“Some kind of muggle physics-focused assignment, maybe?” Karine smiled at the girl. “What Charms assignment is unlucky to be hated so strongly, that it would drive a girl to stacking books?”
Friendly. Karine relaxed a bit. Between the angsty students, the Cato-obsessed students, and the students that were determined to be nothing but the best, she could always appreciate a friendly soul. For her, friendliness was often only shown to get to a new path of learning- and for now, maybe, a friend. “I like how you think, Priya. Lovely name. I’d imagine the librarian wouldn’t be happy to see her books used for this task… Accio.” With a quick wave of her wand, the stack of books that weren’t yet alphabetized in her bookshelf made way from her dormitory to the two. “Would these do? You have a wonder of the world to build, we can’t waste any time if I’m to pretend I helped with this venture.”
“Ahhh, yes! That’ll do. We’ll say it’s for muggle studies. Nevermind the fact that I’m not taking it.” Iya sighed, her thoughts returning to her abandoned work. “I don’t hate it, I guess. It was just stupidly difficult. The section in the textbook wasn’t making sense when it came to understanding what the hell I was supposed to do to actually cast the spell and I have temporarily given up on writing about it.” She didn’t mean to go on a tangent, she rarely does, but it was hard not to when it came to that which frustrated her. “Oh! Thank you! My parents did well on the naming front.” Iya watched as the stack of books came into sight, a giddiness beginning to bubble up about the sheer mass of new materials for this project. “You’re wonderful! You know, I think these will work perfectly. Should we take this to a courtyard? I think it’ll be less disruptive there.” She asked, as if disruption was something she was caring much about.
