A taste of solitude and bits or realization

Few days ago, I had the chance to talk from a dear friend in college who also turn out to be a close friend. Funny and awkward, we did have revelations about ourselves and of course our friendship. We’ve been together for years and get some misunderstandings which we have never settled. Thank God that finally we were given a chance to talk. If it weren’t because of a misunderstanding with a ‘so-called friend’ , we would not be able to do that. She told me things about my personality. I was a bit shock yet I accepted it. I am not perfect after all. That moment, I was really happy. I was also able to tell her how I feel. Thank you Lord for that chance. Thanks to her for the friendship.

I wonder what the next days would be. Yes! I do love surprises and I can't wait to have one esp. if it is from God. Others might not understand the way I act but then who cares? This is me. I am inlove and I don't see anything worng with that. Seriously, I had the best 7 months and I really couldn't ask for anything more. I just pray that we'll end up together. Hihi Hope we'll be able to surpass all the possible hindrances. He asked me not to give him up and I really won't. Thank you Lord! You're the best.

Six months. We're half way there. Who would have thought that from just a simple exchange of messages, we turned into something we didn't expect to be part of. I guess that's mere luck.

I was broken. He was broken. The same situation we shared for a couple of weeks after our meeting. We were badly hurt by our previous relationships. We both questioned ourselves if there was something wrong with us. Confusions. What went wrong? Diversion. It was a world full of questions. That was before.

Today, I am writing this because I feel the urge to write what I feel. Only few know the 'beginning' of our love story. And I prefer it that way. For a short span of time, the courtship happened. The real thing began. Yes! It was a short one cause I believe I can get him better that way. I don't entertain judgments. I took the risk of letting him enter my world. Glad I did it because I have no regrets. I am getting the best days of my life.

Ours isn't perfect. We have arguments, jealousies, and the like. But I am glad because we were able to surpass everything and hope to do the same for the next months. As what my granny advised us, 'put God the center of your relationship'. This is all because of Him. He is truly the best.

The foundations of our relationship is just being constructed. It is not yet fully strong but we intend to make it the strongest ever. In God's grace, hope our plans will pursue.

Behind my success is my family who has been my inspiration all these years. Being the eldest, the responsibility was put on my shoulder. It was hard to live on other's expectations yet I survived. I promised on my father's tomb that I will do everything to provide a better future for my mom and siblings. Only few knew about the sacrifice of my sis and brother who gave up schooling for some time to work as service crews and share for the expenses of my schooling. In return, I struggled hard for them. Years of hard work and perseverance, I did make it. This year, the three of us are all professionals. We owe it to God, my parents, and those who have helped us. Among the three of us, it is my brother Jeff who dreams big. I am so proud of him though I don't usually tell him this. I know, God will help him fulfill his plans.
