my career with Disney 5 weeks from today!!

Day in and day out I am asked "Okay but you're an adult, why do you go to Disney World so much?" Why do I enjoy going to Disney World so much? Well if you really need to know, I enjoy going to Disney World because every trip is different. No two trips are ever the same. You can go to the parks and do everything the same and your experience will be different every time. The cast members go out of their way to make sure you're having the best trip you've ever gone on, whether it's your first time or your 30th. I like Disney World because it's the only part of my childhood that has been completely consistent and I could always count on going back to. Moving around a lot as a kid, you never knew if you'd go back to the place you had the most fun in or enjoyed the most, but always taking trips to Disney World was something I could count on and it became my new "home". No matter what I have on my mind or going on in my life, I can go to Disney World and forget about EVERYTHING. Forget about every single thing that's stressing me out and I get to be a little kid again. It's my happy place and it's where I go when I feel like things are getting too tough. That's why I go to Disney World so much. THAT is why I cannot wait to start my internship in the Most Magical Place on Earth. I can't wait to help families create memories that they'll remember for a life time. I can't wait to be apart of the magic. I can't wait to work for such an amazing company that has done so much for me as a child.
