So how come men are getting told that they are ‘smarter’ and ‘gods’ and women are told they are baby making factories? And it wasn’t just those two there was so many saying that men are ‘better’ and all this other stuff. What is actually wrong with you? If you don’t know why this is wrong you are a misogynistic idiot who needs to grow up. For the men saying this you need to sit down shut up lower your ego and if you are a woman saying this you need to take a blast to the past and have a look at how women were treated back then because you clearly have no idea. Why do we continue to dehumanise women and act as if they are just bodies for men to use? Are we not the same? If not how so? Women are smart and women are strong and women can think for themselves and they are NOT a baby making machine they are people with goals dreams and passions and love and they are being suppressed and made into robots and zombies for men. A woman could have the same passion and dreams as a man and be as talented as him and she will never get that opportunity because the world is still so unfair. We fought for years against men and to be honest with you we still are just for the right to be respected. How sad is that? That we have to ask for your respect to make you sympathise with us for it? It’s cruel and it’s tiring and as a woman I am tired of being treated differently because I am not. I have dreams, I have so much passion I don’t know what to do with it, I have talent and I have courage but you know what I don’t have? A man’s body. What makes us so different? Just because we have the ability to make babies does not mean it is all we are made for, if that were true there would be no point in us having all these dreams and hopes and feelings. But we do so we deserve the same treatment as men. I’m tired of being perceived as helpless and being put down to be that way it feels like anything I do as a feminist is just ignored by the ignorant and I am tired and so is everyone else and now a perfectly good day is ruined thanks to misogyny yet again.

So I thought for a long time I would never post anything anywhere because I don’t care and because I feel like nobody would even look at it so it felt pointless but honestly even if nobody could look at these I would still post because it’s fun to put your thoughts out there, like have you ever caught yourself talking to yourself? Then maybe you should consider it.

{Magazines}

I collect fashion magazines mostly but collecting any others is cool because you can get inspiration for house interior, baking, fashion, and more. I think it helps build your own style.

{Gaming}

I love gaming I have so much fun little things to play games on like a DS and a Nintendo switch and a Xbox and an iPad I’m getting for my birthday and a PlayStation I can borrow and it’s all to play games because it’s such like a mindless therapeutic thing to do.

{Board Games}

My family loves a good board game or card game. We play chess, drafts, uno, frustration, and a bunch of other things I don’t know the names of. I think it’s a fun way to interact with people and see them being all competitive.

{Watch Something}

Wether it be YouTube a movie or a series or anything it’s better than doomscrolling and you can do it with family or friends and bond over it so it’s really not a bad hobby like you can actually learn quite a bit from tv believe it or not.

Okay so I have an extremely bad habit of doomscrolling like I do it when I wake up, before I go to bed, during the day whenever I can. So I want to change that so I’m gonna share some hobbies of mine you can do and that I need to start doing more.

{Read}

I love reading it’s such a fun time and it’s honestly one of my hobbies I do the most because I’m a very dreamy person I am always thinking and dreaming. I would sleep forever if I could so it’s another little escape from reality for me.

{Art}

Now I’m gonna be super broad with this because there is so much forms of art like decorating, diamond art, drawing, painting, fashion, colouring, makeup, making jewellery, and the list goes on and on and on.

{Bake}

I love baking because honestly I love to hear how good I am at it and you get a little sweet treat and it’s kinda therapeutic doing repetitive movements that you just know.

{Exercise}

Now I hate to be that person but exercising is fun but only because it comes in so many form and I’m not only talking about gym I’m talking about gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, volleyball, football, dancing, and other little games I actually really like games where you have to run a lot and I like rugby so yeah there is so many variety’s.

{Research}

Me personally I like to be one of those people who are annoyingly smart I used to be very smart and I’ve kinda been trying to achieve that again so like taking time to research things and write it down in your own words and stuff I usually research about history because I think it’s very interesting but it can be anything.

{Music}

You can do karaoke you can play an instrument you can listen to music write music anything music is very universal everyone loves it.

{How To Live Life Like It’s The 2000s}

Okay so life is hard we all know that right? So what’s wrong with a little romanticisation? You know what I think was a pretty chill time? The 2000s so here is some small things that make you feel like you’re living in that time.

{Your Space}

I think having a clean space that you walk around in like you own it really helps you feel like you’re in a 2000s movie and going a step further walking into any space like that. I’d say the easiest way to do that is to not bring negative energy into that room like you don’t have to look perfect in it or be perfect just be you and you instantly become a main character.

{Have Fun}

Try have fun in every moment. You hate getting ready? Listen to music, watch a movie, watch a show, listen to an audiobook whatever works for you do it. Give yourself time and don’t panic helps with being carefree things that help me stop panicking is sitting down and unjumbling whatever’s going on in my brain and making myself see it’s not a big deal. Anything you struggle with or dislike make it fun and doable and when you have fun in small moments it makes your quality of life overall better.

{Maintaining Yourself}

Whatever makes you feel good or what’s good for you. Keeping up with hygiene and looking good for yourself because even when main characters are going through something they still make sure they feel good.

{Be Performative}

I am going to be the one to say it so being performative makes life fun now what I mean is like if you are in a bubble bath act like you are in one be performative relax put in a shit ton of bubbles and cross your legs and call someone and put your hair up in a messy claw clip and make it look like a scene from a movie. If something doesn’t feel like how you expected it to perform it like when I’m reading a magazine of course I have to kick my feet in the air and lay on my bed why wouldn’t I?

Now this isn’t the usual tips you would get about ‘light a candle’ or ‘read a book’ because it is all really about the attitude you bring and the scene you set like you will never see a 2000s movie where they are not having the best most performative fun chill time ever. Bye princesses xoxo

{How To Decorate Your Room}

So not to brag but I kinda consider myself queen of decorating it’s been a talent of mine since I was young I love organising and making things look pretty and I thought like I know people have a lot of trouble with stuff like that so here I am sharing my knowledge.

{Collect Random Things}

Okay so to elaborate on what I mean I collect EVERYTHING. Oh you have cardboard with a cool print? Give it to me. Oh you have a broken decoration? Lemme see what I can do with that. I stick cut out prints on my wall and I collect random broken plastic flowers and hide it in between books or bags or paper crown things you get in Christmas crackers I put those on things. I collect jellycats and hide them around my room and the list goes on so moral of the story there is always a place for something when it comes to decorating.

{Mirror Decor}

Now what I mean by that is I hang a dream catcher on one of my mirrors and on the other which is at my vanity I put my hair ties around the lights and put sunglasses on the corners and claw clips and drape things over it which make things easy to access and more decorated. I like my room to be colourful so I make everything very mismatched but the same vibe to make everything work in harmony.

{Hang Things}

Wether it’s bags being hung on something or bows or tying stuff on the end of something or even on your wall on my wall I hang art, random patterns, family, friends, memories and it doesn’t have to be organised I like to make mine look disorganised and have a lot of personality because I LOVE an organised mess.

{Books Not Worth Your Time}

Okay so I’ve already done books worth your time so now it’s time to do the opposite because I got yalls back.

{Stephenie Meyer New Moon}

Okay so I love majority of Stephenie Meyers twilight books they can drag a bit but I disliked this book a lot and don’t judge me but it’s for a petty reason. I started this book having a great time until a certain someone left for half the book and left me with Jacob Black who I dislike not too much but I did back then when I read it so it was like torture but I would recommend her if you don’t mind that the breaking dawn and midnight sun drag on for a long time I do mind so those two are not gonna be all that high up my list either but the other books are cinema.

{Ana Huang Twisted Love}

Okay so there’s a reason I was so mad about this one and that is because it was my first book after years of a slump and it disappointed me. It had potential but towards the end I was like ehhh? Like I thought they were cool separately but together I didn’t love and the end was cringy I couldn’t. I loved them in the other books though and on that note the other books are fire I actually read majority of her books they are repetitive which make them a comforting read to fall back on.

Now I am well aware that was only two but I am actually not picky about books really, like even knowing I didn’t love them I would read them again if I had to. There is two I have also dnf but I will go back to them because they are in a series that I need to finish but yeah I’d take my dislike for them very lightly because for some reason the ones I hate the most are the most loved. {Books Worth Reading}

So I’ve been struggling with reading lately. Not been able to find the motivation and not having time or the focus so I thought why not share books that I have been LOCKED in on in the past to maybe help others in my position?

{Leigh Bardugo Shadow And Bone}

I read this book in literally one day and wouldn’t put it down. I read it in the bath, when I should’ve been asleep, in the morning instead of getting ready, instead of going on my phone which is a bad habit of mine. I think it has a really cool vibe and really interesting turns and I’m just dying to read the next book.

{Holly Jackson Five Survive}

The ending was heartbreaking I couldn’t get over it I just laid there in shock for like 10 minutes because it was so insane. I HATED Oliver he was written so perfectly annoying that I’m annoyed she was so good at writing him. I’ll always wonder about what happened after the book ended.

{Megan Lally That’s Not My Name}

While we are on the topic of thrillers this was my first one. I adored to two povs and the characters and I loved how angry the main character was like she felt relatable (in some ways?)

{Tahereh Mafi Shatter Me Series}

Now I’m throwing the WHOLE series in here because I genuinely loved every single one I’ve read like the first book had me wondering what happened to Juliette, the second was like I LOVE WARNER, the third was I LOVE THEM, the fourth was like crying screaming shock, and I am on the fifth wish me luck?

Anyways I lowkey know ball in my opinion and if I was you I would trust my opinion because although I like books most people might not I made sure not to include ones I feel might just be a me thing or not universal because it’s easier to read books when you know for a fact it will hit like whenever I’m in a slump I read the shatter me series and that works for me or a thriller. {Summer Body Spray Recommendations}

{My Apple Crumble Recipe}

I made this recipe for family and friends and they loved it and I have worked to perfect it because some people make the apples sour or the crumble tasteless and I have made it so that you avoid that. Also this is one serving if you are making it for more people just double it for each person.

Ingredients

50 grams of flour

A block of butter

35 grams of castor sugar

5 grams of cinnamon

A cooking apple

Items

A mixing bowl

Something to measure with

Spoon

Peeler

Knife

Something to bake it in

Chopping board

Instructions

Preheat to 200 degrees

Get a mixing bowl and 50 grams of flour and put it in the bowl with a block of butter and make it into breadcrumbs using ur fingers to pick lumps up like almost rub your fingers together to make it into breadcrumbs and if you’re making it for like a large amount of people I’d recommend splitting it into two bowls to make it manageable

Add 25 grams of sugar and 5 grams of cinnamon and mix it with your spoon until it’s mixed all the way through don’t push down on it though keep it as breadcrumbs

Peel your cooking apple and cut it down the middle of the core and then cut the halves into more halves and then cut out the core on those slices and then cut them into squares not too chunky and not too small and lay it flat on whatever you’re putting in the oven there should be no space left

Get roughly 10 grams of sugar and put it evenly over the apples

Put the breadcrumbs on top of the apples evenly and pat it down gently with a spoon making sure not to squish it down

Put it in the oven and only take it out when the edges are golden brown

Add anything you want on top

Some hidden gems that need to be talked about more.

Anastasia

Anastasia has a really good plot and good characters Anastasia is a really strong woman and Dimitri is very clever and they have a good dynamic and the songs are majestic af and it’s my favourite Disney movie.

Wall-E

Wall-E is actually so woke honestly it’s like reading a classic that is just so magical in the way Disney is.

Croods

Croods is actually really interesting the way they live is just entertaining in my opinion it’s such a good time.

Bolt

Bolt is just so perfect for people who like action and the Disney vibe and honestly really like eye catching like it would distract me from my homework.

Good Dinosaur

Good dinosaur is unrealistic but it’s fun to watch at the start the dinosaurs farm and they talk and get angry when animals ruin their crops like humans.

{Unique Things To Do With Friends}

I have done all of these things personally and had a lot of fun and I’m sure some of you will too!

Bedazzle School Tie

If you go to a school with uniform it could help give your uniform individuality but if you don’t you could always do it on any tie!

I went to Hobbycraft for everything I got which includes a fabric glue (make sure to buy one that binds metal/plastic) and gems that match it. I got love heart shaped ones and put them on using tweezers and you leave it to dry for half an hour before touching it and then leave it to cure for a day. To set the mood I’d recommend putting on some 2000s music.

Do Euphoria Inspired Eye Makeup

Euphoria is really popular at the moment and if you have leftover gems from the last activity then get some lash glue you could use them as face gems. I did a pink glittery eyeshadow and white gems around my lid and my friend did blue with the same design. Not only is it fun but great for just bonding even if it’s bad.

Make Vervain Necklaces

So some of you may know about The Vampire Diaries and as it is one of my favourite shows I saw a really cool locket and since every character on the show has a personalised one I thought maybe I could make my own and got a chain and put it on. You can also get this at hobbycraft.
