One Year Anniversary of Bloodlines

One year ago, I posted the first chapter of Bloodlines on AO3 and FF.net! I then went a bit mad on writing it all and finally finished posting the whole thing in May. 😅

I just wanted to commemorate it (and that it coincides with Nalu Week is fun lol) and post a little about what I'm doing now: working on a sequel that more or less continues from where it ended. It focuses on the plot hooks I left (Zeref and Mavis), new threats, and the ongoing repercussions of what happened in the first story. I did think about leaving it longer and focusing on something new, but I don't think I was ready to say goodbye to the AU versions of the characters I wrote about just yet, so I guess this is what my main writing project is now. 😆

And... the first chapter will be posted next week 😉 (It's a prologue, so expect chapter two to come out in the same week)

I am trying to pace myself while writing the sequel this time around, and I also intend to finish some side projects this year if I can.

The KIDS act (which contains KOSA) passed the US house, so I would recommend calling your senators and telling them to vote in opposition. I don't think I need to stress the importance of being able to use the internet freely and without privacy barriers being breached.

There are many scripts online you can follow, many ways to tweak your message to fit your senator (ESPECIALLY if they are up for reelection this year). Whether it's a recording you reach or a real person, be straightforward, don't argue, just let your rep know that you are a constituent and you oppose the KIDS act, etc.

Here is where you can search for your senator... call, email, fax, bring them physical letters, show up in person to their offices if you are able.

"but lucas baker-" lucas baker is deranged and joker-esque and clearly called him christopher in the only correct way he should be called christopher. as a funny lengthening of the real name.

like imagine. dragons. now imagine. claire is mad at chris. does she yell out "CHRIS REDFIELD COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" or does she call out "CHRISTOPHER [fake middle name] REDFIELD COME HERE RIGHT NOW"? exactly.

he is CHRISTOPHER when its FUNNY and NO OTHER TIME.
