Where have I been? LMAO

So uh... shit happened. Burned out from Diabolik Lovers RP but I've slowly regained motivation for it. Sadly, Lukas, Kai and the others will be placed into a treasure box. They got me into DL RP in the first place and I'm so happy with everything I experienced with them so far. But I'm slowly starting anew and on a new account soon. Dunno of anyone remembers them but thank you to everyone who had roleplayed with me.

"Ah... Lukas. Sure, we may be 'best friends' on paper... but at the end of the day I had no choice but to accept his companionship as a Crown Prince. Not only is his status something to be wary of, but also he's a Vibora. Out of all the races of demons in Makai, they're quite dangerous, on par with that of Founders I'd say. It's one thing to be a bloodsucking demon, but another to inject venom with every bite. And personally I'm not looking to get paralyzed any time soon. However, what initially started as aversion and even trepidation to some extent eventually evolved into something more. No matter how insufferable Lukas is, or how surprisingly naïve he is... I like him. I both dread when I will see him next and look forward to it all at the same time. How perplexing indeed. Sometimes I'm uncertain how to feel towards him, but I know I want to see him thrive. I want to witness him usurp the throne one day. More importantly than those long-term goals of his, I want to see Lukas be himself. No more of this 'primary' heart talk, or Burai intruding his life. There may be someone poisoning his heart—but Lukas has intoxicated mine."

“Thank you all for attending our wedding,” a loud voice echoed throughout the banquet hall from the center of the room after the tintinnabulations of a fork against glass rang to gather everyone’s attention. “The gift openings, followed by the grand ball, will begin in about an hour from now. Until then, please enjoy all the refreshments and events for your entertainment.”

Suffused in subtle blue hues, mellifluous music sifting through the ears of hundreds, the reception burst with the personality and sophistication of Cephalonia and the Owl clan's culture at every corner. Just as the couple asserted, many thrills awaited the guests to fully delight in and commemorate their time in the exotic venue.

“Ah, hello. We’re pleased to see you here,” said a newlywed* approaching the individual. “Care to partake in the various activities we have planned for tonight? You won’t regret it.”

“Why exactly do I have to be part of this stupid shenanigan again?” An exasperated voice catechized.

“Must I remind you again, Kei? It’s milady Irina and Ruki’s wedding today.” Fingers buttoned a dull leaden-blue coloured blazer, “It’s only right, as their friend, that we attend this important occasion. Besides, I placed a lot of effort on their wedding gifts, it would be a shame not to give it to them. So, be a dear for a long while and accompany me, yes?” He smiled brightly at his younger brother clad in nothing more than a blazer and dress pants; paired with a nice set of black, polished shoes. Kai had refused to wear a dress shirt underneath ( deeming it as annoyance. )

“I’m not their friend though.” Kai replied with a deadpanned tone, “But fine, I’ll be a good boy, I guess. Only because you need an escort! I’ll be damned if I let you go out with anyone else…” he muttered the last sentence under his breath.

The older of the two, Lukas von Alischer, was sporting a lovely, modest dress of the same colour; it covered his ink-stained skin and left none for imagination. The dress puffed on its sleeve with arms garbed with gloves; the skirt travelled below his knees with ruffled ends; and donned a sheer pair of stockings under azure heeled boots. And of course, it wouldn’t be Lukas-esque if the serpent didn’t stride with extravagance. Thus, a wide brimmed hat sat upon his head.

Lukas chuckled at his brother’s words. Must he be so adorable.

“Anyone else? The only other person I’d ask for as a date would be no other than Zaliki.”

“Exactly. That’s the problem.” Kai sharply replied with a low grunt. He had never been fond of the eagle Lukas had befriended years ago. She was loud and unnecessarily inappropriate for her status as Royalty, and while Kai could care less about those, he doesn’t particularly like its influence on his brother. Lukas was overbearing enough as he used to be, and ever since those two met, his older brother picked up a few eye-bleeding habits. It was a stab to the heart when Kai first witnessed it.

 “Well… do be in your best behaviour, Kei.” Lukas huffed at the displeased reply he received, “Zal is going to be our chauffeur to the wedding, and I don’t look forward to arriving in a haggardly manner. So that means no fighting, and definitely no verbal assaults.” He pointed out firmly, “Don’t think I don’t know about your little quarrels with one another.” He sighed, “And most of the time I had to intervene…”

And before Kai could voice out his protests, a loud knock sounded throughout their hotel room, followed by a muffled call of a certain eagle. Kai groaned in displeasure as a hand steadied his body, preventing him for falling onto his brother’s bed ( Lukas didn’t want him wrinkling his attire. )

Hurried footsteps made its way towards the front door, and with boundless glee, the door swung open and both friends met upon each other’s arms.

“Zal! You look absolutely amazing, my dear!” The serpent exclaimed, pulling back to admire his friend’s apparel.

It was a long dress with a plunging neckline and a high slit on her right leg; the back was non-existent with three chains of gold hanging against her unblemished skin; and paired off with golden gladiator heels. It was same hue of blue that all bridesmaid and men wore for the wedding.

Zaliki let out a cackle, “Amazing?! You should take a look at yourself, Lukas! That hat is going to stand the fuck out! I’d be able to spot you from a mile away!”

“Well, it felt too plain without it… And that’s not exactly my style in fashion. Wedding or not.”

“Man has his priorities established.” She snickered, “Asra is the only one who’s properly dressed for this. I doubt the douchebag would even wear a tie for this. I’m surprised you even managed to get your brother to come along. He’s a fucking slug to events.”

“Now, now… There’s no need to address my brother with such a name.” Lukas lightly poked the other’s waist, “It’s best we head off already. I’d hate to be terribly late to the event, and Asra,” he smiled at the ghoul standing behind Princess, “You look amazing as well.” He received a formal bow in return.

“Thank you, your highness. His Princeship arrives with refined grace as always.”

Lukas blinked in amusement, chuckling at the ghoul’s manner and words. He glanced at Zaliki, “Even outside of palace grounds, Asra remains flawlessly intact.” He cheekily squinted his eyes at the woman, “And I assume it irritates you so.”

The eagle grunted in agreement, “Tell me about it. I told them countless of times to drop the fucking formality but no~ Asra’s a bit of a bastard.”

The ghoul stood unaffected by their Princess’ words, and like Zaliki mentioned, Asra properly donned a blue formal suit for the event; not a wrinkle nor crease present to show.

A chuckle broke out from the serpent once more, “A tolerable bastard, I would say.” He looked back behind him and loudly called out, “KEI! COME ON, BROTHER DEAR! LET’S GET GOING! AND OH! DO CARE TO GRAB MY PURSE ON THE BED AS WELL!”

And with one last groan of reluctance, the four headed towards the wedding ( that is, of course, not without a few shouts and arguments from a certain bird-snake duo. Much to Lukas’ pleasure. )

One thing led to another, and soon, the quartet found themselves situated at the banquet hall where Cephalonic intricacies etched itself in every corner of the room. It was mystifying with rivers of blue and green, highlighting the two newlyweds of the night.

“Ah, hello. We’re pleased to see you here.” A melodious set of words greeted, followed by deeper and richer voice of the groom, “Care to partake in the various activities we have planned for tonight? You won’t regret it.”

Lukas cheekily grinned behind a glass of wine ( though it appeared untouched by lips ), “Well I do plan to stay around for a while. It seems to be entertaining enough. Although…” his ruby eyes warily glanced at his brother who stood glaringly at the corner of the hall. He was almost sure that Kai hissed at every person who even dared to approach him. “It appears my brother’s discomfort for social events steadily grows at every hour.” Lukas lowered his wine glass as a small pout settled upon his lips, a hand cupped his own cheek. “I did tell him he could leave whenever he wants to, but he's being strangely stubborn about it.” He turned his attention back to the couple, “And as for your words of pleasantries,” he sweat dropped with half a smile, “I don’t believe you’d find Zal wasting herself in alcohol and pressuring other guests to join in her drunken quest to get the bride intoxicated very pleasant to both eyes and ears.”

And as if on cue, Zaliki came boisterously to the conversation; throwing both arms around the bride and groom as she towered over with a near-empty wine bottle in hand. She devilishly grinned and cackled upon her arrival.

“HEY NOW! YOU’RE MAKING ME SOUND FUCKING BARBARIC. NOT MY FUCKING FAULT YA’LL AIN’T FUN ENOUGH!” Her voice slowly died out to chuckles. She looked over to Ruki and grinned, nodding her head as a greeting, “’Sup, pretty boy. Looking dapper as fuck. Congratulations to commitment and good luck to many more domestic fights and—” she lowered her tone, “I never said this to anyone before but don’t use protection. I better be the fucking godmother or I’ll never shut up about it. ANYWAY—” She turned away from Ruki as she firmly placed both hands on Irina’s shoulders, "I'm gonna steal your wife for a moment so both of you lads have some men talk or whatever the fuck men talk about with each other.” She quickly led Irina away, “DON’T WORRY! SHE’LL BE PERFECTLY SAFE IN MY HANDS!”

Though, that didn’t sound very reassuring.

“Well then,” Lukas blinked, “That just happened. Where’s Asra when you need them?”

The ghoul in question could be found in a similar position as Kai. Only, their eyes were settled on Zaliki’s form, making sure the rowdy Adler Princess doesn’t get ahead of herself in a formal event. Zaliki did have a streak of causing chaos in similar events. It was one of the reasons why the Princess was never left unsupervised during such occasions when she was younger. And the few times she acted properly was for serious matters only.

“They spoil her too much.” Lukas chuckled before focusing back on Ruki, “But all that aside, you seem happier now, Ruki.” He softly smiled, “It’s a wonderful look on you, and I’m glad milady Irina is able to make you feel so. I remember the first time the three of us interacted with one another.” He snickered, “I addressed you as my father and milady as my mother. Who knew such a strange interaction would come to reality. Though, of course, excluding me as your child.” He cheekily grinned, lifting a gloved hand to poke Ruki’s nose, “You’d make a wonderful father, and a loving husband to her. I can’t wait to see your family grow. Congratulations, Ruki. Or perhaps I should address you as milord now.” He mischievously suggested.

Returning to Zaliki and Irina, the eagle had decidedly not to intoxicate the bride and instead, pulled the Owl over for a dance on the floors of the halls ( Zaliki taking up the man’s role ). They glided and twirled; elegant steps as their dresses flowed around them like waves on serene waters.

“You know, I never thought this would happen to you, Owl whore.” Zaliki started with a slurred tone, “Settling down for a domestic life, and before you know it, you’d be popping kids out of you like a firework on Midsummer’s Eve. Oh, motherhood! The bane to all fun and enjoyments in life—no offense. You’d make an amazing mother, no doubt. But, with that said, I have an idea.”

Oh no.

“See it as my way of celebrating this tearjerker of an occasion of my favourite owl whore being chained down by a bat to a life of children and parenthood.” Her hold tightened around Irina’s waist and hand as her grin slowly widened, “CONGRATULATIONS, BITCH!”

Ebony feathers sprouted and unfurled from Zaliki’s back as the eagle suddenly soared up to the ceiling with the bride in her arms. A loud cackle emitted from one of the pair.

“DON’T WORRY! I GOT YOU, BABY! I WON’T LET YOU FALL! ALL THIS GROUND DANCING ISN’T MY SHIT, YA KNOW! IT’S ABOUT TIME I SHOW YOU THE JOY OF AERIAL DANCING!”

And showed, she did.

As they swam across the air, Zaliki held Irina securely in her arms; ballroom dancing as a swirl of black feathers surrounded them.

“ AND ANY SHITHEADS THAT LOOKS UP UNDERNEATH US IS A FUCKING SLUG! ”

Asra was quick to move to their protection.

On the other side of the banquet hall, a certain pink-haired lunatic ( who wears a collar and a leash to a wedding? ) tugged the hem of his partner’s outfit.

“Can’t we do that as well, Zazu-chan?” He pointed at the pair dancing in the air, “But this is also the perfect time for both of us to go somewhere private instead—”

5. Dancing

I thought of making some ballroom dancing but eh. Instead, I picked some timestamps from this video of Yeji (ITZY) dancing, because I love her fit, her redheadness, her dance and the song! Minutes I inspired these on are [ 0:19 ], [ 0:30 ] and [ 1:02 ], with a little added insanity because there's never enough blood. Enjoy~

It will take a while :') Anyway, I'm also studying a lot of stuff in regards to world building and characterization so Lukas and Kai's age may change at some point.
