"Humanity is a virtue" This current situation made me realize a lot of things that we need to consider in order to keep us safe and in-touch with the happenings in the society. Humanity is a virtue linked with basic ethics of altruism derived from the human condition. It also symbolizes human love and compassion towards each other. Humanity differs from mere justice in that there is a level of altruism towards individuals included in humanity more so than the fairness found in justice. Humanity comes from the human itself, it's his/her affection towards one person to another. It is also a must needed act in this kind of situation where guilt, anger, frustrations and any kind of hard feelings should be avoided. If discrimination should be stopped, this pandemic also should be.

At this time, we should join hands together. We should move as one, as humans, not by discriminating and hating other people. We people should be addressed as good and responsible human beings. We all have the ability to think and to decide. We have this kind of privilege to do things. We are so blessed to have these kinds of abilities. That’s why we need to use them in the right way, not in an abusive way. We should promote a loving and peaceful community. Realization:

Throughout the making of this website down to posting inspirational quotes to essays advocating our campaign I’ve realized a lot starting from how beautiful it is to learn to accept the beauty of God's creations. Being a part of this project made me realize how serious this social issue is and it must be addressed as soon as possible. Every second, every minute, every hour and every single day some of us experience discrimination and some are also being harassed by the others, and some individuals tolerate the wrong doings of the others because they believe that they are doing the right thing. Hurting someone physically or mentally is never the right thing to do, and if we see someone being discriminated against, we should do the right thing and stand up and help them. Again, regardless of what or who we are, we are all beautiful. Some may say you are unfit for society's beauty, but remember that you are beautiful and nothing is more beautiful than being yourself and being kind to others. So far, I believe we can all agree that discrimination is one of the most serious social issues that anyone can face today. Today, I want to tell everyone that we need to stop discriminating against others and educate ourselves to learn acceptance and appreciation for other people's cultures, beliefs, and beauty. We are born in different ways and for different reasons, so don't let intolerance and hatred consume and influence you. Show respect and serve as a role model for the others. We know what is right and wrong. Treat everyone with respect and stand up for what you believe is right. Take a stand for human rights.

REALIZATION

This pandemic made me realize many things about the importance of humanity, respect, and unity. This pandemic made me realize that we are all the same regardless of our race, culture, religion, beliefs, gender, whether you’re poor or rich. The virus does not choose. Anyone can be infected. Somehow this pandemic connected us, it showed us that we should all stick together and help each other fight this virus. During this chaos, while many of us are in panic, it has shown us the weight of humanity. It reminds us of who we are. We don’t live without relationships and we shouldn’t forget that. We have a very caring and shared connection between us and it’s amazing to see how we are together at this time of pandemic. Sharing is caring. We need to remember how important kindness is. We need to remember that we have been given a gift called life and we should appreciate it. This pandemic will only take a little patience and support for us to handle this crisis, but together we can do it.

UN Women believes that women are part of their lived experiences. These experiences impact on who they become, as well as on their families. These experiences may be religious, racial, cultural, or related to sexual orientation.The Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent have highlighted that girls and women of African Descent are likely to be poorer, to be less educated and to have fewer opportunities everywhere in the world.We are now seeing an outpouring of solidarity, with people protesting in the streets against systemic and brutal racism.We need to fight against racism, too, in our own institutions and everywhere in the world; because only if we are united, we will build back together after COVID-19.In fighting apartheid, it took people of the world also to be in solidarity and to fight together and help to end apartheid.This time has come again. We must be united to end racism as well as gender inequality in the world.
