𐙚⋆.˚₊⠀𝘗𝘈𝘐𝘙𝘐𝘕𝘎: Alex Volkov x f!reader ♡
𐙚⋆.˚₊⠀𝘈/𝘕: started to do this on my first day of period and then finished it rn... 😖 I apologize for replying this late, life has been CRAZY. But I hope you like it, I love Alex sm!!!
It was the middle of the night when you opened your eyes due to the unbearable cramps that had taken over your lower belly. You let out a soft groan in pain as you tried to find a comfortable position to sleep. The pain just kept increasing, making it difficult for you to ignore it. Besides, the fact that your period decided to start at night, bothered you even more.
You didn’t want to wake Alex up, for once he seemed to be actually sleeping, so you made your way to the bathroom trying to be as quiet as possible.
“Shit” you muttered to yourself when you saw the blood on your pants. That meant that probably also the bad was dirty. You put on a clean pad and just sat there hoping that it would have got better eventually. Your arms were wrapped around your waist, debating if maybe you should take some painkillers.
“Baby?” After a few minutes Alex’s voice echoed on the other side of the door, still sounding sleepy. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah, just...” you got up, standing in front of the mirror. “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in a second!” you reassured him.
“You sure? Can I come in?” you knew that he wouldn’t have given up until he had the actual proof that you were ok. When it was about you he was always so caring, one of the many things that you loved about him.
At that point, you didn't have much choice but letting him in. “It's fine, I just got my period...” you explained. You two had recently moved in together and everyday with him had been amazing. Yet, this situation was so emberessing to you, after all you've always dealt with this alone.
His face softened when he heard your words. “Alright, come here” he picked you up as the bridal carry way, without even letting you protest.
“I can still walk on my own” you said with a little smile on your lips. You couldn’t really complain, it was pretty comfortable. He didn’t answer and just carefully carried you on the big couch of the living room.
“Doesn’t mean you have to” he then said softly, kissing your forehead. As he walked away for a moment, you still held your waist trying to ignore the pain. You were a bit confused, but when he came back with a clean pair of pants for you and a hot water bottle, you couldn’t help but smile.
“You don’t have to do all this, it’s fine...”
“Shh” he cut you off. “Let me be useful at least” he took care of you like if his whole life depended on it. He was being so adorable that it made you almost feel stupid for feeling awkward about this with him before.
He helped you to get dressed and gently placed the hot water bottle on your lower belly to relieve the pain. He even brought you some chocolate cookies and a cup of hot tea to help you to relax, turning on the tv and sitting there with you.
“If this is the treatment I’m gonna have everytime I get my period, I might get used to it” you chuckled softly.
“Distraction is the best cure” you could see a little smile on his face as he enjoyed to see how you were feeling better already. You kissed him softly, you loved this hidden side of him.
“Are you sure you want me to choose the movie?” you asked as he handed you the clicker.
“As long as it will help you to feel better” as he said those words, he placed his arm on your shoulders, pulling you closer.
“Perfect, then Titanic it is” you smiled resting your head on his shoulder as you put on the movie.
“Should have prepared the hankies” he rised his eyebrows sighing, knowing damn well how it would have ended.
“No need to, I won’t cry this time” you replied with such a confident tone, not enough to convince him though.
Eventually, you ended up falling asleep before mid-plot. Alex took you back in the bedroom where he even changed the bedsheets and laid you on the bed without disturbing you. He kissed your cheek softly and looked at you smiling, relieved from the fact that you could now sleep peacefully.
