My Happy and Sad Sweetener Tour Experience Pt.I
So, how do I start to tell you how crazy and amazing this experience was?
Well I can definitely tell you it was a r-o-l-l-e-r-c-o-a-s-t-e-r of emotions. Literally. However, before I go into detail about my concert experience of the sweetener tour, I think it is important to give you all some background info to go with it.
So, I have been a fan of Ariana Grande for QUITE some time! Actually the date I set as a starting date of me being a fan of hers is 2012. That’s when I followed her on twitter and made an account just for that reason (lol).
So 2012 it was, Ariana still in red hair and petticoats, singing Put Your Hearts Up and Pink Champagne on a daily basis. I just loved everything about her. Her style, her persona but most importantly her voice and music. Her vocals just blew me away and she was a steady companion of mine throughout school (remember I was 14 in 2012).
I always dreamt of meeting her but never really considered it. I was too young to go on my own and all of my friends had no interest in seeing her whatsoever. Her first tour, the listing sessions, were only in America and I am..... not. I was stuck in Germany, unable to see her anyways, so the question never arose. However, she came here for the Honeymoon Tour, but again I did not dare to go on my own. The Dangerous Woman Tour came around and for some reason I did not get tickets. The concert in Frankfurt was unfortunately cancelled due to Manchester...
What the Manchester incident has shown me is that I should not give two f’cks about what other people think or if I am going on my own. I realised if you wait too long you might miss your chance of seeing her altogether. Manchester really showed me what a beautiful human being she is and how caring she is towards her fans and others.
So, when the Sweetener Tour was announced I anxiously waited for German dates to be released and boom: Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg (multiple times lol) and I knew I HAD to go. I saved up money to buy a laptop but I was like - nope I am spending it on concert tickets - and that is what I did. Not only did I get concert tickets but I got Meet and Greet Tickets for Cologne. I was so damn happy and could not believe my luck when I received my tickets. Also because I got them in a presale via Telekom in Germany. My father is a customer there so I was able to use his log in to buy the tickets.
I met some beautiful and nice people online who also had Meet & Greet tickets for Cologne and we planned to go there together and meet up at the concert! When we arrived the sad news started to come in (and that is the really sad part about this experience): Our Meet & Greet got cancelled and there would be no Soundcheck either. As someone who had not even dared to dream of this moment this was.... heartbreaking. We all were pretty devastated and sad.
However, I was so glad I had people around me who felt my pain, who were just as sad and upset. We all tried to comfort each other and having each others backs really made this whole thing not nearly as bad. We still got the see the VIP loung which was later cancelled for other European dates.
So, the VIP loung was ok lol. We were not allowed to take our phones with us, which made no sense because we did not meet her. They gave us a “cocktail” which was more like juice with some Alkohol. The lounge was ok, we had some food to eat, like donuts, cookies and fruits and a section for taking pictures plus a section to apply glitter jewels to your face. We had to wait for a very long time because they just left us there during the time we were supposed to meet her.
When they let us in pit, they did not care that some people had Meet & Greet tickets and others don’t. Which I and many others thought was pretty unfair. They told us to not start running or we would be kicked out (fair enough, that sh’t is dangerous). There were a bunch of people entering before me so I did not get the desired spot at the mini stage but I got a spot at the barrier which was ok.
I was super nervous and could not wait till the concert started. Now looking back, I think the spot at the mini stage really is not the best to go for. The main stage is where it is at everyone. I know everyone wants to take her hand but you will have a much better view at the front than at the back. She also did not take any hands in Cologne, so that did not matter anyways.
Social House and Ella Mai performed before Ariana went onto stage and they were pretty awesome. I love Ella Mai’s music and her music has been on repeat since the concert. Her voice is very soothing and just R&B. Social House was also amazing. I am pretty sure most people, except hardcore fans did not know who they were but they were still able to hype the crowd and “Haunt You” was such a magical experience.
Now it was time for Ariana and I can’t tell you how weird it was to hear and see her live for the first time after 7 years of being a fan. It was so surreal, seeing her standing there in front of me, and realising “Yep, she is a human being, she is real” and when I tell you I have not seen a prettier human being I AINT lying. Her voice….. is heaven. Like, I could not believe my ears or eyes or whatever was left of me. My soul left my body and I lost track of time. The concert went by so quickly but she really performed for a long time (90 minutes I believe).
All in all a very crazy day and somewhat sad but happy at the same time. Ariana was amazing but you could tell she felt a little sad here and there. I have to split up this post in two because I went to a second date in Berlin which was just a dream. I got to meet her mom and dad and the view was so much better.
The post is coming later today :) I think I will go more into detail how the concert was and how each performer performed etc. If you want me to share some pics just ask. If you got any questions regarding the Sweetener Tour, Meet & Greet etc. don’t hesitate to ask!

Trying Acrylic Painting
So, on friday I was feeling very motivated to do something creative and fun. The weather in Germany is extraordinary good right now and since I wanted to spend some time outside, I was thinking of painting in the sun. What actually led me to this was a video of Zoella on Instagram, in which she tried out some acrylic painting in the office. I remembered having some acrylic paint left from a school project I did in 13th grade and so gathered all my art supplies for a painting session.
I did not quite know what to draw so I looked up a painting tutorial online and found a tutorial by a youtuber called Katie Jobling! She has got some nice tutorials and drawing inspirations on there, so if you are interested check her out :)
There was one particular video which caught my eye, which was this one. It was for beginners and her weave looked really pretty, so I thought why not give it a try. Unfortunately I did not have all the needed art supplies but it still worked pretty well I think. At one point during the video she used an art knife, which I struggled to find a replacement for. However, after some deep consideration I realised the shape was quite similar to that of a cake server :D! So that’s what I used and with some minor issues I got the wanted result!
Mixing colour is actually a lot more difficult than I had imagined. Especially because I do not own the exact same colours she used and the light outside made it hard to figure out the exact same shade she was trying to achieve. At one point my water looked green but I fixed that with some more blue paint.
Also my brushes definitely had seen their last good days already. Sadly they lost a bunch of hairs on my painting but looking at the final result, you can barely see them (only if you look closely).
My finished result is not perfect but I actually really like it! I wasn’t expecting it to look like a weave at all but you can kind of tell what it is right?
Definitely considering doing this more often in the future! It was very therapeutic and calming :)
Baking Star Wars Muffins!
Since today, was a day where I had literally nothing to do, I decided to spend my time with something useful, baking! I didn’t take me very long to decide what to bake, since this Muffin package was flying around for ages and I was too lazy to make them. Until now!
Finally the time came and I got over myself, having all the ingredients at hand, I just started..
All you need for this recipe is
1 egg
150 grams of butter
60 millilitres of water
PS: This is not completely self made, it is a baking mixture from the nearby supermarket
Since this is an all in one dough, you just have to mix together all of the ingredients as seen on the picture at high speed for about 3 to 4 minutes until everything is nicely combined, except the light brown powder (f.l.t.r. baking mixture, butter, egg and the cacao)
Now it is time to put the finished dough into muffin cups (and for sure they are Star Wars themed)
Just try to fill each muffin holder with the same amount of dough, it just looks nicer afterwards, when they are all even. To get this result, I used an ice cream scoop.
Heat the oven to about 170 C° and bake the muffins for 20 to 25 minutes.
They should somehow look like this. Now it is time to decorate them! The package came with a chocolate glaze (the light brown powder from the first picture), which you just had to mix with warm or hot water (water from the sink, there is no need to boil it) until you reached the wanted consistency. It also came with Star Wars character made out of edible paper :D! So I stuck that on top and sprinkled some coconut flakes on top (because why not!)
The stormtrooper is my favourite :D Hope you enjoyed reading this post! I know it is not completely selfmade, but I still think it is a nice idea for a kids birthday party (or just the ultimate Star Wars fan).
Sending love

I was in ENGLAND!
Hello sweeties! A dream of mine has just become real, I was in England! Still can’t believe that I was actually there.... It was even greater (Great Britain lol) than I could’ve ever imagined! Beautiful landscape, nice towns and so many amazing shops and places to visit to. Literally I’ve never heard of it, but for me England was the country of chocolate! While I was there, I literally consumed so much chocolate as I never did before. What a hot mess.
It was such a nice trip! My aim was to improve my English and to get to know the British culture, which I definitely both did :) I was there for 2 weeks, with an organisation which provided language holidays. During this time, I was staying at a host family with another student from my country. They were all really nice! I haven’t met anyone who was mean to me, they were all so polite and friendly! Everyday we had lessons at the university in our classes, which we were divided into after we wrote 2 tests. My teacher was amazing! He was so funny :) At the end we even had to present a presentation and write an essay, on which we got a grade on (A1-C2, so not really a grade) I got a C1 in both, which is quite good! Moreover, during my stay, we moved to several, such as Manchester and Scarborough. I’ve taken many many pictures (500) and I can’t wait to share them on this blog!
The last two days we stayed in London. I’ve seen so many things like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, etc. but I definitely have to go back to England, because I haven’t seen everything!
My next post is going to come soon (with many many pictures :)) I
If you have any question, just ask me and I will answers as soon as I can...🌸

More Than Enough
The first lily of June opens its red mouth. All over the sand road where we walk multiflora rose climbs trees cascading white or pink blossoms, simple, intense the scene drifting like coloured mist.
The arrowhead is spreading its creamy clumps of flower and the blackberries are blooming in the thickets. Season of joy for the bee. The green will never again be so green, so purely and lushly
new, grass lifting its wheaty seedheads into the wind. Rich fresh wine of June, we stagger into you smeared with pollen, overcome as the turtle laying her eggs in roadside sand.

Favourite YouTubers Pt. II
Hello everybody!
Finally (!) I will post the second part of my “Favourite YouTubers Post” It took me quite a long time. At the moment I’m feeling quite motivated! I still love to write and I’m really sad that I couldn’t write on here as much as I wanted to. Never mind. I’m gonna write again and I hope someone will find this interesting :)
Niomi Smart (23y)
Doesn’t she look gorgeous? Niomi is a lifestyle-youtuber from the UK. I don’t even know how exactly I found her. She’s also friends with Zoe (Zoella) and Alfie (Pointlessblog). Perhaps, that’s how I found her, I don’t know, to be honest.
One of the reasons why she’s one of my favourite YouTubers, is the fact that she has a British accent! I just fell completely in love with it, after I heard Zoe’s (Zoella) accent. It is just so lovely. I wish I could speak like that....
Her videos are all good quality. The editing is simple, which I think is an important point. Some YouTubers just do too much editing in their video. Too many colours and stuff. Maybe because they are younger.
As I have already said, she’s a lifestyle YouTuber. She posts Hauls, baking/cooking videos, look-book and so much more. I’m always getting excited when she posts another cooking/baking video. She eats organic. I think that means the same as “vegan(?)”. I just get really inspired and motivated to change my eating habits.
To put it all in a nutshell (oh yeah) you can say, she’s just a nice and sweet girl. Her video appeal to me and her British accent helps me to improve my English skills :)
That’s all! Hope you all have a nice day!
Lol. I need this.
PS: You can find it on Etsy

Memory Tips
Study repeatedly - Overlearn. Take advantage of life’s little intervals (i.e.- riding the bus, walking, waiting in the grocery checkout line)
Spend time actively thinking about material - Exercise weak memories with rehersal and critical reflection. No skimming!
Make material personally meaningful - Write notes in your own words. Form as many cue associations (i.e.- images, experiences) as possible!
Use mnemonic devices for lists - Associate items with peg words, create a vivid story involving the items, or chunk items into acronyms
Refresh your memory by activating cues - Mentally re-create situations/moods where you orginally learned the material or physically return to the location
Minimize interferences - Study about an hour before sleep. Don’t study similar subjects back-to-back (i.e.- Studying Spanish then French right after)
Test your knowledge - Don’t be overconfident about recalling the material. Test yourself with the learning objectives. You can outline sections, define terms/concepts, create practice tests, or explain the topic to a friend without using your notes
