An Unlikely Story: Cato and Katniss
Yew pressed his lips together again and shrugged before picking up one of the ropes. “I don’t know if showing off is the best way to scare him off… He ain’t gonna scare.” He tugged at the knot and looked at it. He was actually pretty good at them. Katniss hadn’t even really gotten halfway through hers.
"Just… try to keep him off us, alright…" He bit his lip and looked up at her. "I don’t want to die first…"
"Don't run to the cornicopia and you don't die first." She said in slight agitation. She was frustrated about how everything was turning out. Sighing, she finished up her knot and set it down. "Don't worry. I'll keep your ass safe." She said with a thin lipped smile. Pulling away, she turned turned and walked the room, finding another station to work on her own. That's what she needed to do, just distance herself from the other tributes and keep her head down. Not that it really mattered at this point.
