Social Media, Analysis Activity #1, PH402
While reviewing the County of San Diego I learned that their page performance was 17,40 likes overall. However I also learned that the City and County of San Francisco had a significant amount of more likes totaling 255,055. The County of San Diego has a lot better engagement rate which is 4.94% while the City and Country of San Francisco engagement rate is only 0.08%. So overall San Diego must work on the amount of likes that they are receiving while San Francisco must work on the engagement of their viewers on their page.
Some recommendations that I have for the County of San Diego include increasing their likes growth rate overall. Also they should try to be more active with their followers in order to increase their interest about their page. Posting new and different things might be useful as well in order to have variety in their posts. Next, I would recommend that they shorten their posts in order to receive more responses. Lastly I would encourage them to ask way more questions as well as creating hashtags to expose their brand more.
First of all for the City and County of San Francisco I would recommend them to increase the amount of posts per week in order to increase awareness. Next I would tell them to change up the types of posts that they are posting about in order to break it up. Then I think they should ask more questions on their page in order to see what their viewers really want. Another thing that would help them would be if they let their fans post on their social media page. Lastly they should post at the recommended times in order to reach and engage with more users.

I also realized that San Francisco didn’t post as frequent as San Diego yet they still had more likes which means that the people in their community is aware compared to San Diego. I agree that San Diego needs to have more interactions with their viewers and post more hashtags because today a lot of people will search hashtags because it’s just easier to find certain things doing it that way. I also agree that San Francisco needs to post more and keep up with their social media. @globalcommunicationproject
