This is a purchase I made this year and got for quite a good price. I've noticed recently all the off brand oldschool looking stuff has had a huge jump in price. So I was lucky to scoop this up for what I did. Quality wise it's quite good but it does wrinkle easy. The lace details are really pretty though!

I wore it to a high tea shortly after I got it!

When you haven't had enough sleep at all, but you wake up with new ideas for an app you've wanted to design for ~10 years and haven't thought about in a long time and you have to write them down. Even though you're never going to make an app because how would you even start.

I was sitting on the couch when suddenly a nasty smell hit, then the dog ran into the next room and started trying to claw through the floor. After a few minutes of confusion my nose started to burn.

I sprayed some Febreze in every room, all of the fans are running, candles lit in two rooms, both air purifiers on max, I'm boiling some vinegar, the bathroom window is cracked, (despite freezing temperatures) and I put some shallow dishes of coffee grounds out. The smell is still killing me and i have a headache.

A skunk definitely sprayed under my house. I'm probably just venting into the void but i am dying so if anyone has more smell-killing ideas i could use them

I just realized i never posted this here, but i made a YouTube video about microplastics in tea bags and my favorite teas.

Most commercial tea bags are made of a blend of plastic and paper that looks deceptively like paper. Most (even perfaps some "plastic free" ones) also use adhesive that releases microplastics when heated. Loose leaf is the obvious choice to avoid microplastics, but not the only choice. (And sometimes i don't have the energy to drink loose leaf!! 😭) I made this video after a good bit of research and trying some new teas.

Not only should it be law that anything AI generated on the internet should be labelled as such but every website, app, and digital service should have a button I can click that removes any AI from my interactions with that site/service. I don't want your AI assistant I don't want your AI-generated ad copy I don't want this insidious little thing that has crept into so much of the internet that I can be using it without even realising or knowing. If you couldn't be bothered to have a human make it I can't be bothered to look at it sorry bye

Someone just reblogged my dancing ghosts with “#digital art” and it doesn’t matter at all but I’m still fighting the urge to dm them “they are very much not digital! They’re chicken wire, tore my jeans, and left me covered in small, bleeding scratches! I got a tetanus shot about it!”

No computers were used for these - partly because I like using my hands and partly because I have genuinely no idea how to do digital animation anyway. It seems like witchcraft.

These are life-sized because I have very little experience with figure drawing/sculpting so I just used my husband and I for proportion measurements. (Which meant I was chasing him around going “come back! Let me measure your femur!”)

Hi! The ghosts are hung on an arial yoga rig thingy that can spin and sway in the wind without tangling the ropes supporting it. It catches moderate winds but because it doesn’t have a lot of surface area it doesn’t sway or spin in every small breeze.

For this video I went up and shoved it to make it spin.

We celebrated Marshmellow's gotcha day with presents, a piñata, and pumpkin spice pupcakes! (The sprinkles are freeze dried purple sweet potato!) I took a lot of video to edit later!
